Sorely disappointed in their staff. Young guy damaged my running board and didn't tell me or his manager. I had to call him out on it and had to get manager myself. Called corporate office and got a claim started. Only reason they get two stars instead of one, they moved on it. The real problem is not the damage. Things happen. Young guys screw up. The problem is not taking ownership.

I was texted when my service was completed. Much better overall experience than other competitor tire companies that I've been to previously.

We booked an appointment for 11:45 am, and we still have not made any progress at 1:30 p.m. The car hasn’t even made it to the repair area. This lack of accountability for maintaining appointment times is quite disturbing when customers may have other things to do like we had. We missed another scheduled appointment even after we informed the sales team that we had somewhere to be at a specified time.

The employees at this location are AWESOME!! Big shout out to Davye{Spellcheck} (David) and Joe. They went above and beyond to help me when i called panicked about blown tire. Even at the last minute they were still able to have my tires expedited and installed same day. The customer service here is exceptional even time I visit. Thank you for a very pleasant experience.

July 14, 2025- I went in for a routine scheduled tire rotation and to my surprise my battery died on me. Ugh 😣 The young men ( Zander, Ben, Aaron, Deyve) working at this location provide great customer service and go above and beyond. Zander removed the dead battery allowing me to go to AutoZone and get a new battery and when I returned he replaced it for me. I am grateful beyond words! Sat.Jan.11, 2025-10 out of 10- Great customer service and prompt. I stopped in because I knew I needed to replace my tires soon and I already knew what my budget was. I spoke to Deyve (maybe misspelled) he gave me a thorough consult with the breakdown of all the costs. We looked at different brands and discussed the additional warranty they offer. I went home and did my own research and discount tires had the best deal for me. I decided to pull the trigger and purchase my tires with Deyve. As a female consumer I feel comfortable with my purchase from Discount Tires, because they have locations everywhere. If I have any problems I'll be able to find a location nearby for assistance. My warranty also covers the repairs and the tire rotations. I'm very pleased🙏🙏 Great customer service and great deals

So thankful for this place. This morning my tire pressure in my left rear went from 33 to 19 while driving, so i knew something was wrong. Went to firestone and waited an hour and half for them to tell me, they didn't have my tire that i had a nail in it, and i needed to get a new one. So came here to discount tire, and they pretty much told me the total opposite, looked at my tire to make sure the nail wasn't in a bad position, and patched it up for me at no cost! Discount tire has always been the place I've gone too and will continue, thank you discount!

Joel was very helpful in getting me the tires I needed for my car. The Yokohama tires were even $80 off the set of four. I feel confident that these are the best tires for driving in the rain. All of my tire sensors were checked and only one needed to be replaced. Good bye tire pressure light. I get my tires at Discount Tires because of the insurance offered on the tires. It's a great money saver.

I brought my car for a regular tire rotation and balancing last Tuesday, 12/23/25. When I got home, the tire warning came up. When I checked my tires, the 2 tires in front and back of the driver side tire pressure is around 23. I tried to called their manager to report the issue but he is not picking up the call.

I recently visited Discount Tire on 2211 N Galloway Ave in Mesquite, TX, and I am pleased with their service. I interacted with two different service representatives at different times, and both were equally helpful and knowledgeable. It's always reassuring to encounter such consistency in customer service 👍 My visit was primarily for a tire rotation, and they efficiently took care of it without any hassle. Discount Tire has consistently provided excellent service in my experience, and this location was no exception. Despite being very busy, the staff managed everything smoothly. The facility itself was clean and well-organized, but I did notice that the restroom could use a little more attention in terms of lighting and cleaning. However, this minor issue didn't detract from the overall positive experience. Discount Tire continues to impress with its great service and knowledgeable staff. I have yet to encounter a Discount Tire location that I didn't like. Keep up the excellent work! 👍👍

I ordered four Drag DR-69 66.56 18x8 5-112.00 +35 BKMTXX wheels online. Discount Tire made the process incredibly smooth — from ensuring proper fitment to scheduling the install and sending timely reminder updates. Their staff even called periodically to check in while the wheels were being shipped from California, which was a great touch. I brought my Audi A4 in today to have the wheels installed and sat in the lobby where I could see the work being done. Two young techs worked together on the install. I only had the chance to meet Zander, who was welcoming, professional, and very methodical with his workflow — I was impressed by his attention to detail. Unfortunately, I had to return later the same day because two valve stem caps were missing on the side handled by Zander’s co-worker. It was a small oversight, but worth mentioning. Followup Review - 10/4/2025 My initial impression was taken down a notch after I began experiencing significant steering wheel vibration. I took my car to the Discount Tire in Temple to have the wheels rebalanced, and they discovered the rear wheel weights were way off and the front slightly off as well. They also recommended rotating the new tires to the front instead of the rear. After the adjustments, the difference was a major improvement, and the ride feels much smoother now. Followup Review - 10/9/2025 The GM in Mesquite called me to sincerely apologize and ask for additional feedback. I appreciate the gesture from such a big company. I upgraded my rating because of this.

