I wish I could give 0 stars. Upon arrival, I realize that it was a very confusing directions as to where you go for your Aircheck. There was arrows on one side, but yet the device and the equipment was on the other side, which means you would have to loop around to actually get serviced. After patiently waiting for about 15 minutes I realize I was not gonna be receiving service, & that’s only because I realize what situation I was actually in & I had an important decision to make. Either I can given to that negative & low vibrational energy or I can overcome it & realize that the energy that I’m currently holding, which is of love and respect and compassion will always be stronger & always win. I know this type of energy because as I was waiting this time there was several people that were working that just completely acted as if I was not there. They did not wanna come to service me and by the way, I am a beautiful, indigenous Brown American and I realize the individuals were there were a color and different backgrounds at first. I thought it was just they were busy till I realize I made eye contact with three different individuals that wanted me to know that they saw me but did not want to service me. I was only there to receive some air in my tire seeing as how it had deflated overtime here in Houston the heat has been excruciating and even today it’s at 95°, all my other three tires are fine but the rear passenger just went down for some reason so I thought I would be able to stop in on the way to my favorite library, which is only five minutes away Helen Hill by the way, you guys must check it out they are awesome, caring, and compassionate and amazing people that are truly there to serve. Anyways, as I realize what was happening, I decided to leave with the energy I already held, which is of love and compassion. I choose not to give into that low negative vibrational energy because I know that there are many many many among us that are not of us they look like you, but actually they are, other entities that are only here to spread division hatred so that they may continue to conquer. I know this because I’ve realized the shift and energy that’s been happening post Covid and there’s more people that are waking up to realize that we must come together & continue to spread love, and every since then there has been even more uprising and that type of racist and negative energy. As a mother of two teenage children, one son and one daughter that’s one thing I made sure to never teach because those type of thought practices are in fact taught as you notice when we were younger and as a child, we made friends with everyone it’s not until you’re taught hatred that you then impose that on others. I’ve always taught my children to love and show compassion, and only treat others based off of the treatment they give you & based off their character and how they treat others and themselves. Only then you respond accordingly. I knew it was this because a Caucasian woman pulled up behind me 15 minutes later she was immediately assisted whereas I was still standing waiting for help so then I realize it’s time for me to go because if I stay in someone does actually come I know that they’re only going to interfere and more than likely tamper with the tire that only needed air. I’m sure it would’ve become more of an issue probably with a puncture or some type of malice intent Done and I did not want that. so I’m here to just advise You of using caution and intuition when visiting certain locations. We are very fortunate here throughout Houston that there are hundreds if not thousands of Discount Tire locations that One could go to so you do not need to spend your energy, time & money at a place that do not welcome you, do not like you & do not want you there. There are other locations to visit and I know that this is not a brand issue but more of an isolated individual franchise issue. Those that are employing these people are also those probably of the same mentality. To All of You have the day you deserve.

I called at 8:16 AM to make an appointment at 10 o'clock for a nail repair, I ended up just driving in a bit before 9. I went to the McDonald's across the parking lot, came back a bit before 11 since I hadn't received any texts about status. They hadn't gotten to my car yet. So, I asked someone and they said it would be 10 minutes. Then I asked how long the repair would take to which they repeated 10 minutes. It's been 35 so far, so even if it was 10 minutes to get in and 10 minutes for the repair, I'm still waiting a long dang time for a nail repair that's dead center in my tire. No communication is the biggest issue here, no notifications via text which they've done before, so I'm really upset with this location. Won't be being buying tires from them next time, I'll gladly support another business.

