We purchased a car for our daughter in February 2025. After searching for a low mileage car, we found a great match at Zeigler. Our salesman, Carlos was easy to work with, and it was going well until the sales manager was brought out during price negotiations. We very clearly stated that we did not want any of the options offered, including LoJack. On the window sticker, it was labeled as an option, not a mandatory purchase. We were told it would be removed and the price would not be included in the purchase price. Paperwork was signed with the business manager (only one digital signature was captured, declining the extended warranty and paint protection; this detail is important and will come up again soon). We took delivery and left with the car. That evening, my husband had a nagging feeling about the LoJack device, so he googled how to locate and remove the device in the make and model we purchased, and was very disappointed to find the “hard to remove” device still plugged in to a port under the dashboard on the drivers side. It took him all of 30 seconds to remove. They told us they would remove it, and did not. I then reviewed the copy of our signed paperwork and discovered that there was a document that I did not sign, accepting the LoJack fee and agreeing to the three year subscription. Remember that digitally captured signature? The exact same digital signature was copied onto the LoJack paperwork, without my permission. I contacted the manager of the dealership on the next business day, and when I was able to speak to him, he basically called me a liar and told me that there was a signed and timestamped document with my signature and that there was no way my signature could be forged. We reported the dealership to the Federal Trade Commission. I would NOT recommend this shady company, because clearly they only care about the kickbacks they get from pressuring customers into accepting LoJack. If you do purchase from them, and do not want LoJack, google how to remove it before you leave, and look through your paperwork before leaving the business manager’s office, especially if it was agreed upon to remove LoJack from the equation. They cannot legally force the purchase.

Brought my truck in for a battery issue covered under warranty only for them to have it for 2 weeks and give me updates that it was being worked on when it was never being worked on come to find out. Then claiming the warranty didn’t cover it. A lot of bad communication with the service department only to have to pay a bunch of charges out of pocket. Not a good way to get repeat customers

Very expensive, cost more here then other auto repair services. Warranty on parts also is very short. If your in a rush they were the fastest. If you can wait, Anywhere else is better.

I am not pleased with the service my fiance got this morning when she went to bring in our van to get serviced. I am not sure if the staff had a hard morning or someone else made them upset but my fiance did not deserve to be treated like she was inconveniencing the staff she felt totally disrespected normally she doesn't handles these type of things and it's because of these type of interactions. The problem I'm having I'm spending real money to get this van fixed so now I'm rethinking that is this how you treat your customers? If you're having a bad day go take a break or pass it to someone else who has a better attitude.

Last car I am ever buying from the stupid place. Forced to pay for something I didn’t want on my car. Asked to have it removed and was told that wasn’t an option and that I had to pay the extra money for it. Turns out the stupid thing doesn’t even work. They have to fully replace. Oh and don’t bother calling after 6pm. No one will answer the phones anyways. Horrible experience with this LoJack thing. Don’t force people to buy something they don’t want.

I brought in my truck for some maintenance as yet another part was failing. I owed approximately 10k on it, but for everything it needed, it would have cost me another 3k. At this point, 3k would have meant putting a total of 7k in the truck. It didn’t make sense to me. So I had it appraised, and I talked to the sales department. Adam hooked me up. While Adam made small talk, I think he picked up on the fact that I indeed was NOT having a good day, and so he shot straight and went down to talking business. Who’d have thought that I would be leasing to purchase a brand new 2026 ram? Couldn’t be me, right?

I have purchased multiple vehicles from Zeigler and always had positive sales experiences, but the service department at this location is a major disappointment. A lack of initial effort led to an incomplete diagnosis, followed by a slow repair process plagued by repeated re-diagnoses and part-ordering errors. Despite this being a relatively simple repair, there is still no definitive timeline for completion. Zeigler’s refusal to provide adequate customer service or take accountability for these delays has forced me to tow my vehicle to another Jeep dealer at my own expense. I can no longer recommend this service department; a well-run facility should ensure thorough diagnostics and timely, accurate repairs from the start.

I own a tow company in Kalamazoo and have had numerous issues with available parking spaces to put customers cars in the service area ! Apparently the owner finds it necessary to block off a large area of parking lot for his helicopter pad extremely limiting space big enough to get a tow truck in the lot let alone backing a car into a space if one is even available ! Told the person behind the service desk how unimpressed I was with the owners decision to take a 1/4 of his parking lot space for his personal helicopter pad extremely limiting! Resurvey a call minutes later stating I was not welcome to tow anymore customers cars in to their Buisness ! I’ll be recommending other Businesses to their customers that call me for a tow

Do not go to this dealership. The service department is lazy and dishonest. The paint was chipping on the rocker moldings of my 1.5-year-old Dodge Durango Citadel with only 24,000 miles. I was first told to take it to a Chrysler-certified body shop for an estimate and approval. The body shop confirmed immediately that it was a paint defect and would be covered under warranty. When I brought that paperwork back to Zeigler’s dealership, Ryan told me it wasn’t paint peeling but “chips from rocks.” Anyone with basic automotive knowledge—let alone someone working at a dealership—could see this was clearly not rock damage. He argued with both me and my brother (who works in the auto industry), insisting it wouldn’t be covered. I asked him to submit the warranty claim anyway. He said he did, but when I called Dodge corporate, they confirmed no claim had ever been submitted. Completely unacceptable customer service—and even worse to lie to a customer. I then took my Durango to another Dodge dealership. Within two minutes, they confirmed it was a paint defect and covered under warranty. Two weeks later, the repair was complete—no issues, no excuses. That’s the level of honesty and service customers deserve.
