I dropped my car off with them complaining that the car constantly jerks and convulses and I can’t accelerate until the convulsions wear off. I also complained that it shakes and vibrates when I’m sitting idle at a light or drive-thru. Four days later when I picked up my “repaired” vehicle, NOTHING had changed!! Nothing! So they had me bring it back so a mechanic could ride with me. He acknowledged the things I described were in fact happening, but he tried to gaslight me and say it’s perfectly normal for the car to violently jerk the way it does. In my 30 years of driving many, many cars, I have never had one do what this one does. I get p*ssed off every time I drive it. They didn’t FIX a damn thing. Don’t trust them with your car!

I had a worker named Leon help me out with getting my smog check. He was extremely helpful and the business was fast with the service. Last time I took my vehicle to another business for smog check and I had to wait a long time and the facility wasn't as nice as Jerald's. Recommended.

STAR AUTO CARE: Researched best places for a smog with a coupon. Gotta love saving money! The deal is to get smogged and certificate, and THEY will send cert to DMV. THEY NEVER SENT IT. Called repeatedly to get it done. This caused me a delay in getting my registration and tags. NEVER AGAIN. I got jipped because they didn't complete the service I paid for.

Terrible customer service. I arrived and the man who does the smog check left, telling me he would be back in 20 minutes, and left everything open even though it wasn't his break time or anything. I have a question: Is it acceptable that at 1:30 when I arrived and was waiting for the man who was 5 minutes late, he came up to me and said he would be back in 20 minutes because he was going to take care of some personal matters, and then he left the entire business open and made me wait for half an hour? Is that allowed?