We live in Dallas but we’re down in League City visiting family for Christmas. My tire light came on so I took it to Discount Tire in League City. One of the worse experiences at Discount Tire. They told me it would take about 30 minutes to get my car in and patch the tire. Then a sales guy comes in from Discount Tore and tells me I need a front alignment and that my wheel is slanted. So he tells me 45 minutes to and hour. Finally after an hour the employee comes in and says my car is ready and is only talking about repairing the nail. I spoke up and said what about the front alignment. The Discount Tire employee said “Front Alignment? You wanted a front alignment?” I said “yes, I’ve already paid y’all $90.” The employee said that he will have to take my car back in the garage. The original sales guy walks up to me and said”I know you’ve been here for several hours.” Then said “You don’t have to have the front alignment today.” I looked at him and said “I thought you said that it was important to do the alignment today since I was driving back to Dallas?” He said “Well I didn’t want to keep you hostage.” Then asked me if I wanted a water and said that today the water is free but there usually $20 a bottle.” Not funny at all after what we experienced today a Discount Tire in League City. This has got to be the worst customer service we have received at Discount Tire.

I called Discount to make an appointment to get 4 new tires on my Jeep. They said they had an 8:15 am open so I took it. When I got the at 8:10 Saturday morning, I found out that several people were given the exact same time. So the wait was a little bit. I told them I would be dropping it off, they said they would call me and that it would be about 2 hours. Three hours later I called to see if it was ready and they said yes. They never called me. When I get there, I found my Jeep in the Mc Donald's parking lot. I'm not sure if they have an agreement with Mc Donald's or not, but if not, they could have had my vehicle towed away. But other than that, I got 4 new tires at a decent price 🙄

Long story short- they’re dishonest about time frames to make a sale. Staff were polite at first, but the overall experience was frustrating. I let my salesman know I wanted to make an appointment and return another day because it was close to my toddler’s nap time. He said I could, but the price I was given was what “they could do for me today” (?) I expressed again my concern that my son would be fussy and loud, and only agreed to proceed after being told the work would take about 15 minutes. Forty minutes later, my car was finally being pulled into the bay. I was speaking to another salesman at this point because the one I worked with originally disappeared. When I said I didn’t want to proceed if they were just starting, I was given another estimate of “10 minutes.” This was also inaccurate but I gave up at this point. I’m still here waiting with a fussy toddler. The appointment I wanted to come back for was for the same tires, and the same work. My time and schedule were disregarded to make the sale today. I’m glad I didn’t agree to the alignment or there’s no telling how long it would be. I’ll be using the Kemah location that my husband prefers from now on.

This used to be my go to location for tires. The service used to.be prompt, the sales people used to be courteous. Not anymore. Far from being helpful, they were disinterested and dismissive. With that type of service, I may as well go somewhere else. I used to be able to negotiate pricing through "the found it here lower" tab but Discounts new software wont allow for any modifications. Discount Tire is unable to correctly deliver on their price matching service. This also makes me wonder if they quietly dropped their 30 day drive it home guarantee They need to to fix this or they have lost a nearly 20 year customer. For good. Upgrade to two stars. Manager attempted to call. Anither location was way more helpful.

Chris is a Bully Manager that only provides good customer service if your outside appearance sits fit for him to. I left feeling like he feels i dont deserve his respect as a human being. I didn't even react because I didn't want to come off as the angry guy.. I just hope this post get seen by the eyes with the power to control him and his bully ways over his staff and discrimination towards certain customers... May God bless we are all equal in his eyes..

Called yesterday to make an appointment to drop off my wife's car, as the right front tire has a leak. Gentlemen on the phone says, I don't need to make an appointment if I am just dropping off. I said sounds good, you can have it as long as you need it.... but I will be there at 9:30. Got there at 9:41. Stood in line at the front counter until 9:53..... we were the only people in the line by the way. Dude comes over and says, lemme get your name, phone number and tell me what the issue is.... I explain the front tire has a leak and we just wanted to drop off. He says, ok, well it's gonna 5-10 mins max..... and I said, we are just dropping off, he said, yes gimme 5-10 mins and then we can go over your needs. Wait, what? Didn't I just give you all that info? No problem I can wait a few mins. Well after another 15 mins, one salesman is on his phone scrolling, the others are in the shop talking and the one guy at the counter is actively typing.... so obviously not terribly busy if they have time to chat in the shop and the other guy scrolling on his phone. So I tell dude on his phone, I don't have anymore time to wait.... he looks up and smiles and say "bye". As I'm walking out, another gentlemen hollars.... you want to just leave the keys? I said "NOPE" as I am walking out. I've been a customer for more than 20 years and this is just another bad experience at this store and I've had it with being treated like you are doing me a favor by letting me spend money in this store. Talk about not having respect for other people's time! I'm going to talk to another tire place today and if they do me right, I'll be cancelling my Discount Tire card and never returning again.

