I work near Darryl and have never seen the Gentleman Mr Routh. I know him personally and he would always make the customer happy and do what was needed. I think Mr. Routh has him confused with another Cox Auto.

I went in with a broke belt which ended up locking up my compressor. They fixed all of that and in a timely manner and reasonable price, however, they said they accidentally over charged the Freon they put in and now my air conditioning doesn’t work. In order to fix their mistake, I would need to pay extra to have it fixed. I understand it’s a business and money needs to be made, however, if something gets broken in the process of fixing something else then that is their fault and should be fixed by them without charging the customer. Now it’s 90° outside and my air condition unit blows out hot air instead of cool air

Darryl is an experienced mechanic and a completely straight shooter when it comes to what needs to be done and your options to proceed. He'll have a recommended path and will talk thru alternatives including letting me order the parts and he installs them! I would highly recommend him, especially for Acura or Honda work. Chris was great! I recently purchased a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I did a bit of driving over the holidays (1200+ miles within three weeks). The center support bearing on my driveshaft wore out and caused a very loud clunking noise. I took it to one shop and they quoted me at $1200 and 9 hours worth of work. I did some research, found a aftermarket part, and brought it to Chris on a Tuesday night. Chris had it ready for me the next day by noon! Great Guy, Great Shop!

This is an excellent spot to have your car repaired by a trustworthy mechanic. One of my employees received a $1500 quote from another shop for her car's repair, which left her in tears when she arrived at work. I provided her with Cox Auto's contact information, and they managed to fix her vehicle on the same day for only $600. I've been a loyal customer of Cox Auto for years, consistently receiving prompt and satisfactory service at competitive prices whenever I've needed my car repaired there.
