I give zero stars if I could! I thought it may have been my trani since I had replaced my break pads a week prior to taking it to Brandons Long story short after they looked over my truck they said the pads had slipped off of the calipers.. thank God it wasent my trani after all, however 3 weeks had passed waiting for my pads and rotors to come in and still nothing and no communication from the shop. Finally the parts came in, they had the rotors put on the front wheels, I decided to pay them a visit to see how things were going..NOONE else noticed, it was me that had to tell them they had the wrong size rotors on my truck😡I told them that my truck was custom from the beginning and they couldn’t just look up parts in the system according to year make and model, but thats what they did! I asked them if they even took measurements of the rotors before ordering and they responded with, (I guess we should have) Unbelievable! Wait it gets even better, so they had to order more parts, again the parts came in and they said I could pick up truck Tuesday night.Well when I called they said we have another problem, the parking break pads crumbled in the guys hand and so that was going to have to be replaced but it will cost an extra 40 bucks, I said fine fix it, then there was another problem some bolts were rusted according to them and they were gonna have to soak them so it would be best to pick up the truck the following day, I said fine! Well the next day came, I called to see if truck was ready and they said well we have another problem😳I said what is it now??? They said your transmission is blown😡😤 My truck ran pristine before I took it to them! And not only did they say trani was blown, they gave it back to me with battery DEAD! Brand new battery was replaced 6 months prior 😡😡😡I had my truck towed back to my house because I was NOT going to have them butcher my truck any further!!!! WARNING…. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE!!! Bad customer service, bad communication skills, his workers obviously do not know what they are doing! They had my truck for a month and 1 week🤦🏻♀️and to top it all off for a total sum of $2500.00 YES $2500.00 the parts only came out to alittle less than a grand the rest was labor costs!!! RIP OFF’s! Now I have to pay another shop to look my truck over to see exactly what they did🤦🏻♀️.. sorry I guess it wasn’t a short story after all!!!

Please do not take your vehicle here. I brought my vehicle in because Tide detergent spilled in our trunk and got into the electrical system. 4 months and thousands of dollars later I finally rescued my vehicle and took it to another repair place. Spallholz repaired it in 3 weeks and $1500. I was sworn I would get a refund on the parts they ran my card for. Not only did I not get the refund, they won't provide me receipts for parts ordered or work done. When i say they won't provide me with anything. I mean anything. I've texted, I've gone inside. I'm told only Shawna can provide me with detailed work and diagnostics. OK THEN GIVE THEM TO ME!!!! They literally stole $3400 from me and won't tell me what they spent my money on. Spallholtz had to clean all the tide and replace connectors damaged. They were smoking and shorting out fuses. So Brandon's literally handed me the keys to a fire hazard after they took $3400 from me. They are thieves and have no care in the world for stealing your money or keeping your vehicle for months on end with little to no communication. STAY AWAY

Well so far the communication is trash. They hardly ever call me back when they say. The truck has been there two months and some days and still waiting. I keep getting the run around about them working on it and being top priority. I only went here cause my warranty said in network would be better and less out my pocket. From 200 deductible to 3000 and counting and still ain't fixed. Told me motor came in and was out of timing after it was put together turned out it wasn't and found another issue that cost another 600 plus and still ain't got it back yet. This is the craziest experience I've ever had with a auto place. Would give zero if available. Well I'm man enough to know when I made a mistake. One day after I had gave this review I get the call my truck was ready and the owner Brandon came out to talk to me personally and explained everything that was going on and was very specific on the details of the job. Sorry guys yall are good. The truck is running great. I'd recommend this place.

I have been taking my Jag F-type here for about 3 years now and they always take good care of me. Was a bit frustrated with how long it was taking, but Cathy and Jacob walked me through and showed me what was going on with the vehicle and I really appreciated that. Good company and good work!

