Had a vibration on my 4Runner when hitting any type of bump. I’ve pretty much only used Delta World Tire but today I decided to use another place. Delta was on opposite side of town from where I was. Anyway. This other shop told me it was my rack in pinion causing the issue. I had my doubts as my 4runner suspension is almost brand new. After spending $160 for a useless “diagnosis” I decided to bring it to Delta. Got lucky and they were able to get me in within an hour and solved my issue. These guys are the best. Well worth the wait and prices!

I never leave reviews for things like this but I had such an amazing experience the last time I had my work truck serviced. I felt like I needed to share this with the community. I made an appointment with Lizzie and told her what I needed done. I showed at the time that was scheduled and the store manager, Andy pulled up my order. He knew what I needed and was very knowledgeable, took care of everything and didn’t try to up sale me like all other mechanic shops. I was in and out in a timely fashion. I will be going back and they will also do all of the work on my wife’s car too.

Start off by saying the worst place to go to for alignments! I got an alignment like 2 months ago come to find out they did not tighten my A-arm and tire rods so my tires got bald on the inside so I bring it back for them to tighten. Then say we can tighten it but unfortunately we can’t align it due to tires, tire rods and wheel bearings. So they proceeded to quote me 1,400$ to fix. Keep in mind I already changed my whole front end except wheel bearings. I say, no I will change myself. Also, they promised me a free alignment at this point. I said cool I’ll be back with new tires and bearings changed. I dropped my truck off to get my free alignment and mount and balance (which I was charged for) but I was ok with that. I get a call saying it was ready and nothing else was said, so we hang up. Went there to pick up they tell me we can’t do alignment due to your motor mounts. Motor mounts has nothing to do with the alignment whatsoever! This place is just disgusting and y’all have lost a customer and I will be sure to let everyone I know NOT to go here! They are lazy and trying to get more money out of people to cover their mess up. It’s sick!

I had the unfortunate luck yesterday of hitting a curb and slicing my tire. I was in the Lafayette area doing some shopping and needed to get back home safely. The team at Delta tire took great care of me and got me home safely!!! They were professional and efficient. They had the tire replaced very quickly. I purchased my tires about a year and a half ago and just yesterday I noticed my steering wheel was shaking back and forth so I brought it back to Delta World. At first they told me it was.a bent rim causing this. I asked them to show me where it was bent. Upon inspection it was not the rim at all but a ball on the tire, I believe it was a slipped steal belt. I did have full coverage on these 4 tires. So after they determined what the real problem was the manager gave me a brand new tire and just charged me for the new warranty on the tire. Bottom line, I was very satisfied with the end results. My only concern was when I asked to see the damaged rim they were unable to show me any evidence. I was satisfied with the end results but, one can only wonder if I had sent my wife in to check it out, would they have sold her a rim and installed the bad tire on the new rim? Please ask questions when things like this occurs. All of this said I would still buy my tires from them because they eventually made it good.

I hate that I will have to stop using Delta. I have 5 vehicles, (2 personal and 3 business) and I love doing business with 1 company only. We had a company truck break down so we towed it to Delta and was told it was probably the starter. Well it wasn't. We wanted to bring it to Giles but was told NO we will be getting the part any day. After a month, I find the part and they order to only find out they couldn't diagnose the truck or get it diagnose. So now 2.5 months down + company vehicle out = 3-4 business account lost. The worst part was that they never gave me updates but when I called them they flat out lie and say we will call you by the end of the day (never called) With all the lies and lost of confidence we had with Delta. We had it towed to Giles and back on the road in business within 10 days. All Delta is good for is TIRES. I even asked to talk to a general manager and never could, even though they said he would be calling me. Liar Liar,

Chris the mechanic there earlier this week said that the issue was 2 sensors that cost under $100 total. Then days later, Chris the mechanic there said he changed one and was waiting on another to come in. The charge to fix it jumped to $1,900!!! Saturday morning we go to the shop and see the car in the same parking spot where it was towed. Walk in and the person who worked the front desk (don’t know his name) but the owner or manager knows the schedule on this day and who it was if they really care and not trying to respond with some damage control response publicly to this post. He says they haven’t touched the car yet. (Us -“huh?”) (He doesn’t know that Chris the mechanic said earlier that week he changed one sensor and was waiting on another one to come in. And remember it would be $1,900.00) Yet the front desk man Saturday (today) now is saying to another family member an hour later that Chris changed one part. When the other family member walks in who he spoke to earlier and told no parts were changed. He says that he never told them that. (The other family member says) oh you didn’t? He says No! I didn’t. She says Sir I have it recorded would you like to hear? (We knew they were lying before so we didn’t trust them and recorded.) His eyes are like deer in headlights. Starts stuttering and is guilty yet does not acknowledge his fault. In the recording which she played for him he clearly sates no work has been done on this car! We are taking the car from this dishonest and untrustworthy place and bringing it to a place that doesn’t say one thing and do another like this. STAY AWAY! They used to be good now 🗑️ character!! New management, same name be aware
