I will honestly not take my car to another shop. Andy and his team have helped me out, time and time again. They are up front about the cost, honest about what is necessary to be done now, what can wait, and what the cost will be. There's no judgment on making choices that may not have been helpful with your car, just education provided to make better ones. Took my car there to have the air conditioner checked out I had a leak. They told me where the leak was. I replaced the hose two days later the compressor locked up. I stopped by there to ask if they could come out and take a listen to it. The lady said they were busy and she didn’t have nobody. I’ll never take anything there again $900 to change the air conditioner line that was The line was only $176 your labor rate must be $350 an hour

A transmission fluid leak while maneuvering into an Iowa City tailgate spot is highly over-rated, but it beats the highway. Tow was a challenge, but I knew I needed to be close to home at a shop I know and trust. That's Big Jim’s. Andy and his team had my truck back on the road by Thursday after replacing the transmission fluid lines and - most importantly - confirming a transmission replacement was unnecessary. Big Jim’s motto should be you get what you pay for. If you want the cheapest or fastest solution, look elsewhere. If you want thorough, competent and ethical service, Andy is the man.

(For context, I brought my car in for an inspection after buying it from a private seller.) I don’t think I have enough good things to say- they were able to get my car looked at in a timely manner and gave me a really detailed inspection with pictures of what’s wrong, what needs to be fixed immediately and what can wait. They had a loaner car available the day I brought mine in, which took so much stress out of the process. They were super friendly and helpful, and it was easy to get in touch when I had questions or concerns. I’ll definitely be bringing my car back to them!

I highly recommend Revive Auto Care. I had taken my vehicle to McGrath for an oil change and a warranty item. They did not secure bolts correctly under my vehicle which left a piece loose and hanging off. Revive was very nice on the phone and got me in right away. They even showed me what had happened. Needless to say, this is now the company that I will be taking my vehicle to for maintenance and repairs when needed.

I’m always well taken care of by Andy and his crew. Honestly, I was considering trying one of those “stay in your car while we change your oil” places just to see how it was. I Learned what the price would be. But for not that much more $, Revive Auto took care of me and also pointed out a few things going on with my vehicle. Helped me take care of those. No pressure, no sales tactics to get more $ out of the customer. Just pure concern for my driving safety and longevity of my vehicle. I’ve used Revive for most all of my automotive needs and feel Andy has a genuine concern to just help people and keep your vehicle in good working order. He gives you pros/cons, not just trying to make a buck. I appreciate that. He values his honesty and reputation far more than making a buck.
