My brother and I have been going here for over 15 years. It's out of my way but well worth it. Labor rate is very reasonable and they usually can get me in the same day or next. They only fix what's broken without all the unnecessary parts, work and high-pressure sales tactics you get at dealers and glorified tire shops. If there are money saving options, they'll tell you, even if that means sending you to another shop. They offer just about any type of automotive service, but in the off chance you need a highly specialized service they can't provide, they'll tell you where to take your vehicle. This truly is your friendly, trustworthy neighborhood mechanic.

First of all, the price per hour is very reasonable at $85 per hour. Second, the mechanics went above and beyond diagnosing my engine issue of a check engine light. They listened to my concerns, explained in detail the engine diagnosis they did and it runs beautifully! The repairs were done in a timely fashion! I wasn't able to drop the car off when they were there and when I called they listened to my concerns. Awesome job!

I've been bringing my cars here for 8 years, and my dad has been coming here for two decades. Ray is a great mechanic, very smart, and doesn't upsell/give you any bs excuses for why your stuff isn't working. He will tell you exactly what you need to get rolling, and offer great advice even if you want to work on your car yourself. He's the most honest mechanic I've had the pleasure of dealing with and would recommend his service to anyone.

Dave and Rays customer service goes beyond all expectations. They did not try to upsell me anything I did not ask for. I asked for an oil change and to check out a noise I had in Front end of my 2002 GMC. They got me in promptly the very next day, in a brief time in the morning Ray called with a diagnosis and cost. It was a wheel bearing in the front, I asked if they could preform services that same day to which Ray replied "Yes" Later that morning, Ray called with final price and truck was completed, as I am a preventive repair guy, I asked if they could replace other side wheel bearing, and Ray again said they could and still get truck done that day. IA few days later I get a follow up from Rayon how the repairs and my experience with them went, it was fantastic!! from the reasonable priced parts and labor to the outstanding customer service! I will always take my repairs to Dave and Rays and advise any one reading this to do the same. Thanks Wayne Latner, Happy and satisfied customer!!

These guys are good and prompt. I tried them for the 1st time recently. Told them I wasn't sure how many wheel bearings I needed replaced and they looked into it for me. My experience at Dave and Ray’s Complete Auto was fantastic and they definitely earned my business going forward! The shifter cable bushing on my pickup disintegrated and I thought I could just go pick a new one up at O’Reilly’s, pop it back into place and be on my merry way. Man, was I wrong... Long story short, I was able to rig it up and limp it into Dave & Ray’s lot on a Friday. Initially, they were booked up thru the following Wednesday, but they were able to get to it right away on Monday and I picked it up that afternoon. They fixed my shifter cable AND the door handle I ripped off in the process of trying to fix it myself for a very fair price (1/2 of what 2 different GM dealers quoted just for the shifter cable issue). Ray was efficient, professional and took great care of me for a reasonable price that didn’t break the bank. I will take my own vehicles back there in a heartbeat and highly recommend them to all my friends!

I only go to this guy, when I have an issue with my vehicle. Shop on Q street. I have been there a few times. One big job. Today I am not sure what's wrong, but thinking it's a vacuum leak some where or something else..I've never had a problem here. I should get my truck back today running better, and not killing me on gas. Burns gas like a muscle car from the 60's. $50 a week in gas. THANKS

Hid unapproved and unneeded work in the final bill with poorer quality parts than was originally installed, and refused to do necessary work to make road legal because "he isn't a body shop". Buyer beware IMPORTANT EDIT: They didn't put my fuel line back on properly and it came off going down the road spraying gasoline all over the engine bay, their negligence could have potentially cost my life

Dave and Ray provided excellent service that helped my family get home. We are from out of town on a 400 mile trip for a funeral. My vehicle broke down and they got out radiator replaced immediately. Their service was quick, affordable, and without a pile of miscellaneous fees. I got a cylinder misfire on my Corolla the other day while in Omaha, and I am not from the area. Found Dave and Ray to be one of the closest shops to my current location. Stopped to 1 more shop on my way, clearly explained that I am not from the area and would much appreciate if we can get the car going today. The other guys declined and asked me to leave the car and they`ll let me know when they could work on it. Naturally, I went on and got to Dave and Ray`s shop. Not only they worked on it the same day and got me on the road but also priced it less. For example, Dave and Ray charged $75 for the diagnostics (same day), while the other guy asked for $199 diagnostics (when I get the chance to work on it). Dave (or Ray) was kind enough to give me a ride to the place I needed to be while they worked on the car. So great local car shop and I wish I could be regular there. Thanks much. Would 100% recommend this shop!

Very dry personality. Tried to charge me a few about my dead battery. Which I told him about before the tow truck delivered my vehicle to his shop. Caution, check your invoice carefully.
