Very professional and got the job done right where as the other car repair place wanted to charge me for something that wasn’t the problem. Champ’s did so right by me.

We were referred to this place from another business as we were on the move looking to have a frozen hub removed off our quad axle. My son and I weekend project. First, the place is super clean...great first impression. Second, the front desk guys are nice people, helpful, patient. You get the feeling they actually want to help and like their field of service..that reflects a healthy atmosphere and work environment. Third, they show support for local law enforcement. Can't miss the flag flying outside and the one on the wall inside. And appreciation plaques on the wall. Fourth, the owner grabbed the quad axle went in the back and removed the hub and didn't ask for anything in return. He was willing to help no charge. Also it says a lot that the owner is that involved in the day to day grind of the business.

Go ANYWHERE else. Though I appreciated what was meant to be helpful advice from my neighbors, I ended up in a very bad situation of being horribly ripped off by Champs. I am now in the process of a small claims lawsuit against them. There are far too many corrupt and unethical mechanics out there but he takes the cake. I was trying my best to avoid this but it happened anyway. I dropped the ball here by not bothering to read all of their horrifically negative reviews on Yelp. I was quoted $500 for the work and authorized it. When it was completed the price doubled. Nothing changed or was added to the scope of work. They refused to explain this. They also put a huge mark-up on the part I could have walked into the dealership and bought for $150 less. Marking up parts is unethical and dishonest. In addition they broke the interior console and left lots of grease on my seats and dash, which I had to clean with degreaser. When I asked that they replace the broken console, the owner laughed and said "Your car is old and things break and I'm not paying for it." Btw, My car was in pristine shape. I have no kids, no pets, I don't smoke and don't even eat in my car. In fact, I'm meticulous about keeping my car looking new. I asked him to cover the cost of replacing the console by at least taking $50 off the work. He said, " I don't give away free money." I replied, "You broke my car. " He said, "Too bad, I'm not paying for it." This man was one of the most unprofessional, rude and volatile people I've ever encountered. In fact, he made me feel like he would physically assault me even though I was treating him with respect and patience. My experience at Champs was worse than I could have ever feared. As I said, if I had only read the horrifying reviews, this wouldn't have happened to me. I wish I had chosen one of the other suggestions. I hope this helps someone else not make this same mistake. My advice: appreciate the intended help but please read the Yelp reviews beforehand. Hopefully this man will have to pay for damaging my car in a court of law. I'm 64 and am dealing with cancer. I don't have time or energy for this and it isn't fair but I have to fight for justice. Please don't end up in my shoes. Go anywhere else. UPDATE: Absolutely EVERYTHING this person said in response is a lie. He thinks nothing of ripping people off so it's not surprising he would lie to cover his wrong-doings. People who make their living in unethical, dishonest ways are not above lying. In fact, the two go hand in hand. He's trying to do damage control with lies because he doesn't want to lose future customers. I will point out that just one of his lies is particularly egregious in that he claims my car is 23 years old. He told this lie to create the impression that I'm driving an old, beat up car, when in fact my car is actually a 13 year old 2012 model. I've kept it in pristine condition. That is until his mechanic broke the console he refuses to pay for. My Yelp review has pictures of my car's excellent condition. I'm sure at some point he will edit the 23 year old car lie out to save face but that's what screenshots are for. The bottom line here is this guy is a crook. If he had just done the right thing I wouldn't have put this much effort into getting justice for something he lies and says was already there before I brought my car to his shop. Let my crappy situation serve as a warning to innocent consumers.

These people are amazing I will never go anywhere ever again. Changed the oil on two of my vehicles and changed the rear breaks on a third vehicle all In the same day! They explained why one of my vehicles didn’t need the tire rotation I requested which was really appreciated, and they identified an issue that was causing a blinking light on my dash that that were happy to fix for free. They treated me like I had been a customer for years and it was my first time ever trying them out! Hands down the best customer service and professionalism I’ve ever experienced, also great prices! I’ll be back :)

Had a noise and shake in my motorhome so asked if they could diagnose. It took a while to discover loose bolts in the frame but they found and tightened them! Freightliner said the noise was normal! So glad they were persistent. Highly recommend.

Came into the shop getting an initial diagnostic from the dealership. Champs team called me and told me they didn’t think it was correct and instead was a simpler and cheaper solution. They completed the repairs and are going to follow up with me to make sure it worked and they were correct. I appreciate their honesty and integrity and will bring my car back to them now.

