For years, every time I come here it’s always a great experience. I don’t have to worry about being taken advantage of. It seems like every employee has a good head on their shoulders & they know what they are doing! As a female, unfortunately I’ve been to so many places where people try to take advantage of me like getting overcharged or having to come back because the job isn’t done correctly in the first place, telling me one thing and it being another etc. . . This has never happened here. God bless you guys!

I was traveling on the Auto Train last week, unfortunately my car was to low to board the train I was recommended by Amtrak staff to go over to A-1. I had a great conversation and spoke about life with the owner haven’t had such good experience like that in a long time . I highly recommend and appreciate all your hard work. These guys are competent mechanics and affordably priced, but it often takes them more than a week to get to a job. You'll have to factor in the cost of a rental car or ūber unless you have access to an alternate vehicle.

I had an emergency trying to get on the auto train. My car was too wide. I went to Junior shop within 11 minutes. He had a technician out, remove the inner trim panel on the passenger side door and took off the mirror for us. What great service I own two auto repair businesses and I would highly recommend this guy to anyone that ever needs work.

dropped my car off here at 9am to replace breaks. came after work around 5pm to my car (with no hood) sitting in the rain. I ask why it’s sitting in the rain and not under cover and they said they moved it when the breaks on the car didn’t fit. so they had my car over 8 hours with no work done to it. check out my car and there was no gas and oil all over my engine and windshield like they were revving my car and doing 2 step. so no work done and they got a little joy ride. when I pulled up all the workers were off to the side smoking while the “manager“ was on his phone so loud he didn’t even see me walk up. owner is always on “vacation”. manager lies and says he doesnt have way to contact owner but come to find out he’s the son of the owner. super unprofessional. I had work don’t here before and no problems when the owner is there watching. Definitely won’t be coming back after this incident.

I made an appointment on 8/8 for 8/9 at 2:00. I told them what I needed in the size of my tires and that I had to have it on 8/9 for a trip on 8/10. When I arrived, after a few minutes, they told me they didn't have the tires. This is unacceptable. If they did not have the tires, they should have told me when I called to make the appointment. Very unprofessional. I will never go there again and I'm going to tell all of my people to never go there and waste their time!

Very nice people. I tried every tire shop around and they were busy on a rainy day today(September 3rd), and Junior was able to get me in really fast. I went to a "trusted" mechanic because I had a screw in my tire and was told that it couldn't be repaired, then was told I would have to get a brand new set for $1200.00! On a recommendation, I called A-1 and was told to bring it in as soon as I could. I expected to buy 2 used tires, but once they looked at it, they told me it could be repaired. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful and I was in and out of there in less than an hour, without an appointment, and for less than $27.00! I highly recommend checking out A-1. I will absolutely be back.
