I bought four new Michelin Tires at Costco (Frisco) for my 5-series BMW earlier this month. A couple of weeks later, I found 3 balance weights on my garage floor (which should never happen). Had to take the car back in for them to re-install weights and re-balance the tires. Upon collecting the car, I found disgusting black grease/oil fingerprints on my inside door handle (see photo). This is just infuriating that they do this and then I have to spend time to clean it. If this is how they treat aspects of you your car you can easily see, imagine how they treat parts of your car you can't see. Last time for me ever using this Costco tire center.

I LOVE Costco. But the tire center compared to discount tire, nope. It’s like the DMV Without all the fun. Arrived at 10:30 AM. Dude says it would be three hours. Now they say it’ll be another two total of 5 hour wait to rotate tires. Discount tire is nowhere near that bad.

We had a trip the next day and noticed a nail in the tire. Samonta got us in and was able to repair the tire even though they were super busy. Awesome customer service and save our vacation!

Hopefully you don't deal with Apollo at the front desk. Definitively doesnt have the customer service touch youd expect. I came in for a tire rotation, like many people I have multiple cars and did not recall which one I had bought new tires for and the tire rotation lifetime service.I had to ask him 3 times to please look up the information. Turns our the car I needed the service for had received a tire rotation before but I did not have lifetime rotations, something I was willing to purchase however, without looking at any sort of schedule he said I could wait 4 hours and that he had no appointments until a week out. He never bothered to tell me if perhaps the next day or a better time im genral or about other stores etc. Throughout the enotire interaction he avoided any sort of eye contact. I've had great service at this location in the past, from other front desk service folks. This review is specifically regarding this individuals lack of tact amd customer service. You could tell he just did not want to be bothered by another simple rotation. Last I checked this was a tire shop.

Poor service.. takes hours even after having appointment. Staff doesn't treat customers with respect or may be discrimination against people of color. Need more diversity in tire center staff at least for the ones who interact with customers. Not going to this tire location again. Expect better from Costco.

It's Costco! That's my thoughts on any products from Costco but the tire center is something that I will not be returning to. The tire pricing is similar to other well known companies but if you ever need to use the "road hazard" from Costco.. be prepared to not be happy as it's a joke. I am use road hazard as we'll replace the tire if you have a nail stuck in it that cannot be fixed at no extra charge for the new tire. Costco's version of road hazard is we'll prorate you. I'm definitely not happy with this kind of service after paying over $450. Per tire x4.

Don't come to this tire center location expecting Costco level service and quality. Whether it is tire service under warranty or tire service appoitment, this place is a rip-off. They ask to wait for 2 hours if you have an appointment and 4 hours if you do not have an appointment. They gave 50% credit on one of my tires which was ripped off in road. The tire has only run for 13,000 miles and it had a 70,000 mile warranty. They said for road warranty they look at tread depth which is 6/10 now. Really? in 13,000 miles if that much is worn of, doesn't that require more answers to be given.

CautionOn July 19th 2024, made an appointment to have my Michelin tires rotated. I purchased these tires at Costco on 11/21 they had about 18.000 miles on them. After my car was there over an hour, Omar called and said they could not rotate my tires do to improper wear, which must have happened since 5.000 miles ago, with no mention of this issue last rotation at Costco. Omar also told me my tires were not eligible for any warranty. I must buy all new tires. Once I go to pick up my car, I speak with Shelby, who says the same thing, my car must need an alignment, to which I say it doesn’t. However he does offer me $$81 for 2 of my tires. These tires didn’t even get 20.000 miles, and they are warranted for 40:000. Just caution using big box. No service argued with me that it was my cars fault. .Customers have no recourse.

Same story as everyone. Walked in at 940am (opens 930) for rotation and balancing even though I had a appointment the same day at 2pm (from last week). Had to walk in because I had a sudden funeral that I had to attend. Yet, over hours in my car hasn't even been pulled in yet. I go outside and see they went way past my number in serial....

