I’ve had a mixed experience with this dealership. The service department has been professional and helpful. However, my experience with the sales department was less positive. When I purchased my Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, I was provided a CARFAX report by the sales representative. The copy I received did not disclose that the vehicle’s turbo had previously been replaced/repaired. Had I been aware of that repair history, I would not have moved forward with the purchase. A few days later, I obtained my own CARFAX report directly, and on the final page it documented that the turbo had in fact been repaired or replaced. This may have been an oversight, but the omission was concerning. Approximately 3,000 miles after purchase, I brought the vehicle in for a routine oil change. During that visit, several additional services were recommended, including a brake fluid flush, coolant flush, transmission flush, and heater core flush. One additional concern I have relates to the meaning of “Certified Pre-Owned.” My understanding is that a CPO vehicle has undergone a comprehensive inspection and reconditioning process to ensure it meets manufacturer standards. Because of that, I would not expect significant prior repairs such as a turbo replacement to be undisclosed at the time of sale, nor would I expect numerous maintenance services to be recommended only 3,000 miles after purchase. If a vehicle is truly certified, buyers should be able to rely on the transparency of its history and have confidence that major components and maintenance needs have been properly addressed and communicated upfront. Experiences like this make it difficult to understand what the certification designation actually represents in practice. Overall, the service team has treated me well, but I would advise prospective buyers to independently verify vehicle history and maintenance recommendations when working with the sales side of the dealership.

I don’t usually leave reviews on anything, but Clear Lake Nissan has proven itself time and time again. I purchased my Nissan Rogue here. I live in Dallas but I travel down here sometimes. I always make sure to get my service done at Clear Lake Nissan when I’m in the area. I have tried many Nissan dealerships, but none match the service that is provided at Clear Lake. From buying my car to coming for routine services, it’s always a pleasure at Clear Lake Nissan. I’ve worked with many service advisors here, including Jennifer, Cory, and Travis. Jennifer was my advisor last year when I was having issues with my engine after Nissan of Irving in DFW messed with it, she explained and communicated everything and made sure everything went smoothly, she was delightful to work with (I worked with her early last year and I still remember her because the service she provided was incredible! I recently visited the Service Center with a car that I had just purchased at the beginning of the year. My service advisor Ernesto was very knowledgeable. He kept me informed on what was going on with my vehicle throughout my visit. When the service was complete, he took time to explain the warranty/service contract that I had purchased with my vehicle in great detail in a way that I could actually understand.
