Nick was great. He was on time, professional, and very full of knowledge on what he was doing, I highly recommend for anyone with automotive repair needs.

I paid $1500 up front for work done on my vehicles on March 6, 2024. He had worked on my vehicle before and I felt I could trust him. Unfortunately I’ve learned my lesson about that, since he has scammed me and given me the run around for three months. Today it is May 20th, one of the cars has hardly been touched and is still not running and the other is worse off than when he started. Since the beginning of the job it has been one thing after another. Can’t get ahold of him to see when he will be working on the vehicles and when you do reach him, he says he’ll be here one day and then doesn’t show. When he does arrive, he’ll tell you he needs to find a specific part and leave to get it. He’ll return in a week to do an oil change and still be no closer to finding the part from one week ago and will need to leave once more to find it. It’s been back to back excuses and while I’ve been understanding, it reaches a point where I no longer have the patience. I’m sorry but after weeks of one excuse after another patience grows thin. Communication is terrible, good luck getting ahold of him. And his customer service has gone out the window completely. I messaged him requesting money back on the incomplete work only after the three month mark and the response I got was “I don’t really read long books or paragraphs”. Absolutely unacceptable when a customer who has already paid is asking when the work is gonna be done or the money returned and you refuse to complete the job you were hired for. This is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want a professional with good communication skills and customer service, DONT go here. I just want my money back for the portion of repairs that has not been completed and to warn everyone else to avoid Nick White at BKS Automative Repair. Since I can’t get a response anywhere else, this is my last resort. Maybe he’ll care to read the long paragraph when the public can see how he treats his customers.

VIRGINIA DRIVERS BEWARE. AVOID NICK HITE WITH B.K.S AUTOMOTIVE, MARINE AND DIESEL! HE IS A SCAMMER, DO NOT RECOMMEND! After initially building rapport and making us comfortable, like he was trustworthy, on his 3rd trip out after my sister wrecked her car, Nick requested $1500 up front for repairs. We were not aware of this request or transaction until afterwards, although we had a group chat between the 3 of us to help protect her from this type of predatory behavior, which he evidently didn't like to use as he stopped responding to it and he moved their messages private. It quickly went downhill from here. This was supposed to be total parts and labor for her car and her husband's Jeep. This was not just a parts deposit, which would be reasonable, but full parts and labor up front. She paid this at the beginning of March with expectations of it being completed within the next couple of weeks. But with every week came more excuses, straight up no shows, and completely unprofessional behavior. It is almost June, and he has been giving her the runaround for months, while she has been unable to work this entire time, costing her thousands. At this point he has been blocking her calls and ignoring contact attempts made by us on her behalf. He was aware from day one that we were looking for someone to take care of her in our absence, as we are a reputable mobile mechanic in Texas but we had hoped to avoid having to fly to Virginia to fix it for her. He has failed to complete repairs and also refuses to give her an invoice so she can see a breakdown of where her money went. While he did purchase parts and complete some of the parts changing, the car is worse off than when he started, and he refuses to make her hood shut or fix her headlights she paid for to where they actually function. So she cannot drive in early morning or evening times and her hood is ratchet strapped down. He did not fasten everything back up in the fender well so her plastics ended up trashed. He lost parts to her husband's Jeep, and has not finished those repairs either. He claims he only owes her a couple hours of labor and agreed to a refund of a little under $300 for unfinished repairs, but has failed to return the funds. This guy has been a nightmare. So now we are going to have to fly to Virginia from Texas to fix her vehicles, as he's proven, we cannot trust the mechanics out there to be honest and stand by their word. Please avoid him because his word means nothing, and what does a man have, without his word? Word of mouth is everything in this industry. Do what's right, respond to your prepaid customer, refund what you owe, and provide a detailed invoice, please. That's all we're asking and could've avoided sharing our experience publicly, because we do understand hard times happen. But lying and ghosting your customers is not okay. You should be ashamed of yourself, Nick, as you've now stolen from an active duty soldier who is out there fighting for your freedom while you're helping facilitate the bad reputation this entire industry has. You are the reason we do what we do, and treat our customers like we'd treat our siblings! It sounds like your personal life is taking priority at the moment, so do your customers the favor of honesty and call it quits on your business BEFORE you screw anyone else over. Y'all, please, avoid this business. Save yourself the time, money, and headache. Hoping Nick will find this "novel" worth the read after having the audacity to both scam and then patronize my sister for continuing to reach out, stating he doesn't read novels. Do better. We would never treat our customers like you have done!

Homie Ace is a bomb mechanic man. My guy showed me how to do tha tune up and chopped it up with me while diagnosing a whole other problem on my vehicle. Dude is diamond amongst coal as far as mechanics in tha area. He did great work and my car smooth was WAY quieter after the tune up. If u value your vehicle and time go see him. He is a solid mechanic and stand up guy.

I don't know what to say. but I'd give 2 stars instead of 1 only because the 2 times I got ace out here he was very knowledgeable and helped me understand everything that was going on with my car, he changed my oil, made sure my transmission fluid was straight, diagnosed my car and his prices were great. but when I needed him to do the job I originally called him for he just disappeared and kept part of my deposit. 🤷🏽♂️