My second visit to Champs Family Auto for an oil change on my RV. I live in NY and use them every time I come out to AZ now. The staff is friendly and professional. They get my RV done in a reasonable time to get me back on the road. The prices are very competitive and get the job done. Thank you Champs for treating me like family.

Jim along with the guys at champs automotive makes car issues a little less of a headache. I’ve brought my 97 f350 there a handful of times and have had nothing but great things to say about them. They are extremely proud of the work they do and will take care of your issues without a doubt. And if somehow they missed something there is no questions asked, they WILL make it right. Jim at the front desk is very knowledgeable, his communication is second to none and will keep you in the loop. Also, they have no Problems walking you to the back of the shop to show you what they’re seeing. Please do not waste your time with any other shop trust me you will not have issues with their work.

The shop was very friendly and informative. The nightdrop made it very easy to have my car towed the night before. The cost was expected and all the repairs were done the same day. I would definitely recommend Champs.

I’m a full time rv’r for the winter season in Surprise. I have been dealing with the “death wobble” for some time on da road. The way they describe the fix was top notch and very professional. Kept me informed and price was very close to the estimate. Great job Chamos!

Champs Repair was one of the worst repair experiences I have had. They are extremely overpriced and rude. MMy concerns involve billing accuracy, pricing transparency, insurance handling, and customer treatment. As a Black woman, I left this business feeling disrespected, singled out, and uncomfortable. The labor charges did not align with the actual time spent on the work. Champs attempted to bill my insurance company for 2 hours of labor to reinstall my dashboard, yet the work was completed in approximately 30 minutes. Parts pricing was also significantly inflated, despite my insurance allowing a 40% markup. For example, I was charged $120 for a part that retails for approximately $18, and $600 for a part that retails for approximately $200. When I requested written justification for these prices, communication became hostile. Although the requested documentation was eventually submitted, Champs attempted to charge me an additional $1,100 out of pocket beyond what my insurance later agreed to cover. Although Champs advertises that they accept insurance, they submitted a claim for less than their own estimate and then expected me to pay the difference. When I declined to pay charges that were not clearly explained or supported, they refused to complete the repairs on my RV. Based on my experience, I strongly caution consumers — particularly Black women and LGBTQ+ individuals — to find a repair shop that will do good work for a fair price without the disrespect and price gouging.

Finally found a place that doesn’t charge crazy prices for an RV oil change. Seems like when “high end” rv service companies see a Freighter Chassis, or a shiny 40 foot motorhome, they triple the cost. Their Price was reasonable, the service was professional, and on budget. I will be back.

Champs Family Automotive is absolutely amazing!! They are so nice and so helpful. They genuinely care about their clients. I have had previous work them for alignment issues after a Costco Tire Rotation and Balance a while back. Today, I called last minute because I was concerned about an issue with my tires when I saw my light indicator turned on for a second time in the last few days, thinking the first time was due to cold weather. I was worried maybe I ran over a nail. When I had called, I did not know tire repairs were not apart of their services. Although tires repair aren’t included in their services, they still took the time to help me. They wanted to ensure my safety while driving my vehicle to ensure that I am able to seek repair for the tires. They took the time to explain to me what I needed to do so I was prepared and informed about the situation. Champ and Dillion took the extra time to show me on the actual tires how and why a person would need new tires or not. Since I am novice in car maintenance, they did not make me feel like I should have been an expert or make me feel incompetent the way other repair shops can make a person feel. They were very kind to someone who always relies on their dad to fix it. Will Always come back them! Thank you for all that you do!

I came in, was greeted with a smile and asked what was needed. The person at the desk-and I hate i can't remember his name, was welcoming and eager to assist me. We setup appointment and he asked if I could leave vehicle overnight. I agreed and the next morning everything was inspected, fixed and tested. I was pleasantly pleased at the cost and expertise. I recommend Champs for quality service at a great price. Thanks folks.

I was referred to Champs by a friend who highly recommended them. My car was towed there and they were able to diagnose it, order the required parts, repair and get it back to me in a little more than 24 hours. The advisors were dressed in clean professional uniforms and were very polite and knowledgeable. I felt I was charged a fair price for the work that was done. I will definitely return in the future!
