Tried coming here 3 times. Twice was told there were no more inspections even though it was only 2:45, and a third time I showed up Friday at noon but nobody was there. The bay was open but nobody was around.

Maybe I just had bad timing but when I show up..the guys are not doing anything and people sitting around waiting because the only guy who does inspection isnt doing anything until he gets off the computer messing around and eating lunch...no thanks..I drove to Alans five minutes away and was in and out like nothing. Great guys over there..maybe a better experience would of helped but like they say.. You only get one chance to capture a customer and you didn't get me.

Terry's #2 is totally worth the drive from South Austin. Even on a Saturday morning, there was only one car ahead of me. The technician (Richard) was speedy and even complimented my 14 year old car. Made me feel so good about the whole experience. It is especially important right now to support locally-owned businesses, and this one fits the bill. *Edit - went back 2 years later and there were signs posted. The service was even faster, this is the only spot I'll go for my state inspection. Very fast and easy inspection. It was a little confusing when I first pulled up as I didn't know who to talk to, but after I mistakenly went inside I was directed to the right mechanic. The inspection was over in under 15 minutes and I was second in line.

There was a wait for other cars to finish, but it was a quick inspection. Guy was really efficient and I'll definitely be coming back! Make sure to remember they close at 3 on Saturday but if there's not too many other people there it'll go quick.

Unbelievable how efficiently, thoroughly, and carefully they churn through inspections. I have a super tricky gas cap that I forgot to open before the inspection started, but the tech deftly opened it without damaging anything (something I even struggle to do). I was in and out in *less than ten minutes*. That included her taking the time to remove my old sticker, something other shops charge for, even though she had other customers waiting.

Awesome service. I went right when they opened on a Saturday, and they got me in and out in about 15 minutes. They are courteous, professional, and they made my first inspection ever a really easy transaction. They charge 18.50 for inspection/emissions (as of 2016), which is standard.

Horrible place - fortunately there are lots of other nearby options. Was told to pull in for an inspection and after doing so was told that they were now closed - what a waste of time and will never go near again.

I booked an appointment for a state inspection at my dealership and they said it would be at least an hour. I walked up to this place and the woman who so warmly greeted me said “it’ll be done in under 10 minutes.” She was swift, friendly, and obviously experienced. Protect this woman at all costs and screw the dealership.