Customer service is abysmal, just across the board. A simple tire rotation means hours lost, yet it gets worse when you find that simply trying to call is impossible. I’ve been trying to call, for half an hour with no response. Another example is a seeming inability to patch a tire (nail through the center of the tread), unfortunately not even the third try was the charm. Trying to get any type of assistance has been a long standing struggle for me and my family. It’s worth buying tires somewhere else

Costco tire services are very poor quality of service. Simple reasons for this review: 1. The lines take FOREVER. They move extremely slowly - even if you have an appointment. 2. Getting an appointment is challenging. It takes about 2 weeks at a minimum to get a tire rotation scheduled. 3. Everytime you go for a tire rotation, they tell you that the tires are worn out, and that they need to be changed. The best part is, I have bought tires from Costco only. 4. An average auto center visit is going to require at a minimum 2 hours! Am never going there again.

Don’t go to this place and expect Costco level customer service or experience. You’ll get disillusioned in 5 min or less. I went there thinking I’ve best case to claim warranty on my tires and they went above and beyond with their lies to deny warranty. I got my tires serviced on schedule per my manufacturer recommendations and I proved that with service reports. After multiple visits and waiting time, they had a talk with manager behind a door and denied my claim. Never going to Costco again for tire service!!

Do not recommend Tire Center, not worth time or money. Been Costco executive member for a couple of years and the service I am getting for brand new set of tires is terrible. Made an appointment to get tire repaired again (3rd time) and they keep repairing instead of replacing. One problem after another, regret getting tires from Costco. SAM's club tire center have way better service and customer satisfaction than Costco. Probably will be cancelling or downgrading membership. If any of the managers / exec reading this review. Bumping up the membership price for low quality of service is not acceptable.

I had the worst experience at this tire shop. The service was slow, and they did not attend to cars in the order they arrived. The technicians seemed untrained and were unable to meet my tire needs. I highly recommend saving your time and money by avoiding this Costco tire service center.

Not worth the time or money. I purchased a set of four tires from Costco, and on the way home, I noticed that something was off. It became clear that the tires were not properly installed. One tire lost pressure almost immediately, raising serious concerns about safety and quality control. Had the make trip back with deflated tire.Very disappointing experience for what should have been a routine service.

Male staff receiving members needs good customer service training. The lady is nice, but the man, needs to be more customer friendly. Doesnt talk to you in polite way, his face and the way he talk, will not encourage you to speak up nor ask more questions. This is my 3rd time dealing with him, same attitude. Ps: the crews doing the dirty jobs outside are really kind and polite.

I went in for tire rotation, they suggested mew tires which I got installed (highest priced ones in stock), but they left a dark stain with their gloves on the interior headliner near the sun visors. This is the SECOND time this happened to me. It's very difficult to clean and is an eye sore.

Got a flat 6:10pm, thought I was lucky to be 1.5 mi away from Costco Tire Center. Wait 15min in line to talk to customer service, 6:30pm they could not help me repair the flat because at this time they are not taking more walk ins as they had 5 cars in the bay. However, they close at 8:30pm. Could they really not help me? Don’t count on them. Edit: 6:46pm, only 2 cars left in bay, still well away from closing… hard to appreciate the customer service.

We've had whole set of tires changed at Costco a couple of times. And we've had great experiences at Frisco Costco's tire center over the years: from flat repair, inflation help, tire sensor replacement, regular balance & rotation, etc etc. We came to ask about one tire today, after all four tires inflated just one tire still appears a bit low on tire pressure (was at a different Costco's tire center yesterday but did not get much help at all so the tire pressure sensor came back up again). The team members at Frisco's tire center check me in quickly, and within an hour they completed the tire repair and double checked all the inflation on all tires (came in early afternoon on a weekday makes a big difference on wait time because they are usually really busy). Thank you so very much, Everyone, at Frisco Tire Center. Highly recommended!

The tires rotation and balance service seems scammy. I had an appointment for 6:15 - an hour later they pulled the car in. They say it takes an hour to 90 mins. Nowhere in the confirmation email does it even show that - else I would plan accordingly. I showed the email to these people working - they didn’t care. They just said 30-45 mins - do you still want the service? I guess these are the times when there is no more care about customer service. This just sucks.
