Completely misdiagnosed the issue with my car and wanted to charge me $9000 to rebuild a transmission - they then got mad at me when I asked for information about their diagnosis and codes. Took it to another reputable shop. They shared the codes with me and it was a bad solenoid on the valve cover body. Absolutely nothing wrong with the transmission.. always get a second opinion and beware of a place that talks down to you

We had a problem with work that was done 2 years ago when the new (current) ownership wasn't there. It was a $5k ordeal and the new owner made it right even though it was past warranty. I'm not going to recommend or not recommend this place as a good transmission shop because of our experience with the work and employees, but I can say for sure that the new ownership is trying to get this business under control and what he did for our family instead of telling us to kick rocks was honorable.

I had just bought a car, I’m a single mother who absolutely needs to get her kid to school and go to work and I was freaking out because my car started grinding and was just rolling terrified I was gonna have to rebuild a whole new transmission in a car I purchased a week ago HAHA AND THEY GOT IT ALL FIXED UP IN TWO DAYS! I recently brought my 2018 Honda Accord to Eagle Transmission because of a “Transmission System Problem” warning. They told me flat out that my entire transmission had failed and needed to be replaced — quoting me nearly $10,000 for a full replacement. Thankfully, I got a second opinion at the Honda dealership, where the techs did a proper diagnostic. It turned out that the transmission was perfectly fine — the real issue was just a damaged sensor harness, which cost me around $900 to fix, parts and labor included. I’m extremely disappointed in Eagle Transmission’s misdiagnosis. Not only did they try to sell me a massively unnecessary and expensive repair, but their “expert analysis” was flat-out wrong. If I had trusted them, I would’ve wasted thousands of dollars replacing a transmission that didn’t need replacing. This experience seriously calls into question their credibility, integrity, and technical skill. Either they didn’t know what they were doing, or they knowingly misled me. Neither is acceptable. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion before trusting any diagnosis or quote from Eagle Transmission. Their mistake nearly cost me a fortune — don’t let it cost you too.

I took my truck into the Denton Eagle Transmission about 3 years ago and they did a good job. I had to take my truck back this past week for an adjustment and I've got to tell you Kyle and Kenny have taken the Customer Service to a completely new level. They were outstanding.They kept me updated with phone calls and text messages and were very prompt with fixing my truck. On a scale of 5, I would absolutely rate the Denton Eagle Transmission a 10. I took my 69’ C-10 to Eagle Transmission on 7/21/2022. It had been leaking and I wanted to have them replace all of the seals and gaskets. They called me and told me it was ready. I showed up and there was a huge puddle of transmission fluid under my truck and the battery was dead. The dipstick tube was the wrong one and they didn’t mention that it needed to be replaced so the fluid leaked from there. The ignition was left in the accessory position which drained the battery. Upon getting it home I noticed that the transmission leaked worse than before. I brought it back in and they attempted to seal the dipstick tube with sealant. Once again, I went pick it up and found it with a dead battery. It has been over two years since I had the service and I haven’t been able to afford to get another shop to fix it. Since then I have repeatedly cleaned up fluid from a catch pan under the transmission. I have tried to bring it in several times and the manager isn’t in when I am available. I didn’t plan on posting a review since so much time has elapsed but I ended up finding someone to rebuild my transmission and saved up for it. When he reported back that it was missing bolts, the mounts were damaged, and he had to replace all of the seals, I couldn’t believe that Eagle had let me leave their shop with my truck like that. It was at that point I decided to write this review. This truck means.a lot to me and I expected that Eagle would have done more to make it right.

If you plan to use this transmission shop, I strongly recommend recording every conversation you have with Kyle. I had my transmission replaced here three years ago and recently had to replace it again. Kyle originally told me they would “stand behind their work” and help cover some of the costs. Over the phone, he quoted me $4,200 to rebuild the transmission. I paid that amount in full. When I went to pick up my truck yesterday, Kyle suddenly said I still owed an additional $2,100. I reminded him that we had spoken multiple times and that he had quoted me $4,200, which I had already paid. His response was, “Do you have proof of that?” I even showed him a text where he said he had “really good news” about the cost, but he dismissed it and insisted I provide proof of the $4,200 quote. Since most of our conversations were over the phone and I didn’t record them, I had nothing else to show. Kyle came across as very disorganized and forgetful. When I asked why he didn’t write down notes or provide a written quote, his reply was simply, “It’s too busy to keep notes.” I would’ve never paid them to do this if they would’ve originally quoted me 6300. I’m still waiting for them to do some research and at least call and apologize

let me start this by saying kyle is wonderful. his communication was unmatched and his customer service goes above and beyond. he answered all of my questions, no matter how many times i called, and even met me after hours to make sure i got my vehicle when i was able. on the other hand, i paid 8k to have my transmission rebuilt and my sway bar wasn’t attached correctly when i got the car back. drove halfway to arkansas when it completely detached and was hanging off my car. i had to have it fixed at a dealership there and missed work for several days. it was a huge inconvenience. you would think if you’re paying half of what the car is worth to get it fixed it would be done right the first time.

I have a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer original 261,000 miles. I thought the tranny was blown until I took it to Eagle Automotive and Transmission. They were able to fix it and NOT A rebuild especially being on Social Security. It was very affordable. I recommend them they tell you like it is and don't hem haw around and beat the bushes!
