TOP NOTCH AUTO CENTER!!!! They will shoot you straight and get the work done at a great price and they will get it done RIGHT!!! They are not like every other auto shop in town that will try and up-sale you to make more money.. Coastal Carolina Tire & Auto - and their towing recommendation, Twilight Towing - took great care of my CCU daughter when she broke down off 501. They had the car towed (after hours), fixed (with a new alternator & brakes) and back on the road in a total of 5 hours! Outstanding service and fair pricing! Highly recommend!

I feel very lucky to know about this hidden gem. This is the ONLY place in my entire life that I've ever experienced honest and trustworthy mechanics. They're extremely knowlegable about all makes and models of cars, old and new. The owner really cares about you and your car and actually gets his hands dirty because he knows what he's doing. Myself and at least 20 others that I know have been using their services for the past 10 years+ with 100% satisfaction. This might sound like a paid review which is partially true because they pay me with their amazing service every time I need them. If you take your car anywhere else for service or tires you should have you head examined.

Coastal Carolina was recommended by a friend for a Noisy/clunky driveshaft on my 2017 Toyota 4Runner, after another repair shop in town had “repaired” it, but failed to totally resolve the issue. The owner, Jarhett, did some sleuthing and discovered the first shop had mangled the driveshaft when replacing the U-joints, and unfortunately the entire driveshaft had to be replaced. Super impressed by his mechanic’s knowledge and experience - and appreciate how quickly he diagnosed the problem and got me back on the road at an affordable price! It’s great to see a real technical mechanic in this day of repair shops simply throwing new parts at the problem until it goes away, Thanks Jarhett!