Ordered tires online and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. I get there and get the tires installed. Leave and get home to find one of my center oaps was missing. And the wheels look like that grabbed gease and just smeared it all over them. I was also missing 2 valve caps. I called and they said they had the cap to just come back in. I go back and they couldn't find the cap... I stood around for 30 mins waiting after being there an hour before. Not a great place to go. The one kid tried to help me when I got there. He was nice.

Sent my wife in to get a tire replaced with specific instructions on where the nail was (inside sidewall, left rear tire). The tires were nearly new, bought from them less than a year ago. They called me and said that the tire was fine, but the other rear tire had a problem. I wasn't sure so I actually believed them and told them to replace both and put them on the front. Left rear tire kept leaking, wound up that they didn't touch the tire with the nail in it. Great up-sell on the 'certificates' too ($210 total - to replace 2 near-new tires bought from them). They also now do wheel alignments, so every car coming in needs a wheel alignment, apparently - told them to no-way. Bottom line - if you need new tires, they're still good, but don't let them do repairs as they're not very busy (wonder why) and thus need all the 'help' they can get. EDIT: Thank you for your reply. I don't really have much to show you other than the work request (to fix the flat, replace if necessary) and 3 new tires - I hadn't taken pictures of the damage (didn't think it would be needed as my request was very specific). As it is, I'll take this as a personal lesson and if I need a tire fixed, I'll pull it off the car and then give it to my wife, as it would have saved me most of the $300+ and it would have saved you from my review. For new tires, I'll still use you as the only thing my wife will have to fight off is the Wheel Alignment add-on.

Sorry for the long story, but THEY DESERVE IT! I had 6 year old tires, I knew they were in really bad condition but I've been struggling financially and had to get new brakes and new cooling system parts recently so I had to put getting new tires on hold for a while. Yesterday I had my front driver side tire split on me at work and was desperately searching for something in my budget that was quick. I used to go to Walmart simplify because its cheap but the customer service is always awful. They wouldn't even look to see if they had any tires for me over the phone. I was told to try discount tire by almost everyone I know but was scared of not being able to afford it! I found a tire in my price range online and went in today nervous that they would turn me away because I couldn't afford to get all of them now. The man that helped me said "what can I do to get you out of here with new tires?" I was embarrassed that I didn't have any options. I wish I had gotten his name! He ended up waiving all installation fees for me and discounted my transaction down to $242 for all four tires because he said he couldn't in good conscious let me drive away on tires that dangerous. That man absolutely saved me today and I can't ever thank them enough.

THIS IS MY FAVORITE LOCATION. I live near the friendswood and bay area discount tire locations and I PREFER this location. THIS LOCATION IS SOLUTION ORIENTED. All the other locations will use any excuse to not do the job which albeit is usually 'free' rotate and balance. Even then this location has never given me push back on doing a simple balance and rotate. HOWEVER this time I actually purchased 3 tires online and scheduled the installation ONLINE. WHOLE NEW EXPERIENCE. Have you ever been picked up from the airport in a limousine? That's what this felt like they had a bay reserved with my name and appointment time. I was in and out in under 40mins. Ashton called ahead of the appt to walk me thru the process. He maintained communication thru out the appt. And when they hit a snag (tires out of stock) he handled it. I left discount tire with 4 new tires. Hands down the most stress free experience. I recommend discount tire to everyone I know, but I ESPECIALLY recommend THIS LOCATION!!

I had a flat tire with a screw in it and gave it some air to make it to Discount Tire at League City. Came in for my appointment and the customer service was stellar. I asked for my scheduled repair and a tire rotation. Got a call about an hour later saying my car was ready. I drove the car home and didn't plan on going anywhere until the next day... Turns out they didn't do the tire repair like I requested and just swapped my tire with the screw to the front and my PSI was a 3. Never coming here again.
