The job was done fast and wrong. I never even got my paperwork that day. I called because of the problem at 7am and I didn't get a call back until after 4pm. I explained what happened to the person she found the person that helped me and she said she was going to transfer me to her and it rang a few time and went to the message box. Step 1 all over again. I left another detailed message of what happened and my name and number but I never got a call back its been alsmot a week and now is 8:30pm my car won't start and I have to call AAA. Worst experience ever and even worst customer service.

Edit of Original Review: Update to original review. The people at Caruso are actually really lovely. Cassandra in service is extremely professional, even with a ticked off client. The service itself is not what I would expect as is detailed in my original review, but the people are actually very good. Cassandra escalated my discontent to the service director who called and certainly tried to make things right. They're still working on that part. They sent Richie to my work to pick up the vehicle and take it back in to fix the TMPS issue. Richie is also just a lovely person. I am extremely frustrated with the repeated issues with the vehicle, but the people at Caruso are actually excellent and should be recognized as such. Original Review: Purchased a CPO vehicle from Caruso Ford. 2020 Explorer, only 14,XXX miles on it. Good deal on the vehicle. I paid the asking price. The vehicle had constant sensor problems. The dash would light up like a Christmas tree every time you started it telling you every sensor in the vehicle had a fault. Cross traffic system fault, reverse brake assist fault, blind spot sensor fault, headlamp sensor fault. You clear the faults on the dash and they pop up constantly while you're driving. Took it in for repairs - was told all sensors were "replaced" but the service records show they were repositioned and tested. Problems persist. Vehicle starts hard shifting into reverse. Every time you go from park to reverse it thunks like it's dropping the transmission in the driveway. Took it in and said the sensors are still going haywire and the transmission is acting up. They tell me that they think the sensors are an issue with a door repair from a side swipe. I tell them I'll have the shop look at it but fix the tranny. The do a complete "overhaul" of the transmission and 2 weeks later, I get it back. Surprisingly, the sensor issue is no more but 45 days later, it's hard shifting into reverse again and now the tire pressure sensor has a fault. I take it in. 35 days they had the vehicle. 35 days of me following up every week because they don't call with updates. They do a complete transmission overhaul AGAIN. I get it back and the same day I get it back - tire pressure sensor fault AGAIN. Insane. The sales experience was fine, though they sold me a lemon. Atef in the financing department is fabulous. That guy is just the best. Service is terrible.

I was really impressed with the Ford Caruso employee who helped me with servicing my blue Ford Maverick. I took the vehicle for an oil change and air filter replacement. We had our Ford Edge Titanium serviced here ! Jay took care of us ! As well as Chris ! They even showed us some things on Recall on our Ford Edge, plus fixed it (replaced it !) They washed the car & it was super clean inside ! They placed the paper & plastic bags to protect the driver's seat ! All around great job !

Was left without a rental and my car 3 times. I was given false information on multiple accounts and when I complained I was told the employees are “new” and that I wouldn’t be the first to complain about service. Was told any ford dealership would have the same crap service/communication. I was called the day prior to drop off my car for the recall issue and when I went they had no rentals. They didnt bother to say that over the phone though. I was told the recall would take 2-3 days to fix but the day of drop off they said the receptionists don’t know how things work and its actually 2-3 weeks. A month goes by and no calls about my car. Turns out it’s been sitting and waiting for parts to get in. They also call last minute to tell you the car is ready for pick up and you gotta pay the rental for anytime after that day.

I had an appointment with Lincoln caruso service department and my initial experience with the service advisor, Sherri Atkins was horrible. She made me feel unwelcome. I left there, not wanting to continue with my appointment however I contacted the Ford service department and I spoke to Jay and I explained to him my negative experience with Sherri and he took it upon himself to make me feel welcomed. He was very accommodating to my schedule and coordinated a pick up and delivery of my vehicle at work. He went above and beyond to make sure that I got the service that I needed. He also put me in contact with the service manager, Shannon, who also listened to my concerns and was very apologetic for the negative experience that I had received from Sherri.

