The service done on my car no problem, but when they brought my car around for check out it sat there for 40 minutes ready before being checked out! Then when I finally ask about it the girl I asked was helpful but the guy that was supposed to check me out was rude to her drawing everyone attention and I’m sorry but all I wanted after 3 hours of waiting was to be checked out and leave!

I have always been extremely happy with my experiences at BMW of Gainesville. My rep, Jose, is extremely knowledgeable and advises me well. The showroom is comfortable and clean with great snacks and drinks. Prices for service are much more reasonable than what I thought they would be for a BMW. On my last visit I was concerned about my brakes squealing. After the service department checked them out, Jose informed me there was plenty of life left on the brake pads. The squealing was caused by infrequent use of the car. I was given a free car wash and sent on my way with no charge. Jose and this dealership have earned my trust and loyalty. Every visit has been a refreshing change from other dealership service visits. Despite having a 2015 BMW, I am always treated like a VIP!

To be fair, this review is in part contributed to my not following instincts. I was informed that my regular tech (Albert) was otherwise encumbered and unavailable to perform the annual service on the wife’s X3. Had I rescheduled to accommodate his workload, the following may have been avoided. Service was performed in roughly 45 minutes, and I departed smilingly about that, thanks to Jose. Where it started going sideways was after wiping what I believe was a lubricant from the steering wheel, I noticed a spill of some liquid on the 90-day old front splitter as well. As I was removing it, my wife inquired about the marring of the finish on the driver’s side front fender. Upon review, it appeared a soiled fender cover was utilized or possibly none employed. Had we not been pressed for time for an appointment, I would have returned to Jose to address the issues. Given the pressure of the pending appointment, I decided the fender scuff is superficial enough that I can buff it out in the shop at my leisure. Considering the foregoing, future visits will include a video walk-around with Jose on each vehicle. I am very happy with the service department overall and will continue to have our vehicles serviced there.

The other day, I had a 2 hour wait (new battery and oil change) so he said I could use the conference room for some work video calls. Brought my 2014 BMW 328I in for an oil leak and Jose took great care of me. From telling me everything to expect and the cost of repairs and even a loaner car for the few hours was great. Better service than any other dealership. Highly recommend this dealership and talking with Jose. Special thanks to the mechanic doing the walk around and the video. He was very knowledgeable and made sure all recommendations were clear for me. I think the idea of a video to the customer is outstanding. Our car broke down in Lake City, Fl on our way to Largo, Fl as we are Snowbirds from Canada. As soon as we arrive in the parking lot with the tow truck one of the staff was over with his tablet taking info and brought us inside to meet a service advisor (Colby). This young gentlemen well mannered took our pertinent info and while he explained to us in details of the circumstances, a technician was already running a diagnostic on the engine. Within ½ hour we knew what the problem was with our BMW Alpina. Spark plugs and coils #3 and #6 which had to be ordered in. So why not change all 8. Because it was a statutory long weekend we had to wait 2 days for parts. Service tech, Colby, offered us a Courtesy vehicle for the time being which has been a blessing for us. The car was repaired the same day the parts were in and our car was washed/ waxed and shiny tires. A service "Second to none". This BMW of Gainesville is pleasant and very professional. I will not hesitate to drive 3 hours away to get this excellent service on my car.
