The store itself was great, didn’t have any issues. But beware of the brakes. We payed extra for their lifetime warranty and didn’t even last us 2 years before they rusted and not drivable. They did not honor the lifetime warranty so now I was stuck buying brand new brakes somewhere else. Money is not worth the cheap quality.

Will never be back. I’ve been in 3x! Went in for new brakes & needing a new serpentine belt. $500+ later Left and the next day, brakes were grinding. Had to take it back, a piece of metal was scraping on the NEW rotors. Cool, fixed Week later, brakes smelled like it was burning , again had to go back & found out the wrong serpentine belt was added. Had to leave my vehicle to have it changed. Go home and later that evening I hear SCRAPING coming from the bottom of my car. Get under to see this giant piece just dragging on the ground. With fluid leaking. Had to come back for a 3RD TIME. Rick cut me off and asked for my keys without letting me finish my sentence. Rick stated his techs shouldn’t have taken this off to fix the belt issue. Said he’ll fix it, came back to tell me i hit something and that it just “fell off” and the bolts were rusted. But never ever had an issue! My car sat at home from the time I left the brake masters until Monday morning (due to them being closed Sunday!) And here I am writing this, and the belt issue is STILL an issue. Absolutely avoid this place! It’s been one thing after another.

Brake Master’s in Surprise, Arizona went above and beyond expectations to take care of me. I was out of town for a baseball tournament with two boys playing. My brakes were causing my whole car to shake, so I knew it needed to be taken care of asap. They not only took care of the issue quickly but they drove me to and from the baseball field so I didn’t have to miss my boys’ games. They were so kind and willing to serve me on a personal level, in fact, they offered their help. We need more of that in the world, especially when it’s so easy to come across negativity and contention. Brake Masters brought this worried Mama so much peace amidst a chaotic and challenging day. Thank you for showing what it means to really care!

Horrible prices they told my wife it 740 for breaks then we said we can't do that much then they said oh well it's only 460 without the lifetime warranty. Breaks Plus has a lifetime warranty on all 4 breaks for 450 and a little over 300 without. And since we did pay it took over an hour for them to put the tires back on and lower it. Break Masters screws people.

Needed new breaks. Went in Thursday to get info, they were very nice and answered all the questions I had, didn’t make me feel like an inconvenience. Made an appointment for the next day, when I shows up on Friday, I confirmed the free inspection would take an hour, the lady at the counter said yes and we discussed me bringing my car back another day to fix anything wrong because I was on my lunch break. 45 minutes later she called me and we discussed next steps, I was pleased to know they could take me to work while they fixed my car so I wouldn’t have to bring it back again. No matter where you go to get your car fixed, you know there’s gonna be a long wait, At least on my experience, nothing is ever done on time. But this location was so amazing, it was so super helpful for them to work on it while I was at work, and give me a ride back when I needed to pick it up. The staff was so friendly and very upfront about everything., I would definitely recommend them.

12:00 appointment Friday before Labor Day for an oil change, four wheel alignment and front brakes and check out some steering wheel shaking, which I was hoping would be fixed with an alignment. Post alignment the shaking was still there. Turns out the front passenger CV axle had gone bad even though it had been replaced a year ago. Quoted me a decent price but I’m going to take it back to the shop that replaced it last year and have them warranty it. I was very pleased with the experience - very clean service bays, lobby, and excellent staff at front desk who kept me apprised of their progress PLUS $40 off Labor Day discount! I recommend this place

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! This shop has charged me over a $1,000 to replace brakes and turn rotors. Problem is my brakes sound like a train coming to a stop. When I took the car back in today they charged me for new back brakes and the sound is just as loud. They test drove it meaning they’re aware they didn’t fix the issue and charged me anyways. Will be calling the BBB if this isn’t fixed free of charge.

So i took my car here for a diagnostic check because it dies and wont turn back on. I had bought a batter from walmart but i didnt install it cause if the battery was fine,I could return the batter, well they charged me $200 for a diagnostic check to see if it was an alternator problem or batter or if there was a parasitic draw somewhere. They came back and said it was my battery, and installed my new battery into the car. Well if thats the case why is my car constantly still dying. I have to keep getting jump starts. They didnt do they job and they went with the easiest route. I hope people read this review before trusting this place.

