We bought new tires and brought our Rav Tuesday. We had stopped in on the day before to see if we needed an appointment for an alignment. We asked what it would cost he gave us a cost of $89.00 and they don’t make appts. for alignments just to bring it in. So on Tuesday we come and the guy said it would be $119.00. I said we had stopped in the day before and were told it would be $89.00. So we were waiting for a couple of hours, they come back and said the arms were rusted they were able to do the fronts but had to spray the back arms, and to bring it back on today, Saturday. So we go up there and after about 30 minutes they come back and said they couldn’t finish the alignment on the back tires and that it would cost $750-850 for new arms. So we left. We will be going to a different place on Monday. I felt like they were being rude with us, after I told him we were quoted a lower price than what he told us the day we took it in. We definitely will not be back. Like the saying goes, Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.

My wife took our 2010 f150 for brakes pads replacement, I was told we need rotors as well, normally we paid $350 out the door before we came to Tucson and this brake master tech told us it’s going to be $1650😳🫢 and threatened my wife to call 911 if she lives without repair so she put me on phone and I told them the truth, so crooked. It turned out it’s very expensive in Tucson to fix a car but I spent less than $700.

Sharing my Brake Masters (Valencia Rd.) experience. I am a bit confused. Jose and Gustavo have been very friendly and informative on what needs to be repaired on a vehicle once the tech(s) have done a diagnostic check/review. My truck was towed there twelve days ago, I thought it was the fuel pump (third) but was informed it was the ignition cylinder/alarm system problem, then six days ago it was the computer (ECM) because key chip is not communicating. Three days ago, my truck was ready, it started! When I picked it up and left my A/C air was hot. Once at home, I opened the hood, fuse box was not closed, AC caps were off (the cap by the antifreeze reservoir and two caps were left on fender near the AC compressor area). I do not know why they did not tell me and let me leave the premises. I know they have a lot of vehicles that are being worked on and are very busy. I took it back because they were going to fill with freon, the hoses were connected but when Tech was back to my truck, I asked him what the problem was, and he said I had a hose leak, its compressed hoses - located in the middle/top of engine and & it will cost me $450+ and will take two hours to repair? I left & will be back. My A/C was working before truck died. They said they did not touch the A/C or any parts on the matter but there is a mystery of why the AC caps were off and A/C is blowing hot air…. After my drs. appt, I took my truck in today and again was informed they did not touch my A/C and to bring it back tomorrow to speak with Gustavo who has helped me and knows the situation of my truck. I just hope my truck is repaired soon & company considers some sort of discount.

Honestly Brake Masters here on West Valencia in Tucson Arizona is the best place I have ever taken my car to for any type of service as far as honesty and price and respect goes. I understand that everyones experience with auto repair shops is different, especially with costly repairs. A 5 star is rare, but this shop pulled it off this time. My Toyota Sequoia needed an alignment since I brushed a parking cement pole! I was leery to take it in, thinking the damage might be more than a normal realignment. The manager gave me a price, and cautioned me that it might change after the inspection. In less than an hour, I was on my way home with a straight steering wheel and completely satisfied with the work, customer service, and price. The lobby and restrooms were clean, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I will return someday and recommend this location.
