I worked shore duty at the Naval Station and had a few projects I needed to do an interior on. Jake was more than helpful on allowing me to learn how to do upholstery basics for my rigs and it helped me trim down my cost as I was working on a fixed budget at the time. The crew has done many cars, trucks and other odds and ends at the shop, you swore it was factory work. The guys pride themselves on their quality of work and should any issues arise during work on the vehicle, they go out of their way to contact the owner to discuss details. He also does things for customers all over the country if you're into squarebody trucks. The only guy that can recover a dash that looks as good as it did when it left the factory, and no one has done anything like that at all, aftermarket included.

I was referred to Jake by a friend when I was looking for someone to recover my front seats for my car. He was very professional, and knowledgeable, and he matched up the seats perfectly to the backseat that I had had recovered years ago. Created a custom headliner to match seats and finished with creative shift boot to complete the amazing interior . Jake and his crew did an awesome job on our 1955 Chevy restomod. Corbin Custom Upholstery created a motorcycle seat for a bike I recently built. There was no OEM part to fit to or use as a pattern. I had manufactured the cowling and seat-pan myself. Went there to have them look at the leather seat bottom of a car that a very heavy old school tv sitting on the back seat bottom that put indents on the leather upholstery. The owner took a quick look then told me to pull up the garage door. When the door opened he had a steam machine set up and steaming away; he applied steam to all the intends and they went away. It only took him a few minutes. After he finished he told me to take a look around his shop and check out some of the jobs they are working on. The projects were anywhere from a stock interior repair to a totally custom full interior. Each project was top quality. I can say that when interior projects come up in my life I will be using Corbin Custom Upholstery!
