Robert the owner of this business is very rude. He talked to me like I was stupid and talked down to me in a very rude attitude. He was even rude to the tow service I hired to pick up my vehicle. He has no business working with the public. He also basically called me a liar. The quote he gave me to fix my car was absolutely outrageous. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Please beware.

My story is one about how honest they are. I took my KIA van somewhere else to get it fixed and they were going to charge $1200.00. Called Snyder, who my father uses, and they said they thought they could fix it for $20. I took it in and they ended up not being able to fix it and advised me this was the one time it would be good to take it to KIA because it was one of 6 sensors and KIA could try one and if it wasn't the correct one they could take it off and try another without charging me (which is exactly what happened) where as Snyder would have to specially order parts to try it and charge me. When I asked how much they would charge for looking at it (like most mechanics would) he said that since he couldn't fix it like he said he could he wasn't going to charge me anything. The honesty I received there is the reason why this is the only Automotive place I will take my vehicle to from now on.

We’ve been using Snyder Automotive for more than 15 years. Great affordable work! Highly recommend them if you want an honest mechanic which is practical and affordable.

Always friendly, polite, helpful, honest, direct & really takes care of the customers. Which is why they have a huge solidly happy repeating customer base. ***10 years later*** Still my favorite mechanics. So incredibly lucky to have these brothers to go to! They treat you like family that cares.

We've now had a car there at least 3 different times for different issues over the past few years. We drive cars with over 200,000 miles. My husband was a mechanic in the Army and typically does the work himself, but schedules and other obstetrical make him want to find a mechanic more frequently. He has said every time about Snyder's their more than a fair price, with quality communication on variables, and work has always been done right (I always take the car in, so I don't think they even know we have a quality working knowledge). This is high praise as my husband seems to be overly particular and rarely happy with mechanics.

Got stranded in KC from out of town with a small broken overflow radiator hose. They were able to emergently patch the hose and get me home for the full repair. Super fair on price for a fix they could have taken advantage of me in a bind. Would recommend and use them again anytime.

Alan was great in diagnosing the problem with my truck. He got me back on the road and fixed the brake lamp switch. Very happy with the repairs. The truck is driving smoothly now.

Trustworthy and mechanics are two words you don't often hear put together, but they go hand in hand at Snyder's. My family won't take our vehicles anywhere else. They have an after hours drop box which is great for us. They respond quickly to phone calls and explain issues in a straight forward way. They will talk to you about any repairs that need to be made BEFORE making the repairs, and if you can manage to be safe and go without the repair. They aren't the cheapest in town, but they are priced competitively, and with them you get more for what you pay. Nice employees, good communication, excellent mechanics. Location is a bit tricky to get to off 40hwy, as they are set back from the road and share a driveway with other businesses. It's well worth your time to circle around and find them if you miss them on the first try.

I thought I needed brakes today. Robert called me back and said they were fine, just a little dirty causing a squeak. This experience has happened every time I go there. GM dealer said I needed $1,500 worth of repairs, Robert said all was fine and I have had no issues for two years. Tire dealer said I needed a new battery, Robert said it was fine and it has been over a year now. He is an honest business person and I recommend him to all my friends and family. He is the only person I will go to now, and has earned my trust.

Robert and sons are positively amazing! They do great work at a really reasonable price, and you can trust that they aren't going to do things that don't need to be done. They're good at communicating what they're doing, and when they will be finished. I would recommend them to anyone!

I dropped my 2003 ford explorer of to be looked at because it stopped running. I told them I had a new motor installed last November. I called next day and they said motor was blown and I told them they could fix it under warranty. They declined $95.00 per hr to fix and were rude about it. I said ok and would have the car towed out. I went this morning to pickup the car and opened the hood to ensure it was reassembled. I discovered the top of the intake manifold was smashed. This was not the condition I left it in. This intake was brand new when motor was replaced. I will call them when they reopen on Monday.

Alan does a wonderful job! Prices are phenomenal compared to places like Christian Brothers. Wait time isn't long, and they do thorough inspections. He is friendly and professional, and his father does an amazing job as well! Family owned and operated. You won't regret going here!

Brought my Jeep in after it overheated on the Highway. Totally at the mercy of where the tow could drop me. The overflow tank was full so I wasn’t sure what the issue was. Short answer was the radiator coolant was low. They topped it off and got me back on the road. Honesty and integrity, if I lived in this part of town they’d have all my business.

Took car to have diagnosed. Was told issues and price. Took in the next day and back on the road in 5 hrs. Car runs amazing without the clunking, clicking of front axle/CV boot replaced. I'm so glad Snyders was recommended! I will recommended them to anyone and will definitely return for future issues. They were quick, thorough, great pricing and I couldn't be happier with results!! Thank you!!

My whole family has been going to Snyder Automotive for years, and we honestly wouldn’t go anywhere else. Robert and Alan are as honest and knowledgeable as they come. They never try to upsell or push anything unnecessary — just straightforward, quality work every time. Whether it’s regular maintenance or a bigger issue, we always know we’re in good hands. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can fully trust, but Snyder Automotive makes it easy. Cant recommend them enough.

Best automotive shop I’ve been to! They have excellent service, are always friendly, and are quick to schedule me in. Today, they saved me $2,800 by giving me a second opinion after the Toyota dealership told me I needed a repair. Turns out, the issue didn't need fixing at all! Instead of taking advantage of me like the dealership tried to, this shop was honest. It’s not often you find a mechanic you can trust! Won’t be going anywhere else.

I recently had my brakes and rotors replaced at another shop, and they tried to up-sell me on new control arms and a driver side tie-rod—quoted me $3500 for all of it on my 20-year-old car. That felt off, so I took it to Snyder Automotive for a second opinion. Robert put it on the lift, took a real look, and told me nothing needed to be repaired. Said the car’s in great shape and to just keep driving it until it dies. Best part? I didn’t spend a dime. It’s rare to find a shop this honest, and because of that, I’ll be back if this car—or any future one—needs work. Highly recommend.

My brother and I had an AWESOME experience with Snyder Automotive! We were on a road trip when our gas tank started leaking. Robert and Alan took care of us efficiently and for a reasonable price, while informing us and educating us about the problem as well. They squeezed us in, got us back on the road within an hour or two, and we couldn’t be more grateful! Thanks for everything!

this shop does an extremely poor job of communicating to their customers. “Drop it off whenever” then when you drop it off, even though you leave your info, YOU have to call THEM right before they close so you can find out if they’ve looked at your car or if the work is already done. They won’t give an estimate before hand either. Robert should not be working in customer service. Dude genuinely seemed irritated to have business & take my money. I’ve never had a businessperson irritated at taking my credit card info before lol. I will do Snyder auto and Robert a favor and not bring my business back here. They clearly don’t want it for some reason