Was quoted an hour for an oil change. Took a bit over an hour and half. Needless to say at this time this auto shop doesn’t fit my service needs. I would use caution when choosing this place for your auto service. I will be taking my business to someplace else like Edmunds or Gemba.

The Arizona sun beat down on Surprise as my saga with a certain auto service center unfolded – a frustrating trilogy of visits within a single week, each ending in the same disheartening refrain: a two-hour wait or the suggestion to book an appointment. I still vividly recall the receptionist's repeated two-hour estimate each time I dared to walk in before scheduling. Desperation finally drove me online, where, after navigating a digital labyrinth, I snagged a 10:30 AM Monday appointment – a beacon of hope for a swift oil change before my workday commenced. Punctually, I arrived, handing over my keys with a sliver of optimism. But the question about the expected time frame was met with a jarring response: a staff shortage would inflate the service time by a staggering eighty minutes. I sighed, reluctantly accepting, my schedule allowing for a mere whisper of delay. Yet, reality scoffed at my meager expectations. Hours bled into one another, the hands of my watch mocking my dwindling punctuality. My car sat motionless outside, seemingly invisible to the bustling activity within. My repeated inquiries were met with hollow promises of "just a few more minutes." A full hour and forty minutes crawled by before my vehicle finally limped into the service bay. Another thirty minutes ticked away for the oil change itself, culminating in a two-hour and twenty-minute ordeal! My scheduled half-hour pit stop had ballooned into a two-hour and forty-minute black hole, leaving me ten minutes late for work. The irony was a bitter taste – I had waited far longer with an appointment than the initial walk-in estimate. At the cashier, emboldened by frustration, I requested a discount – a small acknowledgment of their egregious disregard for my time. The answer was a curt refusal, the flimsy excuse of a missing employee offered as a shield. I felt a surge of indignation, a profound sense of being dismissed. Was I expected to simply drive away, risking the same time-wasting gamble elsewhere? Or did this blatant error not warrant a simple apology, a modicum of respect for my time as a customer? Adding insult to injury, my family and I have three vehicles registered at this very center for oil changes, brake services, and other repairs. We were, it seems, "inconvenient" customers, not worthy of the attention lavished on those who leave their cars indefinitely. Where, I ask, has the basic tenet of customer respect vanished? Where are the proactive gestures so common in other businesses, the attempts to compensate for unintentional delays? This establishment, it appears, caters to those with endless patience, while those with schedules are left to languish. The lesson learned, though bitter, is clear: appointment or not, prepare for a significant time warp at this service center. A Message to the Owner of This Establishment: Sir/Madam, this is not a casual complaint; it is the frustrated cry of a customer who feels betrayed after placing their trust in your services. Three vehicles, representing a family's ongoing needs, were poised to be loyal patrons of your business. Yet, this flagrant disregard for customer time, this nonchalant attitude towards delays born of apparent disorganization, casts a long shadow over your commitment to customer retention. The stark contrast between the repeated two-hour walk-in estimate and the far longer wait after booking an appointment reveals a profound disrespect for your clientele's schedules. A gesture of goodwill – a complimentary oil change for my vehicles, a significant discount on future services – would not rewind the wasted hours or erase the inconvenience. However, it would serve as a powerful message: that you value your customers and are committed to earning back their trust and satisfaction. Will you heed this outcry? Will you transform this negative experience into an opportunity to demonstrate your dedication to quality and customer care? Or will you choose to lose a loyal customer and the ongoing revenue from three vehicles? The ball is now in your court. And I, a disappointed customer, await y

I’ve been coming to this location for at least 5+ years now. Every time I come in the staff are friendly & helpful. They don’t try to upsell me anything I don’t need. They provide recommendations for repairs based off their inspection and the urgency of the repair, so that I can financially plan. Their prices have always been affordable & significantly cheaper than other mechanic shops in the valley.

Rick was great in explaining what my high schoolers needed on his 4x4. Adrian did a great job, clean & thorough job. We needed the squeaks to stop. They cleaned to front brakes(still had 70% on the pads) & replaced the rear that were original to the 2008. New rotors & lifetime pads. Now my son will be set for college or whatever comes next. Thanks fellas!

Appreciated the great price for a full synthetic oil & filter change ($50) on my Camry, plus a complimentary tire rotation and fluid level top-off. Friendly staff at this Bell Rd, Surprise store. Its convenient location made it possible for me to do some shopping at Home Depot while I waited!