I take pride in my car and for the life of me, I cannot understand why people cant take care of your car like its theirs when they fix it. Just came from this Discount Tire to get a tire repaired. That's it. Just repair the tire. I get my car back and there is mud on the door handle and door and inside. Like seriously?! At least pretend like you care about the appearance of the customer's car. Ridiculous.

This was the first time I came. I just came to check my tire needed some air. They could not put air in my tire because they sit it had a leak. So they checked it, they fixed it, and I did not pay one single penny. I left so happy I'm 76 years old. It's hard for me to afford to fix a tire and they fixed it for free. I will be getting my tires here from now on. There are very polite smiling, a very nice people. Everyone was working, no one was standing around. This was the best place I've ever been for tires. I was very happy when I left there. I will recommend this place. This is a place I will buy my tires from now on. Thank you, discount, tire. I have never been so happy living a tireplace

(Revising my review 1/12/26) Ben and Nino made things right by me. They took the time to follow up and ensure my tires were properly shipped and I was all setup in store today. In and out in 50 minutes with an appointment. Appreciate you all taking care of this situation. I do not recommend purchasing tires from Discount Tire, either online or in-store, due to a very frustrating and disorganized experience that reflects poorly on the company as a whole. Approximately two weeks ago, I ordered tires through the Discount Tire website and scheduled an appointment at the Mesquite location. The order and appointment were confirmed, and my card was charged at the time of purchase. Everything appeared to be in order until about five days later, when someone from the Mesquite store called to inform me that the tires I had ordered were actually backordered and would not arrive in time for my appointment. I was told that if I wanted to keep my original appointment, I would need to upgrade to a different set of tires at an additional cost of $40–$50 per tire. While I did not need premium tires—since my vehicle is nearing the end of its lease—I agreed to the upgrade simply to avoid further delays. On the day of my appointment, I attempted to check in using the text link provided, but it did not work. To be proactive, I called the store to confirm everything was ready and was assured there would be no issues. When I arrived on time, I checked in and waited about 15 minutes, despite having a scheduled appointment. After inspecting my vehicle and confirming the tires needed replacement, the staff attempted to locate the upgraded tires and discovered another issue: the replacement tires that had been ordered were incorrect. My vehicle requires extra load tires, but standard load tires had been ordered instead. At that point, I was told that if I wanted tires installed that same day, I would need to pay an additional $58 per tire—on top of the already increased price. By this point, the total cost had nearly doubled from my original online order for tires of the same rating. While still in the store, I checked the Discount Tire website, which showed that the correct tires could be installed at that location by Thursday. The representative told me the website was inaccurate and does not properly reflect store inventory, which raises serious concerns about the reliability of their online ordering system. The overall process felt misleading: the website allows you to place an order, immediately places a hold on your payment method, confirms an appointment, and then days later increases the price. Once you are physically in the store, you are pressured to pay even more if you want the service completed that day. I want to be clear that my frustration is not directed at the individual employees. The staff member I worked with was polite, helpful, and even offered a small discount on the upgraded tires. However, even with that discount, I would still have been paying 75–80% more than originally planned for a vehicle I will be returning from lease in two months. This situation is clearly the result of systemic issues with Discount Tire’s online ordering, inventory management, and customer service processes. In summary, I do not recommend shopping at Discount Tire online, and based on this experience, I would also caution against in-store purchases. The lack of accurate inventory information, immediate payment holds, and repeated price increases make the process unnecessarily stressful and unreliable. While I appreciate the employee’s effort to help and follow up if the correct tires become available, the overall experience was extremely disappointing.

I’ve been a loyal Discount Tire customer for almost my entire adult life — easily 98% of the time, they’ve been my go-to for tire service. Sadly, after my recent experience, I can no longer recommend them to anyone. On Monday, 7/14/25, I went to the Mesquite, TX location to have a nail removed from my driver-side front tire. Less than 24 hours later, on 7/15/25, my vehicle suddenly became undriveable. I was stranded on the side of the road, unable to turn my steering wheel, and eventually had to be towed. After having it inspected by a trusted mechanic, I learned that critical safety components were missing — the castle nut and cotter pin on the driver’s side, and the cotter pin on the passenger side. These are not parts that simply fall off — they were either not reinstalled properly or missed entirely during service. If this had happened at highway speeds, it could have been fatal. When I realized Discount Tire was the last shop to touch my wheels, I reached out to the regional manager, who forwarded me to the claims department. I had to repeat my story from the beginning because he hadn’t provided them with any details. I followed every step they requested — including paying a mechanic to inspect and document the damage, and submitting a repair estimate. I truly believed they would take responsibility. Instead, my claim was denied with no valid explanation, and no accountability for the technician’s negligence. It’s heartbreaking to know that decades of loyalty mean nothing, and that they are unwilling to own up to mistakes that put customers’ lives at risk. If you value your safety and the safety of your family, think twice before trusting Discount Tire. Because of their negligence, my family’s safety was put in extreme danger, my trust was shattered, and I was forced to take out an unnecessary car loan just to have a reliable vehicle again.
