I had an urgent need to get my tire repaired on a Saturday afternoon. My regular guy told me he could get me in on Friday. I called Firestone on West Main and they asked me if 4 o’clock would be OK. I was in there for 45 minutes, They charged me 20 bucks to repair the nail in my tire and I was back out and on the road. This means so much to me. I have a very busy week ahead with lots of driving and I couldn’t afford to have my car be unreliable. They were super nice. I would highly recommend them. And I’ll probably be taking my business there from now on. Lately my experience with needing various kinds of service and repairs Involves long waits and prices in four figures. I really needed a good experience and that’s what I had today.

I've used the Firestone on W. Main in Kalamazoo a couple of times now with good results. This last time I worked with Chris and Elaina. Both were very helpful. Prices were on par with what I expected and the work was done on time when it was quoted. Five stars. Would use them again for repair work.

Friendly people but I’m really disappointed with my experience here. This is not the first issue I have had with them. I brought my vehicle in for a repair and after getting it back, it had an NEW issue that was NOT present before I took it in. Instead of taking responsibility, I was told I would need to pay for additional repairs. Mind you I paid $2,000 already!!!!!!!!!!! What’s most frustrating is the lack of communication. I’ve been trying for several days to get answers about what exactly is wrong and what the cost would be, and I haven’t been able to get a clear response. I understand that mistakes can happen, but accountability and communication matter. Unfortunately, neither has been handled well in my experience. I will be going somewhere else for the repair

The work was done well and in a very reasonable time. I do have a problem with mis-estimation of the cost. The first person I talked to went through everything regarding installing my new battery and came up with a cost of $305. About an hour later, I was told that the cost was going to be $498, because an auxiliary battery also would have to be replaced. So, it comes back to the first sales associate - either he misunderstood what was going to be needed, or he deliberately gave a price that sounded reasonable, knowing all along that it was a nearly two hundred dollar underestimate. Or, he was right all along and the second saleperson jacked up the price. Neither of these situations make me want to recommend this location to anyone else

I brought my 2016 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring to this place (Firestone, W. Main St., Kalamazoo location) for a complete inspection because my son said he knew someone there (Chris) and the inspection should only cost $10. I thought that was very reasonable, so I made an appointment. The inspection took about an hour for them to check everything. I only paid $9.99! Chris was very helpful and even showed detailed pictures of the problem that needs to be fixed. I left with the paperwork showing everything they found and their suggestions on what to fix.
