They charged be 65.00 to diagnose my power steering pump and determind it was the pump and not a hose. They was going to charge me 600.00+ to replace the Pump. I took the vehicle to another shop which found a leak in the hose not the pump! Be careful with this new management and mechanics.

This isn't anything personal directed at the management or general staff but I also seldom give reviews. I dropped off my car because there was a grinding sound under my clutch. They diagnosed it as requiring the engine mounts to be torqued down. I payed over $845.00 for the job. They told me it was good for pick up and that a technician had driven it so it was safe. When I went to pick it up, the car kept shutting down everytime I came to a stop. I brought it back and they said they'd take another look at it. The next day they requoted me for a clutch replacement. It ended up coming to another $1844.42 not including what was previously paid. It was steep but I felt that the best option was to go forward rather than taking the car as is. They kept at it for a week and a half after they kept saying it'd be ready by Wednesday, and then by Friday and then come back Monday. I finally got my car back after they tried to get me to fix my alternator for another $350. Frankly this is the first mechanic I have been to where I felt less safe in my car after the repairs. Would not recommend.

This location is reliable and knowledgeable. I now take my personal vehicle for my maintenance needs as they take care of my employer's fleet vehicles and they are close are close to our office, which is a bonus. Thank you for what y'all do and we appreciate you!

I was not at Ed’s for a repair. I was there for state inspection! They were great. The line was short, the wait was short. They were efficient & personable. It was easy to get an appointment time too! Thank you for a great experience.

I have been going to this shop since before my 14yr old daughter was born. NOWHERE ELSE! Had a strong relationship with the prior manager Rock before he retired. Now I get oil changes and my truck tells me that the oil is all gone or low within weeks and I dont drive far at all! Plus my truck leaks at times all of a sudden as if the mechanic isn't tightening the oil release. Every other oil change! Today I had an issue and the employee, or manager now, had the nerve to insinuate the work wasn't done by them. How sir, I don't take my vehicles anywhere else for work but Ed's, this specific location! The fact that he had the audacity to insinuate as he did ticked me off! As if I was trying to dupe them out of paying for the work. I pay my dues, never will I try to get over when I honestly owe someone something, thats vile! And for him to insinuate that with the words he used as his defense is vile! Then he had the nerve to walk away from my wife (as I was on the phone) and say he wasn't going to argue about the situation! Eventhough he was completely wrong and inaccurate! Terrible service on his behalf!!!! From now on, I will deal with the lady that's normally there, if I decide to continue my loyal patronage with them!

This place is a joke! Take your vehicle someplace else now! Don’t get any service here! They are friendly on the phone but will make everything your problem or charge you hundreds of dollars more for their own incompetence and refuse to take ownership of their mistakes. The only thing we ask for when paying for a service is for it to be done correctly. Simple, right?! What I can guarantee you’ll get at this shop…mediocre service, subpar work and an employee who hangs up on you when you try to voice your concerns! Heed my warning! Don’t let these people do work on your vehicle or you WILL be visiting them again! GO ELSEWHERE!!!

Hands down the best place ever for your car needs. I was in and out and they actually cared about the safety of my vehicle and making sure it was good to go for inspection. I will definitely be returning.

I was in a pickle and needed help if it wasn’t for Megan with the beautiful colorful hair, I would have thought the shop was close from the street. So I circled back and they took care of my issue in a timely manner in order for me to make my flight. Thank you and welcome your new customer.

Ed's is definitely a go to spot. Before doing any repairs, they send you a diagnostic inspection report with pictures so that you can see the damage. They also send a self-selecting cost sheet so that you can review it and decide what services you want done. The staff is nice, knowledgable and accommodating and their prices are competitive.

These guys went above and beyond my expectations. I ordered tires for my truck and after about an hour of doing research, they didn't have the tires in stock after all. Instead of trying to sell ne a different tire, they found them 3hrs away and drove the six hours there and back to get the tires I wanted. That was very unexpected. Thank you much for the effort!

I was extremely satisfied with the service I received at Ed's Tire. The staff was professional and completed the work as promised. I appreciated that all work was communicated to me before being done and the pricing was fair compared to what I had researched online. I will definitely return to Ed's Tire for any future car issues.

