I recently moved here and had my very first state inspection at Christian Brothers Automotive in Allen (1713 N Greenville Ave). The experience was absolutely outstanding! From the moment I walked in, the staff was extremely welcoming — they offered me drinks, even a piece of pie, and made me feel right at home. The inspection itself was quick and efficient, and the gentleman at the counter was very polite and kind. To my surprise, he told me the inspection was “on them.” That small gesture truly made my day. Coming from another country, I was blown away by the level of hospitality and genuine care I experienced here. After just one visit, I can confidently say this is my go-to place for all my automotive needs. They truly know how to earn a customer’s trust and loyalty. Highly recommended!

My husband and I will NEVER use them again! My husband took in our vehicle 4x ONLY to have the same problem over and over! The last time we took it here, our vehicle broke down THE NEXT DAY! It would be nice if we could've gotten our money back, but I'm convinced they "fix" vehicles to make them break down again so you keep bringing them back. Do yourself a favor and learn from our experience before you waste money like us!!

The team @ Christian Brothers really stepped up. On Thursday morning, I drove to the East Plano location for a 7 am appointment, to find out the store had a fire overnight and would be closed for weeks. I was immediately referred over to the Allen store. The team in Allen welcomed me in and immediately took in my vehicle. I was treated the way you would treat family - offered coffee, water, a ride home. I now realize that Christian Brothers is the 'Chic-fil-A' of automotive services! I mean this as a high complement. The team here greet each other with a welcome hug, something you don't see most anywhere and yet another sign they truly care for each other! Thank you Allen team! I will be back!

Absolutely stellar! I took my 2014 F150 230K miles in for much needed repairs. Staff is honest, friendly and informative. Mechanical work excellent. Pictures were provided for each needed repair. Runs like new. If I ever need work done again I will return to Christian Brothers - Allen.

The staff here are very friendly and helpful. Waiting room was nice and clean. The reason that they are rated four stars instead of five is due to the issues I encountered while trying to install fog lamps with them. They quoted me over $400 to install two fog lamps, and told me that they had to remove the bumper in order to do the install. This is not correct, and I believe they stated they needed to remove the bumper in order to pad their labor costs and charge more for the service. I provided them the schematics and directions for the install showing that the bumper did not need to be removed; however they were adamant that it did need to be removed. I went to several garages thereafter, all who have which told me they could do the install without removing the bumper, and all but one quoted me a far lower price than Christian Brothers. In fact the other prices, with exception of one garage, we're more than $100 cheaper than Christian Brothers. With a name like Christian Brothers, I would expect they would be able to carry out customer requests without the need to pad their fees. Apart from this issue, I thought the shop was well kept and the staff was helpful and friendly.

As a first-time customer at Christian Brothers, I am truly impressed. From start to finish, their service went above and beyond anything I expected. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. The facility itself is clean, organized, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Their customer service, both over the phone and in person was exceptional. Every interaction felt genuine and caring. I also took advantage of their shuttle service, which was incredibly convenient and just another example of how they go the extra mile for their customers. I usually stick to the dealership because of the level of service I’m used to, but Christian Brothers has completely changed my perspective on going outside of a dealership for maintenance. They’ve earned my trust, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for quality service done with integrity.

The warmth and kindness at this shop are real — you feel it the moment you walk in. Everyone was welcoming, honest, and straight-up. The atmosphere is filled with integrity, and I genuinely loved seeing the Bibles and God-loving environment. It speaks volumes about how they run their business. I had my car checked and fixed at Christian Brothers Automotive, and I was really impressed with the service. The people were kind and professional, and they responded quickly. They fixed the problem fast and never made me feel pressured to do anything extra. Kris and the GM Josiah were both really helpful. I came here for an emissions test for my vehicle registration and it was quick, simple and easy. All I needed for the emissions test was my insurance and driver’s license. They not only got me taken care of, but my service was also freee. They said my emissions test was taken care of due to something new they were trying. This location has WiFi and a small seating area to work if you need to. Everything is very clean and very tidy in this office. I would highly recommend this location due to their professionalism, their courtesy as well as the phenomenal service.

When a routine transmission fluid flush at Christian Brothers Automotive unfortunately resulted in damage to my transmission, the team immediately took full ownership of the issue—no excuses, no finger-pointing. They accepted complete responsibility and replaced the entire transmission with a brand-new unit sourced directly from the manufacturer, then professionally installed it—all at absolutely no cost to me. What truly stood out was the level of transparency and genuine professionalism throughout the entire process. From the moment the problem was identified, they communicated clearly, kept me informed every step of the way, and treated me with respect and care even to the extent of explaining which tools were used and how the failure came about. We concluded this ordeal with the decision that the malfunctioning equipment would be replaced with other methods that they have seen used reliably for many years. Their willingness to make it right without hesitation built an enormous amount of trust. This experience has completely changed how I view auto repair shops. Dealership service departments often leave you feeling dismissed or pressured, while charging significantly more—even for basic maintenance. Large franchise chains might offer slightly lower prices on the surface, but I’ve had disappointing experiences there too, including one where a simple air filter was installed sideways and crushed by careless workmanship. In contrast, Christian Brothers Automotive delivered exceptional accountability, honesty, and customer-first service. After this, I wouldn’t feel comfortable taking my vehicle anywhere else. If you’re looking for a mechanic who truly stands behind their work and treats you like a neighbor rather than just another ticket, I highly recommend them.

I’d heard good things about them, and it was a convenient location to get my state inspection done. Their website even has the option for you to schedule an appointment time specifically for just a state inspection. I arrived early to my appointment, and there was one other customer in the waiting area. The staff member who checked me in was pleasant and asked if I wanted to add a car wash, which I declined. Then they asked if I needed a ride somewhere, because inspections are first come first served and it was going to be at least a 1.5 hr wait. I declined and drove out to my usual shop instead, which had me in and out in under 10 min. I’m sure the warm chocolate chip cookies that other reviews have mentioned are nice, but that’s not what I’m looking for in a mechanic.

Best mechanic hands down! I normally look for Mom and Pop shops because I tend to trust them more, but I am blown away at the quality of service at Christian Brothers Automotive in Allen! They truly take customer service to a whole new level. From the moment my young son and I walked in we were warmly greeted and checked in. Everyone made friendly conversation and lovingly embraced my 6 year old son and all his talkativeness. I was given deep care and transparent quotes on all pricing and scope of service from beginning to end. They even gave us a ride home so my baby didn't have to be bored out of his mind while we waited on the car. They took detailed pictures and notes of their thorough inspection of our car, and I was beyond grateful. Normally I am super annoyed and turned off when mechanics find more than they need to find for a simple oil change. Far too often mechanics try to upcharge you and get you worried about 10,000 different things in the car, jacking the price up higher unnecessarily, but not with CBA. They helped talked me through everything in a way I could understand and did not pressure me at all. My SUV has been in 2 accidents this year and they found things that was in my best interest to address to keep my car safe and running strong, and helped me understand what waiting could cause and how long I roughly could wait. I will never go anywhere else and I cannot recommend them more! They far exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful to have a mechanic I can trust, that will pray with me, and go beyond the call of duty to fully deliver for me as a customer.
