I took my car here for years while I lived in Omaha, and now that I have moved away, I seriously miss their service. I'm going through a terrible experience with a new shop (different state), and it makes me appreciate the excellent service I was provided here all the more! I never felt like they were repairing something that didn't need it, and Tom always explained thoroughly what he was doing, and would even show me the broken parts. They also understood that I was a broke teacher and couldn't afford anything unnecessary, and I always felt like I was paying a fair and reasonable price. Yes, repairs go a little slow because they are busy, but it is so worth it for honest and affordable work.

Great family owned, local mechanic! Needed new brakes on my 2007 Ford escape and they were able to get me in very quickly, replace my brakes and get me back on the road for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend. Will be going here from now on for all my vehicle mechanical needs.

I took my jeep to excellence upon a referral and I couldn't be happier. Tom and his team are the type of mechanic everyone wants to come across. They will not perform or suggest unneeded repairs and are very transparent with preventative maintenance and next steps if you do need repairs. He definitely saved me money going to this location. I wish I would have found him years ago!

The first time I went to Excellence in auto I had Tom check out a van I was purchasing. He gave it a good going over and didn’t charge me anything. I took the van back for an issue yesterday and he fixed the problem and charged me very little. The customer service is wonderful and I am so glad to have found them. Thank you!

Life savers! I have always worked on cars at home so I have no idea what shops in Omaha are honestly priced for honest work. Thank goodness I found Tom at this shop! They ALWAYS go above and beyond for incredible prices. They do great work on my car and I refuse to take it anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and give them more business

2 of my sons are in the area on business. They're just getting started and money is tight. Their car broke down and they were stuck. This shop was recommended and they were very well taken care of! The team there took excellent care of them! The price they charged on parts and labor was much less than they could have charged and because my boys needed the car for work the shop got them in and out in a couple of hours. As a dad I'm super grateful! As a paying client I'm exceptionally impressed! I own a small business too, and customer service is EVERYTHING! I spoke to the owner on the phone and he's a great red-blooded American Army veteran, family man, and a dog lover! They treat strangers with kindness, dignity, and respect. I am pleased to give these great fellas my highest recommendation! You are safe taking your car here!

My experience was about a year and half ago and I was truly impressed with them, so much so that I referred my cousin to them when her car was having the same issues as my car at the time. My cousin first took her car to the dealer ship where she had purchased her car and they told her it would cost over $1,300. to fix it. When she told me that I told her that she was being ripped off and referred her to Excellence. They repaired her car for around $240...and it's running fine. I recommend these folks to anyone with car problems.👍👍👍

I’ve been taking my cars to Tom for about three years, and he has consistently earned my trust through his honesty and exceptional service. Tom is one of those rare mechanics who genuinely cares about his customers and never overcharges, upsells, or misdiagnoses. What first brought me to him was a car that had serious starting issues. Tom spent weeks troubleshooting it whenever he could, trying different parts and solutions. In the end, he was upfront in recommending that I replace the vehicle rather than continue spending money on repairs—and to my surprise, he didn’t charge me for the time or parts he had put in while trying to help. After years of taking my car to another place (*cough* Jensen *cough*), I was really discouraged when our 2007 Toyota Sienna minivan started having issues again. I had put almost $20,000 into our van over the past 3 years just to keep it running so we could avoid having a car payment. I was about to take it back to Jensen, but one of my long time friends suggested I take it to this place instead. I'm honestly truly thankful that I did. From the initial phone call, and all the way through the entire repair process, Tom was incredibly kind, responsive, and thorough. He took the time to explain not only what needed to happen, but he also explained the "why" in detail. He turned me away from things that I though I needed to have done as well. He also gave me reassurance that my vehicle, while older and higher in miles, is still solid and in good shape. The only reason why I had put nearly $20k into the van over the past three years is entirely because I was taking it to one of the most expensive places in town. For this repair Tom charged me less than $800, but just to compare I called Jensen Tire and had them quote the exact same job. They would have charged me more than $1,300. My mind is blown. I'll be back for sure, and I'm thankful that I've found an honest mechanic who is going to help me stop hemorrhaging money on car repairs.

Wow what an awesome experience I had. Had issues with my brakes and I dropped it off after work in the evening and my car was road ready early afternoon next day. Everyone who works here is very nice and the prices are reasonable for how quickly they fix your car with zero errors. I also appreciate they don’t attempt upsell you as well. Awesome place!

I had a perfect experience at this mechanic. All the employees were kind, attentive, and helpful. No one was condescending to me as a woman which is often my experience at any mechanic or even trying to get a part at places like AutoZone. It's a small, family run garage. They were able to take my car in day of and finish by the end of the day. Every problem was explained to me and I was given different options on solutions. The price for the fix was completely reasonable and the customer service was so good I wanted to tip the mechanic on top of it. I will recommend this place to any and everyone. Top notch work and top notch service 11/10
