AC stopped blowing cold and Dons got us in quickly, assessed the situation, added new freon with a dye and had us come back two weeks later. Nothing has leaked since so they said if it stops blowing cold again come on back. The service was reasonably priced and great customer service. Will be coming back!

I was pleasantly surprised by the great care I received at Dons because I had never used them. After 3 places were too busy to look at my car on Friday around noon, Don's agreed to look at my Enclave with the check engine light glowing. They were so nice, especially the lady at the front. They sent us down the street to have lunch, texted during lunch with the problems, then had them fixed when we returned. I know they can't provide this level of service to everyone, but they were real lifesavers for us!

Absolute, and extremely helpful personnel!! Being a mechanic myself in the past for a number of years, they utilized almost mirrored diagnostics from a dealership perspective. Provided, without question, diagnostic pictures, professional insight, in depth knowledge of multiple makes and models of vehicles and gave immediate input of what was wrong and how to rectify the issue in a VERY timely manner. Brought my car in because of a loud rattling noise I was hearing from the outside of it while driving at low speeds. Received a diagnosis and estimate for a minor suspension repair and to my delight, everything was fixed up on the same day. Unfortunately, it appears that no one test drove the car afterward, because the noise had not stopped or even improved on my drive home. On a hunch, I decided I would take a look myself before taking it back to the shop the following week as they suggested I do when I let them know that the sound was not fixed and it turns out there was a $6 screw missing from my caliper. Once I replaced it, the sound went away completely. At that point, with my problem solved, I didn't see any reason to need to take my car back. I called to follow up and let them know that I had resolved the issue and what it was and received a resounding "okay". Was the several hundred dollar repair job necessary? Maybe. There's really not a way for me to be sure. But it certainly didn't fix my problem. I mostly disappointed at the amount I had to pay for a repair which provided zero resolution to my issue which ended up being a 10 minute fix.

My husband and I have been loyal customers of Don's Automotive since we moved to the area. We liked them because they seem to be honest and provide good services. However, this might be the last time we take our cars here. I took my car in 2 weeks ago for a state inspection. It failed because the windshield wipers were torn and had to be replaced and they also recommended to change to air filter. We got quoted almost 300$ for all the services. Excuse me? Help yourself Googling how much these parts cost and how much time it takes to change them (my car is a 2012 Honda, nothing fancy). My husband decided to take the car back, it took him 5 mins to do the work. One good thing is they said they'll charge only 1$ for reinspection within 14 days. They almost charged us 20$ again even though we mentioned multiple times about our situation when booking the appointment and dropping the car off, I'm glad that my husband spoke up.
