Took it there because my door handles were not locking, repeated to them several times that both front doors were having the issue. They only fixed one. When I called them and told them about it instead of letting me take it in and addressing it they said it was my fault for miscommunicating (I did not, their fault for not listening and also for not catching the second door handle during the inspection they claimed they did) and wanted me to re-schedule and charge me for a repair all over again. After having to wait weeks for my last appointment no thank you. Never again..

Good job on fixing my car, so I gave 3 stars for that, but not disclosing that a fee will be charged when paying by card is a huge red flag to me. When I called about it, the lady made sure to say that there are signs in the office (that I obviously didn't see), and on the website (that I NEVER saw), but apologized for not telling me at the time they ran my card! FYI, laws require that you inform the consumer, AND if you are going to post something, it must be in PLAIN SIGHT! It was NOT in plain sight! I paid a $3,600+ bill, and more was taken just because they didn't have the decency to tell me they were going to take an extra $127 out of my account that I needed for something else. Again, good job on fixing my car and other services I was due for, but let people know about things like that. It's not your money, so you don't care, but if someone sues you, that sign and notice on your website may not be sufficient. I will never take my care here again. IJS

Took my vehicle to Dave’s Auto on New Year’s Eve. Didn’t expect service that afternoon, but they were more than accommodating for a late afternoon drop off. Every system failure on my CR-V was going off and the car was lurching. I was terrified, but they assured me that they could diagnose it, which they did. The fuel pump was bad, along with a sensor. Very satisfied with entire experience and will absolutely go back for any future maintenance/repair issues.

Took my 2017 Chevy Silverado to Dave’s shop for an engine power reduced code. Dropped my truck off on a Sunday and by Thursday I had it back. I have been using Dave’s service since 1996 and always have had excellent outcomes with vehicle repairs. I have always driven used cars and put tons of miles on them with my home health physical therapy work. Daves repairs and maintenance have allowed me to put over 300000 on 2 Pontiac's and a grand marquee. Plus over 200000 on several of my others. I recommend them to everyone without hesitation.

I went in with a couple major repairs and a long list of things I needed to get done. A diagnostic was done and all needed repairs were identified. And there were several that I didn't even think of. We talked about everything before any work started. They explained each detail to me before work started. I authorized all work to be done and was told it would be a week to week and a half to be complete. I had my vehicle back the next day (I got lucky and all parts were available). They are great people and treat you fairly. And ladies they didn't treat me like I didn't know what I was talking about and explained the things I didn't know. I had a budget set for the 2 major repairs but they were able to fix everything for a little over my budget. I couldn't be happier and will be going back for all repairs and even oil changes.

Wow!!! I've got a buddy who works up here and asked if they could take a look at one of my employees' cars that I just got out of another shop (who wouldn't look into why it developed a new problem after taking it there). I asked around cause if you didn't know, car repair shops are kind of shady at times. No one person had anything but glowing things to say about Dave and his crew up there. Did a fantastic job at showing me in the report what was wrong and how it would affect the car. 500 dollars later, a vehicle that had major power issues and would die at times, runs and drives better than it has the entire time I've known it! I can't thank you, guys, enough!

How is your schedule for an oil change? Dave’s makes it easy on us. This time, we dropped the truck off and they fit it in, texting us when done. With the text are pictures and review of other inspections. If something needs attention we can approve or schedule for later. Could I go on a scheduled time and wait? I can, and have. Dave’s build great trust with us.

The price was fair and they got to my car quickly. My transmission went out and they couldn’t fix it at their shop. A nearby place was recommended and I was told my car could make it the 3 miles. It took me 2 hours to drive 3 miles because my car kept dying in the rain. I was almost hit by other vehicles twice. It would have been nice if the person with whom I was working would have known better.

I took my Chevy Tahoe there, first time using Dave’s. I found the team there to be professional, knowledgable, and very friendly. I had a long list of problems with my vehicle for them to fix, 200,000 miles of partial neglect ignoring noises. Dave’s took care of every one of them, and went the extra mile to make sure I left a satisfied customer. I really liked their automated text notifications that gave me real time tracking of issues found and allowed me to approve any work. The costs were broken down and explained. The pricing was very reasonable. The schedule for work completion was reasonable. I would definitely recommend this shop for your repair needs.
