Was driving into San Diego Friday evening from Los Angeles for a little weekend road trip when my Mk1 Audi TT developed a bad misfire. Pulled over and searched for a shop with good reviews, that was familiar with VW/Audi AND was OPEN ON A SATURDAY. Luckily found Dragonfly was right in the area I happened to be in. Walked in Saturday morning shortly after they opened with no appointment. Luckily they had availability to take me in. Got me diagnosed (bad coil) and repaired IN THE SAME DAY, ON A SATURDAY NO LESS. Had needed parts on hand. Amazing! Many thanks to Alejandro, Erick, and the rest of the Dragonfly team. Had a smooth drive home Sunday. Top notch from the moment I walked in. Their numerous 5 star ratings are well deserved. Can tell true car people are behind this shop. Please don't hesitate to come here.

Terrible service was given the run around many times. They kept my jeep for a month promising to fix it and run the proper diagnosis but they kept pushing it forward and giving up. These people are great at running a sham business. 3 weeks for a new gas cap. They will also park your car on the street. One last thing is they will call you telling you your car is ready for pickup but no repairs have been done! I wish i could be making this up but please go to a different shop save yourself the headache i experience December of 2025.

Went in today for oil change. They would not accept my Groupon coupon or even work with me. I offered to pay any difference, they would not allow it. I paid for full synthetic oil change, apparently the coupon said no European cars...did not see that. Luckily GROUPON WAS GREAT. WILL REFUND MY MONEY. Its OK, things happen for a reason. Guess they were not the shop for me.

Enjoyed the experience! I did the oil change, and the price was well below what other shops charge. They also did a complementary comprehensive check on my vehicle and sent me a digital report. And they did not try to sell me any of the fixes that were shown on the report. Luis, at the front desk, was a pleasure to deal with, very helpful and knowledgeable. And the waiting room had a tv, comfy seats and complimentary beverages. Definitely recommend!!!

All the engine mounts failed on my Pacifica hybrid while on an epic month long road trip from Toronto, when I'm the furthest from home! Bill and his team got my Pacifica back in working order while I enjoyed the sights and tastes of San Diego. Knowing it's an engine issue I was hesitant to use an independent mechanic, but I was glad I did. They have experience with Pacifica hybrid (they had another one already in the shop) and knew exactly what to do. I highly recommend these folks for your routine maintenance if you are local to San Diego or if you are travelling and need help with your vehicle.

My car’s alternator and battery died and I was able to get my car towed to their lot for a late night drop. I spoke to Bill at Dragonfly the following day and he helped me and talked me through all my options and provided me with his best advice. When I was able to give him the green light to go ahead and get the car started, he got it done in a very efficient time and I was able to have my car back by 5pm that same day. I really appreciated their kindness and patience with me as I am no expert when it comes to cars so there were a lot of questions. I would certainly go back here!

They were so great!! I went in for oil change. They noticed something up with my coolant topped it off. I told them it was low next day and they checked it out for free the next day to give me piece of mind. Julio was excellent and really most humanistic morale mechanics I’ve ever interacted with!