We trusted Brandon’s Automotive with our truck in March 2025 and paid them close to $10,000. The promised repairs were never completed, we were told parts were ordered, but were never ordered or installed instead our money was used for other “bills” and no refund has ever been given. To make matters worse, we were told the truck would be kept inside for protection — instead, it was left outside during a hailstorm in June and was ultimately totaled. We no longer have the vehicle, but we are still out the money we paid. The only communication we’ve had has been when we showed up at their office demanding answers. Even then, we only got excuses and no real solution for when we would see our money. As of September 11, 2025, we still haven’t seen a dime nor have we had any communication of when we will get our money back. Based on our experience, we strongly advise others: do not take your vehicle here.

While this is a good shop to get auto work done price is reasonable my only complaint is it takes a very long time to get your car back. I drop my car off on March 27. Today is May 2 and I still do not have my car back. So if you have a extra car to drive while your car is being wk on then this is the shop for you if you do not have another car and you have to rent a car while your car is being worked on, I would suggest finding another shop because it takes 5 to 6 weeks to get your car back 😭Deirdre Wesley

Thanks to everyone at Brandon Auto Repair. I was moving my daughter from North Carolina to Lubbock for her new job at Texas Tech and driving an older Acura MDX to help haul her stuff. We ran into some issues once in Lubbock. The team at Brandon’s were wonderful and got us on the road quickly. The mechanic went above and beyond to make sure the car was ready for the 1500 mile trip back to NC. Although a hassle dealing with car issues while traveling, I am comforted that we found a great place for our daughter to have her car serviced in her new home.

Made an appointment to have the sway bar bushings replaced and LOF service. The service advisor kept me informed all throughout the process. They were quick, professional and knowledgeable about a very unique car. All the work was done at the quoted cost.

Brandon, Shawna and his staff are amazing. If you need your car and truck worked on take it to the. They got us in and out quickly when servicing our F250. The truck ran so smooth after it was serviced. Thank you guys for being such a great company.

I took my car here last summer for some warranty work and an AC compressor replacement. The communication was awful to start with. They kept my car for months and costed me hundreds in rental costs with little to no word as to why they were taking so long. It was always "we'll get it done this upcoming week". After paying a few thousand I felt was quite inflated I got my car back and the AC works for a couple of months. This May, I turn on my AC with the warming weather and I'm surprised to find out my AC doesn't work again. They told me that it was the high line that failed and they only replaced the low line and the compressor and I was out of luck. But they were very happy to quote me another repair. I took my car to another mechanic and he said their shoddy repair was doomed to fail as they didn't replace all of the lines and properly ensure the shards from the first failure didn't cause my new compressor to fail, as they said themselves they didn't service the entire system. So here I am spending more thousands on a fix that should have been done right the first time. Find yourself a different mechanic who respects your time, money, does the job right the first time and honors their work when it fails.

Brandon’s Auto Repair provided the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. My husband dropped off his truck on Tuesday for a simple oil and filter change, we were informed it would take a couple days. Thursday came we followed up in person and were told before 5 it would be ready. We received no call or update by that time. We later found out the business was closed Friday and Saturday due to weather and a power outage — which we understand — but no attempt was made to communicate that the vehicle was not ready. When we arrived Monday to pick up the truck and mentioned we never received a call, we were met with immediate hostility from a woman named Kathy. Instead of trying to resolve the issue calmly, she argued aggressively, insisted she had called and texted — but the number she used was incorrect, as shown on the receipt. Rather than take accountability, she escalated things by yelling at both me and my husband, and even hurled racially insensitive comments at him, saying he should “speak English,” despite the fact I was there as his translator. When I calmly asked who the owner was, she shouted from another room, “It’s Brandon, it’s on the side of the building,” with mocking and disrespectful attitude. I asked the front desk receptionist for the owner’s contact information and was told they didn’t have it. I asked for the manager, and was told she wasn’t in. This experience was not only unprofessional but deeply disrespectful and racially charged.

