This shop is unbelievably honest! When have you ever heard of a bill from your mechanic come in under their origanal quote?! This has been the case more then once for me. My Lexus and Toyota are whipped back into shape and run great! Deray knows how a shop gains loyalty from his customers. I take all my vehicles here. Reliable exceptional work with a smile! Moved here 5 years ago. Asked 2 people who I should use an a Mechanic. Derays was the answer from both. I will never take a car anywhere else. This is the best shop I have ever worked with. Busy so appointments are recommended. But they are busy for a reason. 5 stars and if I could give more I would.

He is always honest, straight forward, and fair. We've all been conditioned to feel that we cannot trust our mechanic, but Deray is more than transparent. His advise of what to focus on to maintain my truck, has likely saved me at least a few thousand dollars. It feels like other places will always tell you every quirk your vehichle has is a must fix situation. Deray understands financial limitations, and will tell you what should be taken care of, and what can wait.

I have gone to Deray now for years. He is not only a great mechanic and very knowledgable but also has very fair pricing. I recommend him to all my friends. Everyone that has gone to him is now a loyal customer. His office people are also great. I have now moved to Salt Lake, but I come back there whenever I need something done because I know he's so honest. This is a great place to get your car repaired.

I've been having an idling issue with my forerunner for a while and it has been misdiagnosed by several people. (costing me a lot of unnecessary money) Deray immediately identified the problem and cleaned my MAF. He also put some fluids in and it has been running much better since. He is an honest mechanic who knows his stuff and is very fair with his pricing and his time.

So I took my vehicle to Deray's automotive. He seemed nice and he found the problem with my vehicle. So why did I just rate them as average? For 2 reasons, I had dropped my vehicle off on a Tuesday and I didn't hear back until Thursday only after I had to call and ask. So communication was very average. The 2nd issue was that he couldn't get to the repair for another 10 days, which unfortunately didn't work for us. Would I trust him to fix my vehicle? Yes, seemed like a very competent mechanic. But he's lacking on the office management side as many of my phone calls weren't answered (though voicemails were returned, so that is a pro). Another hit on the office management side is managing supply chain, most people can't afford to not have mechanical work done for a couple of weeks. If you're too busy at the moment, then just state that upfront, so that the customer knows going in what potential timeline issues they'll be dealing with. Will I give them another shot? Yes, absolutely. And if service is different, I'll bump my rating. Note as well- my 3 star rating is literal. Good, but not great. For a 5 star rating, everything has got to be perfect. So don't read this as a reason to not use his service, but as an advisement of which questions to ask before committing a car to them.

If you own a Toyota or Lexus, why would you take it to a dealership that charges you and arm in the leg especially when they can’t fix them and they send him to DeRay, Who can fix it and he charges less! He is THEE expert when it comes to Toyotas in Lexus Hybreds. The first car he worked on of mine was a 40 Ford (years ago )with the 350 Chevy hopped up engine. After he got through with it, I had to buy a Set a set of new rear tires! Honest, hard-working, and fair, just a great guy to do business with.

I have been going to Deerays for at least 10 years, he is by far the best mechanic I’ve ever been to. He is very ethical and fair on price, the reason he is so busy is because of how great he is so I definitely think he is worth the wait. He may not always pick up the phone right away but when you leave a voicemail he calls back as soon as he can. 10/10 recommend, I have taken all of my vehicles to his shop too many times to count for whatever reason and have always been pleased with his work.
