Read the reviews first! Well it looks like I’ve fallen victim to the same situation as everyone else with regards to insurance and this company. I would not recommend this company. The arrival time kept getting pushed back past 2 hours. Called and no one answered. I’ve wasted almost 3 hrs of my night sitting and waiting for a company that never came. Now I have to waste $20 in Ubers to get back home. If this company comes up again when I need a tow I will cancel and request a different company. No thank you.

Butch arrived to tow our damaged vehicle from driveway to shop after a deer strike. Very very pleasant, knowledgeable and totally professional. Total wait time was less than 15 minutes for non urgent tow. Insurance sent them but now that I know, I would call them again and highly recommend.

Sunday 6/22 @2:00 pm and 98°. Me with my flat tire on the 70 west. Want to cry out loud.called for tow and estimated time of wait 40-75 minutes. Technician arrived quickly and called upon arrival. He was very friendly and got my car jumped right away. I would definitely recommend him. **Update: This should be a separate review, but I can't figure out how to write another, so: Once again my roadside assistance sent Derek's Towing to service my car(this time to actually tow it), and once again, the agent, Alex, was very friendly and professional. They arrived quickly and got my Kia up on the towing bed without issue. Once again, I would recommend them! 5 stars

Butch from Derek’s arrived 45 minutes AHEAD of schedule. Very polite & friendly. Even popped the hood to see if he could determine what was wrong. Took my car & myself to the dealership I requested. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They are no longer on 4th street as the website states, but that’s a non-issue. (I did this through Allstate Roadside Assistance).

Accidentally locked my keys in my trunk in a rush to get somewhere and called roadside. They sent Butch from Derek's Towing. He called in advance to let me know he was on his way from Hagerstown and came in about half an hour. He was fantastic and got my car open immediately. Communicated fantastically and really didn't have to wait long for service!!! I hope if I have any other need for roadside they send Butch again :)

Butch arrived (I called my roadside service via my Insurance company-Charles Insurance and Travelers) within 40 Min of my call! He was kind, courteous, seemingly knowledgeable, helped me close my windows on my car since the battery was having issues, but the main issue was something else. He gave me the step by step of what he was doing, used special mini ramps for my rear tires so they didn’t drag- again since the electricity was off- we couldn’t get the break to unlock. He safely got my car onto the flat bed and took it to my service station. I’m very grateful for his kind, courteous, and speedy service! Thank you Butch! You and Derek’s are keepers! -Chrissy

Absolute worst company. The driver showed up with a phone in hand and was talking on it the entire time. He never asked why the vehicle was being towed. He towed it to the local shop, unhooked it, and then proceeded to drive away. Seconds later, my car rolled across the parking lot and struck the shop owner’s vehicle. When we reached out to Derick’s to explain what happened, the person on the other end immediately became defensive and started blaming everyone except the driver. Totally incompetent.
