Do NOT purchase an Allstate Vehicle Service Contract from Roman Babayants. I bought one from him about a year and a half ago. At the time, he was very kind and told me I could cancel it anytime and receive a refund for the unused portion. I recently sold my car and tried to contact him to cancel the contract, but he didn’t respond to my emails or phone calls for weeks. I sent many emails and made many phone calls. He replied twice asking for my car’s mileage, but he did not proceed with the cancellation. After about a month, I contacted Allstate customer service directly to cancel it. However, Allstate told me I still had to receive the refund check through Roman. I then tried to reach him again and asked him to send the check to my new address, but he never responded. I reached out to someone else at Cambridge Honda, and he told me Roman had already canceled the contract. That turned out to be false—I confirmed with Allstate and the contract was canceled only after I canceled it myself. He also said Roman had already sent the check to my old address, even though I no longer live there. In the end, I went to Cambridge Honda in person to meet Roman and get the check. I was finally able to receive it, but it was handed to me by someone else. Roman didn’t even bother to meet me or explain what happened. Overall, it took about six weeks to get the refund check from when I first emailed him, and it likely would have taken longer if I hadn’t contacted Allstate myself. To your reply: Have you really gone through all the emails carefully? It is true that I initially intended to cancel the contract at the end of January and asked about the process. However, Roman was extremely unresponsive and did not answer my questions properly. Because of this, I had to change my mind and decided to cancel the contract immediately, as I was not confident that he would respond to my emails if I reached out again later. If Roman was truly waiting to cancel the contract at the end of January, please ask him why he did not respond to my emails or phone calls even after I canceled the contract myself, why he told me that the contract had already been canceled in December (which was a complete lie) when I asked about it through another person, and why he sent the refund check to my old address even though I clearly requested that it be sent to a different address. If you are still “confused” about why I gave a one-star review, I can share the full email correspondence right here and let others judge for themselves. Please do not blame your customer for your poor service.

I used Google to visit a number of auto dealership sites in the local area. I chose Cambridge Honda based on online information, and indicated an interest by email in a particular Honda CR-V that they had in stock. I quickly heard back from Mike Carroll on their staff, and arranged a visit for a test drive. Mike was thoroughly professional as we went through the demo and the following discussion of pricing. I traded in a Toyota Tacoma pickup and they offered a fair trade-in price for that. We agreed on a price and he then passed me on to the finance people to finalize the paperwork. Several additional options were offerred, but without the strong pressure I have experienced in the past at several car dealerships. I bought the car, and they were happy to accept a cashier's check for the outstanding balance. Totally professional; polite and cheerful staff; overall a pleasant buying experience. Highly recommended.

I had a great experience with Honda Cambridge customer service today. Initially, I wasn’t very happy because I had prepaid for oil changes that I did not realize expired. I don’t think that if you prepay that they should expire and I have done oil changes when the vehicle prompts me to do so. But, that is not the fault of the customer service rep. He said that he could not override the system. So buyer beware. Aside from that annoyance, the rep was great. Friendly and helpful. I had dropped my key fob and it had disintegrated into a bunch of tiny pieces. I was sure I would have to replace it, but I still brought all the pieces in a Ziploc baggie, and the Customer rep had one of his guys reassemble the key fob. I don’t know how they got all those tiny pieces back in place but they saved me from having to purchase a new fob, which costs $300+. And, in addition, when I asked him to replace the battery in my backup fob, he did so immediately. I provided the battery.

I only had to wait for a little bit over an hour to get my service done. I think that was very very nice of them to accommodate me at such a short notice, I appreciated everything everything checked out.
