Only thing here that is good is the way the people speak to you. I came here a while back for these guys to change out my tires to my new rims. One of my tires was leaking air because they didnt install the air inlet correctly. One of my hub centric rings was NOT put on. Most after market rims require the rings. They also has the ability to tell me one of my tire was getting a ball of air on it but they didn't. Again, the only thing good here are the way they speak to you.

My dad needed two tires on his van. It was kind of late so we looked for a place close by. We pull over because we seen door was open but looked like they were closing up. A nice man asked if he could help us. I told him we needed two used tires. He showed my dad the tires and stated the price which was in our buget. While they were putting the tires on I found out that the shop was actually closed already. I was amazed and thankful they took care of us. We will definitely go there agian.

Bobby's came recommended by a family member... what a disappointment! Needed a window fixed on my ride, not only did it take almost a month for the "special order" part to be delivered, but after my quote was in place they proceeded to do the job and after the fact inform me that due to the special order it would be an extra $80!! Nope. Just bad business. Jared helped cash me out (he was really nice) poor guy, all of this bad news was dropped on him by the owner to deliver to me. If you're looking for timely and reliable service, Bobby's is not the spot!

I bought my exhaust here over 1yr ago at a great price eith installation. I began to hear a noise coming from my heat shield not long after that so I brought my truck in and he welded it free of charge.(of course I tipped him a few $) Service like this will keep me coming back and even recommending this place to friends and family.

Bobby's tires has amazing service and great prices. The atmosphere was really nice and comfortable. Everyone I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. I discovered Bobby's does more than tires- oil changes, brakes, etc. I will definetly be back soon for more services. This is my new go to place for my vehicle needs. Came for an oil change that last time I was charged $70, but since I don't know much about cars this sketchy shop took advantage of me and charge me 120$ for the oil change when my car only needed regular, and on top of that charged me $20 for a drain plug ring that other shops replace for free. Mind you on their website they say "We'll beat anyone's prices! Lowest price in town for oil changes!" How does an oil change for a 20 year old car comes up to $140? Overall, my experience with this scam mechanic shop was an absolute nightmare. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone, and I would caution anyone considering using their services to think very carefully before handing over their hard-earned money.

2,300 miles from home and you realize you're riding on a tire that odds are you should've been stranded in the desert or should've had a blowout in the mountains. Praise the Lord for our safety! And double praise Him for Bobby's Tires in National City. We got a sweet condition used tire mounted, balanced, and installed for well under $100 -- PLUS one super-friendly and down-to-earth mechanic evaluated why we had such a shredded tire (our shocks were quite compromised) and gave us a reasonable estimate on the spot for getting those replaced. Trusted them completely, but declined this particular service. Even so, they assured us we'd be safe for our travels til we got home. Generally, one would expect to be "raked over the coals" or "bent over a barrel" in our situation, but we encountered just the opposite. If we lived in this area, Bobby's would be one place we'd patronize for our auto and tire needs.

Someone cut my exhaust thinking it was my cat. I needed it repaired on a Saturday. Bobby's charged me $90. Job was done in about 45 mins. Ill assume the labor rate is $100/hour. No military discounts. They welded a support bar for my exhaust. Welds hold well but they're ugly as hell. I recommend if you're in a rush. Proof is in the pictures. 👍

Jessie at Bobby’s muffler and tires. He treat my vehicle as if it were his own. He continuously goes above and beyond ensuring every task is quality over time.
