I've always had a decent experience at any discount tire I go to, however this experience is at the top of the list. This employee genuinely deserves a raise!

Always a smart buy going to Discount and the Convoy store staff take care of you. I can't recommend them enough! I had an exceptional experience at the Discount Tire location in Convoy, particularly with Jonathan the manager here. I came in with what I thought was a small nail in my tire due to the tire pressure light constantly coming back on. It turns out I had a cracked rim, and I was instantly alarmed and worried I had to get it replaced. Jonathan assured me that they would be able to fix the rim, and he even placed a loaner wheel on my car so that I could continue to drive it around while they got my wheel fixed. His help saved me a couple hundred, if not at least a thousand dollars. But more importantly, I am by no means a car person, and Jonathan was extremely patient with me in explaining what was going on and helping me out. He also went above and beyond in turning an otherwise stressful situation into something that was so much easier to deal with. I would look no further and I highly recommend this location.

My wife ran over a nail and the tire got a flat. Since it's a tesla without a spare I wouldn't be able to drive it to the shop without an emergency plug or towing the car. So I plugged it. The plug was in the middle indent of the tire with plenty of tred. Ive also been a prior customer and had purchased a tire from them a year ago. Came in and waited 15 mins in line, when I told him what happened, he said he won't repair it because I plugged it and was really pushing me to buy a new tire (this tire barely had 20k miles on it with a tiny puncture in the middle of the tire). He didnt look at the plug i mind you. I left and went down the road to Evans tires. They fixed up for free in 15mins. Edit: Manager, Marvin, reached out. Was very nice and explained and showed their policy. Although the policy is not displayed, he showed it on his computer. He also offered to help with getting the tire replaced.

One of my tires was leaking air, and I went to this discount tire store to get air pumped. It was nice. It turned out there was a nail in the tire and they checked and told me that it was not repairable and need to have the tire changed at the price of 180 dollar for one tyre. I did not do it there, and later I went to Bears and had it repaired for free.

Had a great experience at this Discount Tire today. The line was out the door when I first arrived but the staff worked hard to get to everyone as soon as possible. The service advisor that assisted me was Marvin, I highly recommend you make an appointment with him or ask for him when you arrive. He was very courteous and professional. He walked me through all the options and even though the tires for my vehicle were not initially in stock, he got them there with in 2 hours and got me in and out in 3 hours without an appoint and without having the tires in stock! I was very impressed with his service!

I want to give a huge acknowledgement to the team here — Manager Marvin, Jonathan, and Sam. My twin boys, who are autistic, go to school down the street from this Discount Tire location, but we live in Chula Vista. I usually go to the Palm Ave location where Trevor takes care of me, but today I was far from home with a flat tire and needed help fast. When I arrived, Jonathan let me know they could put on my spare, but it wasn’t safe, and I needed a new tire. I told him I could only manage a used one for now — and I also shared that I had my autistic twins in the back, outside of their routine, and they were on the verge of a meltdown. I was stressed and worried about their comfort and our safety getting home. The moment I expressed that, Marvin and Jonathan didn’t hesitate. They got right to work. No attitude, no delay, no problem. They helped me immediately and truly accommodated me and my boys! Discount Tire — thank you. Your staff goes above and beyond. Shout out to Caleb and Jose!!! I had gone to a "used tire shop" earlier this morning and then my pressure light came on so I stopped here to have my air pressure checked. Caleb went above and beyond and let me know my tires were a "safety risk" even though I JUST bought them.🤦‍♀️ He also informed me one of my tired has a leak cause of how low my psi was in one of them (something the first shop didn't even do!) He was very patient and informative which is why I came back. When I arrived it was super busy but everyone was very friendly and apologizing about the wait. Jose was the one to help me figure out what tires would be best for me and my budget.....He just went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed to be safe on the road again.These guys were amazing!!! 😇Totally turned my day around after that horrible experience with the other tire shop. I appreciate the fast, friendly, reliable service! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN!!! ☺️

Although I have other tire stores within 5-minutes of my home, I travel 35-minutes to this store because the team is always courteous, professional, and timely.I ordered my tires online, reserved a time slot to have work done, and then showed up to the store. I was immediately called over to a representative, they checked my car, and then pulled it in to have the work done. Not only did they complete my four tire changes on-time, they finished early. Tyler is always spot on with his recommendations during a tire pressure check as well as with dealing with appointments with tire rotations and replacements! Jason was a great Ambassador for Discount Tire during my appointment this morning for 4 new tires on my SUV, explaining and confirming everything in detail! It was greatly appreciated!
