I went to this shop because they were in my cars extended warranty network. I have extreme anxiety going to auto shops because I have been swindled before many times, but that was not my experience here at all. They did not waste time, they kept me informed of what they were doing as I waited, they were professional and knowledgeable, and I was on my way with my car fixed even sooner than they estimated. Mark was especially helpful and went out of his way to show me what the problem was. This was a much better experience than I had bringing my car to the dealership. I will be recommending to anyone in my area asking for a referral because I feel like I found one of the few honest mechanic shops. Thank you!

My QX 50 Infiniti would start and turn off I did not know what was wrong with it. I took it in to the shop and Mark and his team were very helpful they did find out what was wrong with my car and they kept me in the loop every step of the way to what they were doing. Come to find out it was my turbo charge. I would highly recommend they are pleasant great customer service and very honest which you don’t get all the time especially when you’re a female.

Last Saturday, I visited the shop and was warmly greeted by Victoria. Her friendliness, honesty, and ability to make me feel at ease stood out immediately. Many shops I’ve been to are staffed mostly by men, which can sometimes feel intimidating. Out of this world experience!! Mark, Matt, Mike and the whole crew are awesome. I ended up being sold a car with a bad engine the warranty company denied my claim but that didn’t stop Essential Auto from going above and beyond to get my car fixed. They kept in constant contact with me keeping me up to date. Extremely knowledgeable and extremely fair pricing made this an experience to remember. They made a customer for life. I’ve never been treated so well EVER!! Thank you with all my heart

Would've been 5 star had they just fixed my simple break pads and rotars but couldn't even do that right. I picked up car and not even driving 5 minutes my wheel is shaking really bad. Wish I could show the video of my car tire legitimately shaking. I took it right back and they said it was because my tire was bad and need a new one (had no problems before this). Then the mechanic comes out and tells me it was actually because a bolt to tighten the rotar was loose. To top it off I had some brakes that I had bought and said to use them if possible. They didn't end using them and after a while I noticed the brakes weren't in the box. They kept the brakes I had bought and they didn't use. I went back and they had them and had I not went in they would've kept them. Long story short they are cheap compared to other shops for a reason. You get what you pay for so just spend a little more and save yourself the inconveniences.

The first time I was here they realigned my 2006 ford ranger and the second time I was here I brought in a 1998 ford ranger that was giving me smog problems. Needles to say they were able to fix all of my problems within a day! I’m very happy that I brought my trucks here, they’re trustworthy and very very honest. I went to Autozone and a man at the counter told me to check out Essential Auto Care on Boulder Highway and he said they do good service, fair pricing and fast service. Well me being a woman and woman being taken advantage of I thought i would give it a try. So 2 years later i keep going to the same mechanic Mark and Terry are Amazing they dont just tell me what the problem is like other mechanics and say this is how much its going to cost. They take me out there show me the problem and explain in deatail what needs to be done to fix the problem. So it doesnt happen again its not because they dont do good work its because my car is old. They do an AMAZING job and i could never see myself going to another mechanic. I had some hard times and wasnt able to pay and they let me make payments and still fixed my car so i could get to work. So Mark and Terry are amazing all the mechanics that work at Essential Auto Care are amazing its like one big Happy Family .

I wish I could give ZERO STARS. This place has been nothing but a complete nightmare for me and my family. If you want pieces stolen off your car and new problems that never existed before going to this shop be my guest. Also, you will be waiting for your car for WEEKS/MONTHS to be repaired! This place should be shut down and I will do everything in my power to make sure of that! From what I hear the shop is already set to be shut down/SOLD. Do your selves a favor and RUN away from this place. The price is cheap for a reason. Also another customer who has been sick in the hospital mentioned he waited 6months for his car to be fixed and then when he finally picked it up he saw they had broke his door! smh do better! GOD BLESS YOU ALL! Also enough with the FAKE REVIEWS!

Was able to walk in and get my car battery replaced in under 30 mins on a Saturday! (I know battery replacements should be quick and easy but that’s never been my experience until now) The price was very reasonable, the shop is clean, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommend!

LADIES THAT GO ALONE BEWARE!!! Went by myself to get my Mazda 3’s engine light checked out and was handed a $600+ quote for sensors, valves, and $50-$60 just for the labor? I went because of google reviews and because the receptionist seemed friendly, so seemed great. After I was handed the quote for 3 different things I mentioned how I didn’t plan to dump hundreds in one go and Id need to check with my boyfriend since he would be my main transportation and the guy said to tell the boyfriend to give them a call so they can explain something? Why would you need to talk to my boyfriend? I’m the owner… Turns out the engine light was on due to the battery needing to be replaced. Also, turns out those sensors and valves were on eBay for $15-$20. Very disappointed with this experience and the prejudice. Edit in response* Seems odd not to register someone when you handed out a quote like that.

I was referred to Essential Auto Care from a buddy of mine said they do good work get it right the first time. Everyone I referred over to Essential Auto Care has no complaints so I referred all my friends and family to them. Mark and Terry are very honest there not going to mislead you like these other mechanics that are out there will tell you it's one thing then come up with 50 million more issues to fix. And they don't sabotage your vehicle so you have to keep coming back. The mechanics that work for Essential Auto care are reliable, timely service don't have to wait for days to get your car back . They have fair pricing and will do whatever it takes to find the parts and diagnose and the fix the problem. Very people friendly and always explain what's wrong and how to fix it. I highly recommend if you have a problem with your car to go to Essential Auto Care that's where they get the job done I feel confident in the repairs and know at the end of the day there not going to rip me off.

I felt the need to leave review. I just flew in from Atlanta and got a rental car from the airport. There was a loose splash panel under the car that made a lot of noise over 40 miles per hour. I told the guys here I’d rather just pay to fix it then the drive all the way back to the airport. They fixed it for me less than 10 minutes and since it was such a simple fix, they didn’t charge me. I was willing to pay and that was definitely an uncommon experience so I appreciate you guys for doing that. Thank you a ton!
