I was searching for reliable car mechanic for quite sometime. Somehow found them on google and decided to give them try after reading all reviews. Highly recommended repair shop. They are very fairly priced and communicate with the customer on the services needed and price estimates. Have taken my vehicles here over the past several years and will continue to do so if a service or repair is needed. They also will work with your warranty company if your vehicle is under warranty. You can also call in advance to make an appointment for service. I recommended this shop to my friends.

Jason and his staff are wonderful! Had a flat tire and Jason gave me knowledge about taking better care when I do have a flat so I wouldn’t ruin my new tires. He took care of me quickly and it was extremely inexpensive. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and the experience was professional and total care about the customer. Jason the manager/owner went above and beyond to fix my brakes . They turned out to be more of a problem but he was able to get them repaired. He communicated throughout and was fair and honest. It took longer than he or I anticipated but he fixed them plus underlying issue. Great place to get car repairs - honest, fair and priced right.

I rarely issue reviews but in the case of CMC I feel I must. Jason and his crew have been taking care of my vehicles for 8 years and I can't say enough good things about them. They are fair, reasonable, timely, and very thorough. But yesterday took the cake. I had a brake job done and on way home it started making a loud noise on the drivers side of car. It was late in day and I live out in the sticks. With the approaching holiday I thought I might not get it addressed until next week. Jason and one of his team actually drove to my place after they closed the shop for the day and quickly addressed the issue (a plate had bent toward wheel) and fixed it on the spot in my driveway! I have never had somebody do that for me. These guys are the best!

Brought my car in after being recommended this shop. My car had been stalling as I was driving it for a little whole, which was stressing me out. Talked to one of the mechanics when I dropped it off and they were kind. Price, customer service, and communication were great overall. Car runs well now! I really don't write reviews, but I'm incredibly thankful for the people who did because that's why I took my vehicle here. I took it in thinking I knew the problem, and Jason and his crew were incredibly honest - could've easily charged me much more for what I thought the issue was. I do most of the work myself on my vehicles. So when the AC system in my 03 Ford Escape sprung a leak I fixed it myself. Recharging the empty system, however, required equipment I couldn't find to rent, So I checked the BBB website and called CMC and a couple other shops. CMC had the best price. When I got there, they immediately put it on a vacuum pump for about 45 minutes and then put 2 pounds of refrigerant in. I brought it in at 9am and they were finished by 10:30am. The problem was fixed promptly, the price was reasonable and the people were friendly. What more can you ask for?

We have been here a few times now for our vehicles and they seem very reliable. My husband had an issue with his starter or at least we thought because it was having issues with not starting but they checked it out and just put it back together and started it and it ran. They could have easily just replaced the starter and charged us for it but they were honest!

Called them up on a Thursday and told them about the issues I was having with my 18 year old car. Dropped it off and left it there. They called around 9:30am on Friday and told me the fixes the car needed. Gave me the total. They called around 3pm and let me know the car was ready. Reasonable prices, work was performed in a tinely fashion and car issues were fixed (a/c blowing hot and cracked radiator). Picked up car around 4:30pm on Friday. Will be switching my routine car maintenance from an annoying dealer (BRN) to this shop. Down to earth and up front. Not a lot of shops around like this one. They have earned a new customer. short version: The epitome of a family owned business that prides themselves on taking care of the customer. I was buying a used but expensive truck in Sanford and I live 2 hours away in Satellite Beach. I wanted to have the truck inspected before I committed to the purchase. I googled "mechanic Sanford FL" and CMC was one of the hits with 100% 5 star reviews. I called and Jason answered and he said he could get me in no problem that afternoon. I ended up getting held up at the dealership (imagine that) and Jason still made sure he got me into the shop for the inspection late afternoon on a Friday. And, at an extremely reasonable price too by the way. They test drove it, put on a lift, let me get under it so I could get a look and did a full inspection and provided all the paperwork. In the hour I was there, I learned they are a true family owned father and son business. Really a refreshing thing to see these days. It was a pretty old school place with newspaper clippings on the walls, hand written signs etc. My kind of place. I found a needle in a haystack here, got some great peace of mind for 70 bucks and oh yea the best part...the minor things they found got me 300 more dollars off the truck price!!!

I had some issues with my transmission slipping a little. I had went to another place I caught lying to me about what needed to be done after they said they changed my fluid. I then started searching for an honest mechanic. What I 1st found was a bunch that charged an outrageous inspection fee from $150 to over $250. I was discouraged until a friend recommended CMC. From the very beginning they were up front and honest and their inspection fee was very reasonable to diagnose my problem. After their diagnoses they explained what my problem was and gave me a price that was fair to fix it. They kept me updated the entire process. My car now runs great. They fixed the issue before it cost me my Transmission. Water was leaking into my transmission from the transmission cooler and filter. Now it is running great thanks to Jason and his team at CMC Automotive. They got a customer for life and I'll refer them any chance I get. They have honesty and integrity, two things that are hard to find these days.