I don’t even know where to start but all I can say is run away from this shop as fast as you can! If we could give 0 stars we would! The communication between the “account manager” and customer is slim to none, the technicians are not anywhere near experienced and the excuses for why they still have your vehicle are endless! We put my vehicle in Dec 5th of 2023 and didn’t get it back until Feb 15th. Not only were we put out over 2 months of rental fees while they had my vehicle for an issue that should have taken a week to fix, they also put 400+ miles on my vehicle and tried to make me pay a $20 fuel charge. I refused to pay and got into my vehicle to leave with 8 miles until empty in my car when it was full in Dec when dropped off for repair! It would be different if communication was good and they were honest about not having the qualified technicians to complete the job but it wasn’t! Unfortunately after reading the reviews, we are not the only customers that had issues like we have experienced so no, we do not recommend to anyone!!!

Brandon and staff are amazing. He got our truck in and out fast. They serviced the front/rear differential, transfer case, and transmission on my F250 Tremor. The truck ran so smooth after this. They are fast, honest and reliable. Update: Brandon's still continue to exceed all expectations. Got an oil change the other day and it went great!

I got my new (to me) 2014 Lexus CT200h this past March. It had come time for the regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, overall checkup). I needed more than just a quick oil change this time (and there are some good places for that in Lubbock too). I have a road trip coming up and needed to make sure everything was in good working order. Brandon’s took good care of my car, reset the maintenance reminder message, and reached out to me on the phone every time a question arose (cabin air filter, where did I hide my special lug-nut-lock). Everyone I encountered in the shop was courteous and professional. Also, right now they are collecting toys for Toys for Tots. I have been in Lubbock almost a decade now and had trouble in the past finding participants for that program. If you would like to make a donation to Toys for Tots stop by here with a new, unwrapped toy. A discount might come with it.

Absolutely save your time, energy, and money!!! This place will confirm appointments via text 30 minutes beforehand and then be closed upon arrival. I got a lifetime warranty on my service which they came up with every bogus excuse to not honor. They are cheats basically crooks with the way their handle their business. I warn you to not do business with them and I’m not the only one, read all the reviews… car fax reviews, yelp reviews, google reviews… you will soon learn this is not the car shop to use! The worst!

Brandon's Auto Repair had my truck for THREE years, that's right three years. After spending over $8,000 dollars on the engine which was mid-diagnosed the first time, they finally got it back to me. This last problem lasted 8 months, as they got my approval to fix the 'new' problem in November of 2024. Upon picking it up, I drove it 78 miles and got stranded in Lamesa. 78 miles and now have to tow it back to this shop. Terrible, terrible!!!!! Needless to say, worst experience ever.

Almost two years ago now I lucked into a low-mileage 2014 Lexus CT200h. I figured I could always take it to the dealership for maintenance work if I wanted to be bent over a barrel, but the idea did not appeal to me in the slightest. So I found Brandon’s Auto Repair Shop here in Lubbock. They came with good reviews. They did a great job making sure my new-to-me car was good to go. My Lexus CT runs great. It is the nicest car I have ever owned. Recently it exhibited a few signs that the 12V battery was starting to slip. As best I can tell it was the original 12V battery, so I started doing research. I found the right battery through Costco at costco.com (if you are in need of a 12V battery you should look there for the Interstate batteries they sell). Now Costco does not handle battery installation these days, so I took my car back to Brandon’s to get the battery replaced. I scheduled the service with then ahead of time and I was in and out in less than an hour. And as my 2014 CT is past due timewise for some maintenance I asked for a quote. For engine coolant, hybrid inverter coolant, brake flush, and front and rear brakes the quote came back at less than $1700. That is for piece of mind for the next decade and 100,000+ miles. This is an incredibly fair price. I will get a quote from the local Toyota Dealership (a Lexus CT is a Gen 3 Prius under the body of a Corolla Hatchback) because Lexus will charge too much just for being Lexus. I have a new-to-me 2019 Honda Passport that Brandon’s will be doing the work on too. They have been honest with me; I can ask for nothing less. Brandon’s does great work for a great price. Let them work for you.
