I have been having my vehicles serviced at this location of Express Oil Change for more years and cars than I can remember. Despite having undergone ownership/management changes over these years, this location’s customer service has always been first rate. However, this latest crew—namely Sean and Mike—treated me with a welcoming greeting, swift attention, courtesy, respect, and kindness. Once parked in the oil change bay, I rolled the windows down to wait in the car with the battery engaged to listen to National Public Radio. Mike, I believe it was (sorry Sean if this was you), came to my open window and reached in to turn off my headlights, kindly warning me that leaving the lights on would drain my battery. I thanked him for the extra nicety that he did not have to extend, but small gestures such as this made me feel like I was a valued customer. While Mike was inflating my tires, I asked him for a recommendation on the best place to buy tires. I realized later what an idiotic question this was, being that the company is co-named Tire Engineers and sells tires. He could easily have made me feel foolish, but rather he said that he would work up a quote, and that I was free to compare their prices with other tire sales outlets. He inspected my tires and said that the two in the rear still had life to them and gave me a competitive quote on two tires, explaining that, if I were to make the purchase, I should have them installed on the rear axle and rotate the rear wheels to the front axle. He could have tried to sell me on four tires, but he gave me the most reasonable and recommended option. After paying (and receiving an unexpected discount), I mentioned to Sean that I would be back to have my soon-to-expire inspection sticker renewed. He asked if I would like to have it done now. I said sure. He explained how many vehicles were waiting before my car would be inspected and asked me to just leave the keys in the ignition. He escorted me to the waiting area and courteously reached around me and, like a true gentleman, opened the door for me. I must say, I was touched by this small gesture of hospitality. At a time when I had given up on the concept of customer service, a rare and dying art, Sean and Mike and the entire Express Oil Change crew renewed my faith that treating customers well pays off in the form of loyal, satisfied customers. Consider me one of them.

I came here a few months ago for an inspection sticker and was told my car failed inspection because my window tint was reading 37% and my brow tint on front windshield was too long. I immediately went by the place that did my tint (I had told them I wanted legal tint done) and they checked all my windows and their tool read 43%. They also told me that my window brow was legal because it was above my AS1 line on my cars windshield. I went to another inspector and was able to get a sticker the same day with no issues. I’ve used this place a few times in the past with my old car and never had an issue. I guess they thought they could swindle a female out of $20. I highly recommend avoiding this place for an inspection sticker.
