I can not thank these guys enough. I have had 2 vehicles that I have brought to them. Both were done correctly and fast. The second one my 2010 Nissan Altima just needed a quick adjustment which with no appointment was taken care of in minutes while i was there. THESE GUYS ARE AWESOME HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Father and son operation. Very professional and honest. They take the time to accurately diagnose transmission issues. Sometimes they seem to be overwhelmed but that's because they are popular and short on staff. Better than other shops I have experienced in the area.

Will not take accountability for actions. Locked up motor/caused a no start situation in family's truck by simply putting clutch or flywheel in wrong. Transmission was bad and had 1st gear only but truck ran in 1st before. Well, they failed to put it in correctly. If clutch/ flywheel is backwards it can essentially lock it up in a 4.0 stick shift ford motor. Truck never started after we took it back here immediately after and we basically were turned away. Truck ran PERFECT before it came. Magically stopped running after it was taken apart at the shop. Unbelieveable unaccounted for screw ups. Forced to pay off trans loan on a non running truck for nothing! Forced to sell for a fraction of its value months later nobody cared! Go here if u want to throw your money away and made out to be your fault that the car wont start after a trans job (with a brand new battery) But could never be the mechanic who touched it last.. excuses. Good reviews were sucessful jobs! Screw ups are covered up by all employees at the shop! Too busy worrying about paying someone to fix their own screw up, would rather lose a customer and have a bad reputation than own up to it. This is why nobody trusts mechanics in florida.

THE WORST MECHANIC ! I brought my car a month ago, with an engine light on and thinking something was off with the transmission. After a week, they told me the problem was my PCM board was off and they need to give me a new one. Afte 2 weeks of having this people telling me that the company they bought the PCM was not giving them the support to install it, finally we decided to get the car out the shop, 3 weeks trying to contact a 3rd party was too much. So Javier the owner told me " I am putting your PCM board back and you take your car" okay we paid them the total they invoiced us and took our car to another mechanic, our surprise was, that when the other mechanic tried to start my car, the car was dead. So then the new mechanic told me how Javier told the tow guy, that the PCM in my car was the one that he WAS UNABLE to connect, because he was unable to find the original my car had. When I call this shop to ask why they never told me, why they never communicate to us "the customer" they had the audacity to tell me that the call was being recorded and that they " GAVE ME FOR FREE" the PCM that my car has now the one they were not able to install, they even said that I can sue them, and continue hanging the phone on me, everytime I was asking for an explanation on why they never told me until now I am calling? Is this not something you as a mechanic should do? tell the customer what is going on? being responsible and professional and take responsability for your work? This is not a professional business, nor the owners. They took my money and gave me a car back that is in worst condition than I originally brought it in. BEWARE of this place.

This is the best shop I have ever been in. I have been bringing my cars here for a while now and one of the things I never have to worry about, is having to bring in my car again for the same issue. Every single time the shop fixes something, I never have problems with it again. That says a lot about the impeccable work that they do. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Honest, fair and quality work. Had a transmission replaced with a used one. Called many places and was most comfortable with talking to this place. Got vague estimates from other shops that started much higher on a rebuild. I was concerned about additional costs and Economy did a good job explaining possible other costs and were still better priced than other places. They did a great job in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place.

A few months ago I had been having an issue with my transmission among a few other things, car couldn't drive long distances before giving me problems. I took it to Economy Transmission and they replaced my transmission and fixed my battery issue at a fraction of the price of the dealership. It's been running smooth ever since. They are a family business and have been in Hernando County for many years with an honest, positive reputation. They offer affordable prices and are very personable. I'm really happy I found this company. The owner helped me with a valvebody I was rebuilding & I brought my Jaguar in to service the transmission as well . The car was having issues going into reverse and very hard shifts. After changing the fluid and replacing the seals the car rides like a dream again. The car was ready in one day as well. I highly recommend the company to anyone needing transmission services . Foreign or domestic . Thanks again

Very disappointed with this company. They had such good reviews and portrayed themselves as an honest repair facility, but in the end they refused to stand behind their work. I had them replace the transmission in my 2014 Jeep overland They charged me $7800 for the work Everything was fine for a few days then the 4WD quit working. I took it back and they told me my 18 month old transfer case was the issue. I took it to the dealer and they found a connector that had been broken. The connector was between the transmission and the transfer case. I took the jeep back to economy and they told me the dealer was lying and the connector wasn’t broken. Again they refused to take any accountability. Took the jeep back to the dealer. They replaced the connector and the jeep is fine now. The dealer charged me over $400 for the repair. I sent pictures of the connector and the technician notes to economy. They remain steadfast that the dealer is lying to me and that they did nothing wrong. When I took my jeep in the office manager admitted that they had never worked on this type of transmission before. Should have been a red flag, but I decided to trust them. Obviously a mistake. Guess now we’re off to credit card dispute and if necessary small claims court This is what’s wrong with the world today. No accountability :( Marcos. Here is the pic and the statement from the dealer who fixed the issue. I dropped the BBB claim because the credit card company refunded my money. All you had to do was acknowledge you made a mistake and fix the issue Funny you didn’t noticed $478 missing from your account