Francisco, Julie & David were absolutely fantastic! Francisco is the kind of person you’d send your Grandmother to and not think twice about it, Julie is the expert on anything Ford or Lincoln, and David’s ability to make the figures work is like none other. I was 50% sure I was going to make a purchase somewhere in the next couple of weeks. 5 minutes after meeting Francisco & David I was 75% convinced I would buy from Caruso Ford, after meeting Julie, the deal was essentially sealed! Together they are something special they took their time to help me understand the feature and benefits of my new MachE, they weren’t the “stereotypical” car salespeople- with high pressure tactics, tricks or anything. Just a group of good people earning an honest living helping people- true professionals in every sense. Like them or not the Caruso family knows how to build winning teams and I am so fortunate to have had the experience and will with out hesitation recommend Francisco, Julie, David and the rest of the Caruso Ford staff to my friends and family. Less important but worth mentioning the dealership is clean, well lit, welcoming, and even felt a little luxurious. I purchased a vehicle after it was represented as Certified Pre-Owned, and I relied on that representation in making my decision. After five repair attempts for persistent mechanical defects that were never fully resolved, this dealership ultimately refused further repair. At that point, I retained legal counsel. During that review, it was discovered the vehicle had never actually been enrolled in the manufacturer’s Certified Pre-Owned program, despite being represented that way at the time of sale. I was also presented with different documentation after the fact. This situation has resulted in loss of vehicle equity, legal expenses, and significant stress. I would not have purchased this vehicle had I known it was not truly certified. Certification status has major implications for warranty rights and consumer protection options in California, which is why independent verification is critical before purchasing. Before buying a certified used vehicle, research “Certified Used Car Scams California,” verify certification directly with the manufacturer using the VIN, and obtain written proof of enrollment in the official CPO program before signing any contract. Do not rely solely on dealership advertising. This experience has completely eroded my trust in the dealership and in Ford Motor Company. I will not be returning. Buyer beware.

I had an excellent experience at Ford Caruso thanks to Robyn. She helped me get my car fixed promptly and efficiently. Her customer service was outstanding. Robyn was patient honest and very thoughtful throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed. Please consider other… Last night I ordered some parts on will call with Nate, I came in today. They were never on will call. Our shops currently have a $500k wip, we were looking to even create a wholesale account. We have 8 stores, we have our resale information via pdf from our CFO. (As a company we don’t just carry copies) Which they could not take. Glad we didn’t create an account. Wasting my time. Customer service does not exist here, parts department is all over the place. Wouldn’t recommend this dealer for parts or car purchase.

Caruso ford service was excellent! I live in Cerritos and have Nirm reeves ford 5 minutes from my house but I chose to bring my vehicle all the way to Caruso ford in Long Beach because the go the extra mile to take care of me. It’s the fastest check in I have ever experience at any dealership. They do their best to get the job done right. Shannon the service director is a stand up guy and sticks to his word and goes out of his way to make the vehicle service correctly. Also Jay one of the service advisors is excellent as well. Always keeps me updated and does his best to check in me in and find me a shuttle ride quick as possible! Attached are my 2024 ranger raptor they have been service the past year and half.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at Caruso Ford, especially with the lack of accountability and professionalism from Assistant Sales Manager Saleem Nayfah. I placed a deposit on a brand-new 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and was told I’d have to wait until a recall was fixed before I could take delivery. After a couple of weeks, I was informed by Jorge Navarro that the car was ready. Since I was out of the country, I told them I’d pick it up at the end of the week, and they assured me the car would be detailed and ready. When I arrived for pickup, the car wasn’t ready — it still had visible scratches and issues with the dealer alarm. Because I had to return home for work, I left the car there and they agreed to arrange delivery. Ten minutes after leaving, I got a call saying the car was “ready,” which was already concerning. When the car was delivered to me, I immediately noticed swirl marks, scratches, and water spots. I contacted Saleem, who admitted they hadn’t done a proper job and agreed to have the car polished and corrected. I had to pay out of pocket to have my car towed both ways — something the dealership never offered to cover. After their “correction,” my detailer pointed out that the scratches were only polished over, not actually removed. Even the body shop manager admitted the car should never have left the dealership in that condition. I was then told to send it back again for them to “try” to fix it, but without any warranty or guarantee. In the end, I had to pay $350 out of pocket to have the scratches properly corrected by a professional before my XPEL wrap installation. When I sent the invoice to Saleem hoping for reimbursement, he flatly refused. This entire experience has been unprofessional and disappointing from start to finish. A brand-new vehicle should not require this kind of back-and-forth or out-of-pocket expense just to fix dealership mistakes. Caruso Ford and Saleem Nayfah failed to take proper care of a customer who trusted them with a high-end purchase. I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a vehicle from Caruso Ford — especially if you expect honesty, accountability, and real customer service.

Yes, the dealer asked me to write a good review and super happy to do it. Dream situation here. Got the Bronco I wanted and the Caruso staff (and Richard Presley in particular) made the process so easy. Very communicative where other dealers played games. I asked for best offer and unlike other dealers, I got it right off the bat. I checked around of course, but nobody beat Caruso. They stayed late and Richard explained everything down to advice on each personal settings on the Ford OS. We needed security to open the gate I was there so late. Highly recommend.
