Luis at this location first told me that there was not room in the schedule to patch my flat tire in the late afternoon on Labor Day, but then called back a few minutes later to tell me that they could fit me in. I was so so grateful to Luis and the team at Firestone Iowa City for not only finding space for me, but also for calling me back to invite me in. I was able to get home that evening after resigning myself to have stay with my in-laws for another night. Thanks everyone!

Tires didn’t look new also they tried telling me that the sensor was gonna stay on because two of the sensors didn’t match when I brought it in this was not a problem now they turn the light of it but it’s not showing the numbers also customer service why not wipe all the stuff that they used tire cleaner can’t be that expensive. This is how my tires look when they gave me my car

After our car battery died, we were able to jump it and get to Firestone, where they replaced the battery and applied a protective gel in good time, for a good price. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly, and quick.

We were driving through Iowa City on I-80 when our tire light came on. I pulled off the highway to check it and found a screw in my tire. It is Saturday at 5pm and I quickly search to find a tire store and they are all closed except this store which is open until 6pm. We were 20 minutes away. I was worried we would get their they would tell us they couldn't work on our car until tomorrow because of closing at 6pm. When I arrived at the store, there were three people in front of us and I was sure they would tell us to come back tomorrow. To my surprise the store manager said he would take of us and get us on our way that night. True to his word, we were out of the store and on our way at 6:10pm. Thank you for taking care of us.

I was 60 miles from home when my tire suddenly lost air and I had my car towed 9.5 miles to Firestone. The gentleman at the front counter took care of me right away. He didn’t have the tire I needed but called a store that did and had someone go get it right away. I was in panic mode when I arrived and all smiles when I left. These guys were fast and knowledgeable about my situation. From time tire went flat towed, towed to Firestone and back on road was less than 3 hrs. Thank you guys for saving the day. I could not have asked for a better experience.

Firestone Auto is a really great Autoshop! They are always super helpful and very kind. I have taken several fleet vehicles to This location and each time they do a great job with the task at hand. The quality of the work is astounding! The inside is cool and has a nice lounge while your waiting. The inside is clean and looks very professional! I would honestly recommend this place! They are quick to get the work done. I'm very pleased with Firestone!

BEWARE. Not trying to throw stones, but just wanting to share my personal experience. I started having brake issues so I got off the interstate and spent the evening in Iowa city. Took my car to Firestone, they got me in quickly, they were very friendly, and they diagnosed my car within an hour or 2.. The problem however, is that they said I needed an entire rear brake job with all the bells and whistles to be road safe. 1600$ they quoted, I could have cried. I had just been inspected a few months back, and had my mechanic check my car before I drove from Pittsburgh to MN.. they said I absolutely needed everything they recommended. Thankfully for me, I reached out to the only friend I had in the area and he helped me drive my car to a local garage, who managed to do the work to be road safe for $400. BIG difference. All that I needed was rear brakes and rotors, not those plus calipers and hoses. The most disappointing part for me was that when I went back and politely said I was going to go elsewhere, they gave me my car back and put NOTHING back in my glove box that they opened and ripped everything out of in order to check my cabin filter. I had my other vehicle key, my insurance and registration info, and my locking lug nut keys all strewn across my passenger seat floor. The disregard for my personal items really made me sad thinking about how many people they get away with gouging, and the way they treat people who are smart enough to get a second opinion.

This place is the best of the best. Great service, great pricing and very honest. No efforts to upsell or price gouge. In my most recent visit, they did something that no other place would ever consider and I will forever be a loyal customer now. They've taken great care of my vehicles for over 20 years. I would definitely recommend anyone to take their vehicle there. The place also has a really nice nostalgic vibe and the waiting area offers free wifi and TV including Hawkeye games playing so you don't miss any of the action.

400$ for 4 spark plugs lol. guy asked for a review and i’m for that a good one even as my car is running better - but i popped my hood to check my fluids today, my coolant is low. washer fluid is low. thought it was pretty standard to check stuff like this. oh, and there was a flashlight in my engine compartment just free chillin. awesome! great way to blow up a 30k dollar car. acted is if they were too busy or didn’t wanna do it in the first place, got there and there was one person in the lobby. reading through other comments and as a former service tech this place is a bad joke!!