I had another good experience with Ed's on Raeford. I called ahead and decided to leave my car as we were leaving town for a long weekend. The car was inspected within an hour of opening and finished a couple of hours later. I needed new brakes all around. The pricing was fair and Meagan was the nicest person to deal with. Every call and return call with her was pleasant and reassuring. She offered additional details of my car problems and she was very accommodating regarding my schedule. Thanks guys! I'll be back!

Ed's Tire at 2902 Raeford Road, Fayetteville, NC are the most professional professionals I have ever had work on my vehicles. They took my vehicles in, diagnosed everything wrong with them, notified me, did the work on them and had them done quicker than anyone who has ever worked on them. Their work is superb. Everyone who works there is outstanding. Thank you Ed's for being in business to help us. James Backus

I have not once ever had a bad experience with Ed’s Automotive. I’ve been here a few times & each time I’ve found the staff to be friendly, professional & honest. They are great at their job & always fair. They seem to genuinely care about helping you out as best they can. I’d recommend Ed’s over any auto shop in Fayetteville if I’m being honest. Fair prices, good people!

The front desk was pleasant and also honored a coupon I forgot at home! Service was timely and after checking my receipt the material used seemed to be of high quality. Starting my vehicle in cold weather dose not bother me now because I can’t hear the valves tapping 😇

Absolutely the WORST experience I’ve ever had with a tow operator. I gave very clear instructions for my vehicle to be placed on the right side of my driveway so I would still have access to my garage. When the driver arrived, I reminded him as he was unloading the car. Instead of fixing the mistake, he told me to “call another tow,” refused to move it, and literally slammed the truck door in my face before speeding off. Now my vehicle is blocking my garage, and when I called the company to resolve the issue, they said they were dismissing it. Their refusal to correct their mistake means I either have to pay for another tow or go without access to my own garage. Completely unprofessional, rude, and irresponsible service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to ANYONE.

I came to them with a 2007 Chevy Colorado , less than 60,000, which wouldn't start even when jumped--even though I replaced the battery a year before. Given it was the starter, a 6 hr job, they brought me home and back-- no charge and wouldn't accept tips. Mentioned my cruise control was out and that previously it had affected the brake lights. Originally, they told me to come back in 2 days to access. However, upon discovering that NONE of my break lights worked, they replaced the break light switch before I left-- even though it was past 4pm. They have excellent customer service and care about their customers' welfare. BTW: I had my truck towed to their place at 630pm the day before and met it using an Uber that morning at before 0800 am. When they saw me waiting in the weather, they opened early.

This place is not safe! I brought my vehicle in for new tires and an alignment. After the alignment, the car pulled hard to the right. I later discovered the tire pressures were completely uneven side-to-side — something that should never happen, especially when an alignment is involved. I returned and they performed another alignment. After that, the steering wheel was visibly cocked to the right while driving straight, indicating the alignment was not done correctly. When I called the shop to explain that the car had just been there, that the original tire pressures were wrong, and that the alignment still wasn’t correct, I asked to discuss the money I paid for the alignment. Instead of listening, Matt immediately became defensive, said a refund was not happening because they had already done two alignments, accused me of talking over him, and then hung up on me. I called back and spoke with a different employee. When I asked for Matt, I was told he was unavailable. This person was far more agreeable and said she would “process” a refund that could take up to 14 days and that I “should” receive a confirmation. No confirmation was provided. This did not feel like a genuine resolution. While I was waiting at the shop, an elderly woman wearing a respirator came in and said she had recently gotten an oil change there and now her car was smoking. The shop told her her valve cover gasket was “destroyed,” repeatedly said it wasn’t anything they did and that it “just happened,” and then quoted her $775. Between improper tire pressures, an alignment left with the steering wheel off-center, hostile customer service, inconsistent responses about refunds, and what I personally witnessed with another customer being pushed toward an expensive repair immediately after routine service, I have serious concerns about the quality of work and customer safety here. I will not return and strongly recommend others go elsewhere.
