I recently moved to Champaign IL and was unfamiliar with the local auto-body and repair services. I received numerous recommendations from friends in the area to look at Fifth Dimension for the repair service. After working with insurance who conveniently also recommended Fifth Dimension, I decided to pull the trigger with this company. For a first time experience having to have auto-body repairs completed, Fifth Dimension made it easy and clear what exactly was to be expected throughout the entire process and the charges associated. From the hours and availability for drop off and pick up, to the employees who greeted me and conversed with me at the shop, I was very impressed. No question went unanswered, and the service was completed sooner than expected. Communication was effective, and not overdone like some places. On the delivery of the finished vehicle, it was absolutely spotless and looked as good, if not slightly better, as when I purchased the vehicle new. I will absolutely be recommending Fifth Dimension to family and friends moving forward, and if my vehicle just so happens to be damaged again in the future (Respectfully, I hope not!), I wont skip a beat to return to Fifth Dimension.

Fifth Dimension is the only place I’d take my baby to. They are hands down the best in CU. They not only repaired the damage, kept it in the garage until I could pick it up, detailed it inside and our-super shiny! And I have a couple new reusable totes!!

I came there for crash wrap due to someone breaking into my vehicle and destroying the moonroof. The manager came out personally himself and helped us apply the crash wrap, the crash wrap was put on weeks ago and its still on there today. You guys are great.

W-O-W! I learned about Fifth Dimension Collision Repair Inc. after I was unfortunately faced with a hit and run situation the other day (4/18/2023) that left my car (2022 VW Taos) with some not so good looking scratches and repairs needed on the passenger backside. While I was bitter about having to create a claim through insurance, I was quick to reach out to a body shop. I saw Fifth Dimension had excellent reviews and made the call. From the start Kelli, one of the people doing the secretarial work, was extremely helpful and kind. The process was approachable and straight forward and Kelli was quite helpful. They were able to get my car in a few days after calling in and worked directly with my insurance company. Emily, the other secretary, was extremely kind when I went to drop my car off. Updates were provided swiftly and the work was done with great detail. My car looked brand new and the inside was even cleaned a bit. The photos show what the damage was prior to going in and that part of my car looks brand new again. Thank you to Fifth Dimension Collision Repair! Although I hope I do not have to utilize their services again, I most certainly will recommend them to anyone in the Champaign or Urbana area. I went to the location located on Mattis Avenue.

I actually went through 5D for a few different things now, and they’ve been nothing but incredibly professional, fast, and effective at what they do. They have a solid team and have a pretty good turnover for work needing to be done. I highly recommend them. They’re a little expensive but, this is certainly a case of “you get what you pay for.” The first time they did work on my car, they fixed my bumper after someone ran into me. They were able to fix the bumper to a “like new” appearance without replacing it, and completely repainted it. The paint matched perfectly, to the point that you can’t tell it was ever repainted, and the holes completely disappeared and you would never be able to tell it was repaired. The second time, they did some personal project stuff for my car. They painted the window louvers, the side scoops, and the chin spoiler, that I wanted to install on my car. The paint, of course, matched perfectly. There was a flaw in one of the pieces unfortunately, but they repainted it free of charge with no arguments, the minute I pointed it out, and returned it to me the very next day. They also installed the parts for me after i decided that they would be able to install them faster and more accurate than I could have on my own. They did a fantastic job, perfect install. I will definitely be returning to them in the future with any and all paint, fix, or install needs that I may need doing.

Well 5D did it again! We took our 2021 Yukon Denali to 5th Dimension in Urbana to have the chrome delete done along with a Black & Blue Color Match. The Yukon was brand new and already looked amazing but the 5 D team was able to transform the amazing into stunning in just a few weeks. The amount of detail and care to each item that was paint matched for this project are too many to list so I will let the pictures speak for themselves. 5D has completed 3 vehicle paint to match projects for us over the past 3 years and also repaired damages to our company truck. No matter what the job is 5D will make sure it is perfect and we will not take our vehicles anywhere else. Review From First Project in 2018: Most people only visit a collision repair shop after a accident to have their vehicle repaired. Well I took my 2017 GMC Sierra 2500 to 5D for some paint to match accessories, mirrors, fenders, and bumpers and I was beyond impressed with the outcome! The quote was worked up quickly and very easy to understand. My vehicle was taking in the following day and from there through the next 2 weeks I was almost in daily contact with their team adding additional items to the scope of work and was never left without a quick response. I visited the shop twice during the 2 weeks of painting and accessories being installed and everything I wanted done was perfect! 5D can do it all from collisions repairs to one off one of a kind upgrades. If you want your vehicle to stand apart from the rest on the road 5D is the only place to go. Believe me if you see my truck pass you on the road you will know exactly where it was done at.

Highly recommend, they do exceptional work and go above and beyond. I brought my car to Fifth Dimension to repair a broken taillight and bumper. They were transparent about the work involved and the timeline for completion (5 days from drop off to pick up, pay half up front, etc.). The quality of the repair was perfect and they also finished everything ahead of schedule. I was especially impressed because they also washed my car inside and outside, and did some light detailing on the inside as well. My car looked almost new when I picked it up. While I hope I never need to return, I know that my car will be well cared-for if I ever do!
