I was incredibly shocked by the final cost. My fault entirely for not asking more questions. I thought the air filter change was included but it was actually $35 I could have changed it myself for $10. Also, when giving me the oil type options, I wish regular oil would have been mentioned because that’s what I would have chosen. I went in thinking I was going to pay $69+ tax because of the $10 coupon but it ended up being $121. So $50 more than I had budgeted for. Lesson learned. Everyone was very nice though and I’ll be going back for my next oil change… But better prepared with what I actually want done.

They walked me through the process, answered my questions clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable with the service being done. The team worked quickly but didn’t cut corners—everything was done thoroughly and with care. I also appreciated how they checked other key areas of my car and gave honest recommendations without being pushy. The waiting area was clean, and I was in and out in no time. Came by today to get my oil changed. They were fast, professional, and kind. I mostly interacted with 2 guys, Matt and a guy with some neck tattoos (sorry, I didnt catch his name!). Both were super nice. I mostly talked to Matt, though, and he went above and beyond to make sure I got everything I needed.

Oil change was great until they pushed to change an O2 sensor in my car. I'd been fine without it for years, but they insisted. They changed the part and the engine light went away. It was an additional 300 service that lasted about a day. I move across the state and by the time I got into town the engine light was back on. Now I'm down 300 and my check engine light is back on reading the same code they pushed me to fix.

Got my oil change done with my Lexus here, and when I went to turn my car back on a bunch of lights flickered and came on my dash. My car wouldn’t start. It really stressed me out. They told me I left my lights on but I didn’t. A employee jumped my car to get it out of the bay and it started. My check engine light came on with another light. This was not my doing. They had to of touched a wire or fuse or did something. My car threw a bunch of codes out. They handed me my 122$ receipt, I have takin my car there many times , but this time was awful!

The Manager MJ at this location truly went above and beyond. He listened, he cared and made sure when leaving we were happy and would want to return after a very shitty experience at the JL in Lake Stevens!!! MJ and his team, are amazing!! Highly recommend going to this JL location even if it’s a tad bit more of a drive, they will not let you leave feeling unhappy. :) MJ, thank you again for being so amazing and making us want to return!! You were great!

Good and fast service as always. I’m also very comfortable waiting in my car, and I like the new way of getting the oil change done while you stay inside. It might be a little tricky for elderly or very young drivers, though. The only downside is that oil changes are pretty pricey these days—I wish I knew how to do it myself.
