I came for two tires and a rotation for my Nissan. They claimed one of the lug nuts was a “Honda one” and stripped my wheel. I had just had the tires removed and placed back on the month prior at NTB and they had no issues. Nor was there any lug-nuts different from the rest. I was sent on my way (missing said lug-but from my wheel) with a lug-nut in hand that was not even close to the same size as my others. Leaves me wondering where the original went and why it wasn’t returned to me. They sent me to brakes plus who wanted to charge me $250 to fix this problem. Luckily, I went back to NTB who only charged me $50. Over torquing my wheel and then expecting me to pay to fix the damages is insane. I will never go back to this place again.

I don’t know much about cars, but he took the time to explain everything and really helped me understand what my car needed. He was efficient, professional, and super helpful. *****Discount Tire company is fraud*****, they are monitoring our cars while going for tire pressure check and doing marketing for replacement tire. I don't trust these guys. Their strategy is to capture all local car data and doing business. *** Please be aware**** not to go for discount tire for any reason on tire issues. Staff are so arrogant, never trust these guy’s especially on Preston road Texas location. I had very bad experience. I went for tire pressure check 4 weeks before and they gave me quote for back two tires Tesla performance model Y tire threads are (4). Today 09/12/2025, I have taken appointment for flat tire and they quoted my tires under tire threads (2) and for safety reasons they didn't fix flat tire and provide quote to change all 4 tires which is fraud. This is ridicules, Will Michelin tire threads will come down from (4) to (2) with in month, In that case everyone should change car tires for every six months. If we ask question to discount tires, they say safety reason which is bull shit. Do I need file complaint or sue legally to Michelin company or Discount tires?

From start to finish my service was excellent. I ordered tires in with the help of Jose. I set an appointment on a Saturday, their busiest day. When I dropped my car off at my scheduled time they immediately got to work on it while I walked across the street and ate some breakfast. Before I even finished eating I received the text that my vehicle was ready to go! Amazing service and friendly staff, I will definitely return.

This new location and staff is horrible and inexperienced! We walked out of our appointment due to the lack of common sense at this location. My husband has been coming to Discount Tire for over 10 years. We were really optimistic coming here. My husband had an 8:15am appointment and we got there right at 8:00am. Jose didn’t even acknowledge our presence. I told my husband to wait until Jose could help him and I decided to wait in another line for Blake to see if his line would be faster. Blake was able to help us sooner but he was severely incompetent and had an attitude with us. I clearly said “I am checking in for our 8:15am appointment.” He asked for my husband’s number and claimed he couldn’t find him in their system. So if that’s the case, why would ya’ll text us a million times to confirm our appointment? Make it make sense. He had my husband’s account pulled up the ENTIRE TIME!!! We were so agitated that we walked out. The staff in the shop also looked very inexperienced and confused. Bunch of headless chickens running around. We were not going to trust them with our truck. Jose and Blake need more training. We will not be coming back to this location ever again.

My wife brought our vehicle in for a routine tire rotation on a set of tires we purchased from Discount Tire that are rated for 60,000 miles. At the time of the visit, the tires had only 17,000 miles on them. Instead of rotating the tires, she was told they were already too worn to rotate, and they immediately tried to sell her new tires. After just 17,000 miles! To make matters worse, one of the tires had a nail in it. They refused to repair it and sent her away without offering any meaningful help. They didn’t even offer to put on the spare so she could safely get somewhere that would assist her. The entire interaction felt like a sales pitch rather than customer service. Once she declined to purchase new tires, the willingness to help seemed to disappear.

I'm a lifelong Discount Tire customer, but for the first time in 20 years, this location today had a 3 hour wait to fix a tire. The young kid at the free air fill station gets 5 stars, super nice. Thankfully I went across the street to NTB, they repaired my Discount Tire bought tire for free in under an hour. Both locations were just as busy. This is the first and last time I'll visit this location. I'll never recommend it to anyone I know.

ADVICE TO ALL READING THIS: TAKE PHOTOS OF ALL 4 WHEELS/RIMS BEFORE DROPPING OFF. Or avoid discount tire completely if you can. Dropped off my car for 4 new tires end of August. This is not my normal Discount location since I was visiting from out of town. I pick up my car, start to head back to Austin. When I stop for gas I notice both driver side rims had massive FRESH scratches on them. I call, they claim they do not have cameras to check, and that it wouldn’t it be possible for that to happen. They told me I’d have to come back but they wouldn’t be able to do anything anyway. Being 2 hours out of town already I cannot go back and am extremely frustrated. My rims are $385 each. I end up giving them the benefit of the doubt for peace of mind…. Fast-forward to current, Friday Nov 28th, I have to go to Discount Tire in Austin for a single damaged tire. This time I took a photo of my entire wheel before drop off. When I pick up my car I check my wheel BEFORE EVEN GETTING IN MY CAR… lone-behold there is a massive chip out of my rim. I speak to the manager, show him the pictures and show him my car. When he see’s the chip, without hesitation or question he confirms that they damaged my rim and proceeded to order me a new one. I have no doubt that this Frisco location did in fact damage my driver side rims in August and find it extremely disrespectful to dismiss it.

Unfortunately I’ve had to come here 3 times recently for nails in my tires. Each time the employees are professional, polite, and thorough. I never have an appointment so a couple times I’ve had to wait a couple hours (which I find reasonable since this place is always packed). But they always meet their expected time and, once, I waited only 20min to get new tires. I will literally pass by other discount tires to come to this one.

I have never had a more pleasant experience than what I encountered here. I called to inquire about some new tires for my car. I spoke with Sam, who took time to answer my questions and concerns. As a recently divorcee, I had no clue what would be best for me. He was very understanding and extremely patient with me. After EVERY question I posed, I was able to make a decision that was not only save, but affordable! I know there's sometimes the stereotypical thought that women are often taken advantage of when they are totally clueless; as I was, but this was clearly NOT the case! I was soo impressed, I asked to speak with the Manager, Matt who confirmed that their customers are ALWAYS their top priority! I would definitely recommend Discount Tires to anyone, especially the Preston Rd location!

They came in this morning and the manager Matt called me and told me they were in and he was able to fit me in today before noon and was in and out quickly. I recently moved to the Frisco area and needed a tire rotation and balance. I’ve been a Discount Tire customer for over 15 years, visiting more than 20 locations across four different states. Before coming here, I checked the reviews for this store and was a little concerned, but I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, the line was long, with three or four team members checking customers in. This location is definitely busy by far the busiest one I’ve ever been to, but the check-in process was smooth and efficient. I had an 8:45 am appointment and was completely finished by 9:10 am Customer service here was fine. Nothing spectacular, but they weren’t rude either. Honestly, I think they’re just overworked because of how busy this location is. At other Discount Tire stores I’ve been to, the service has felt a little more top-notch and welcoming. Overall, I had a positive experience with no issues. I’d recommend taking the negative reviews with a grain of salt and trying it for yourself. Just make an appointment, and I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
