I paid $1,200 and spent two days getting four new tires installed on my vehicle at Firestone. Just 27 days later, one of my rear tires blew out on the freeway. After having the car towed, I was shocked to discover that both rear tires were worn down to the metal — an extreme and dangerous level of wear that should never occur in less than a month, especially with brand new tires. I called the Firestone location where the service was performed at 2:00 PM on a Sunday during posted business hours, but they were inexplicably closed. I then called the Firestone at Fort Shatner to ask why, and to explain what had happened. The next day, I spoke directly with Joshua, the manager who had handled my original service. When I raised the issue, he suggested it might be due to poor alignment — but I reminded him that I had also paid $129 for an alignment service during the same visit. He then said he needed to speak with his supervisor and that someone would follow up. The following day, Joshua called back with vague excuses, claiming the tires could have worn down that quickly. Eventually, he agreed to replace the tires at no charge. While I appreciate that the tires were replaced, this situation is extremely concerning. Whether due to gross negligence or intentional fraud, this level of failure in less than a month is not normal — and it put my safety at serious risk. Selling old or faulty tires as new is not just bad business; it’s a potentially criminal act. I’m currently waiting for an official response from Firestone corporate. In the meantime, I urge others to exercise caution and double-check the work being done on your vehicle.

Got a screw in my tire this morning, and I took it to the Firestone Store. My front tires were getting worn, so I just replaced them. 2 new tires, installed, and a Front End Alignment. Done in Less than 2 hours, and I didn't have an appointment!! Just drove in, and they took care of my car!! If you are planning on keeping your car for a few years or more, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND that you get an ASA Front End Alignment for it! They cost more initially, but it's GUARANTEED for the Life of your car, as long as you own it, you can go to ANY Firestone store, and get a Front End Alignment, FREE!!! Very Much worth the initial extra money!!!

I had an extremely frustrating experience at this Firestone location. I made an online reservation the day before, and I even received a confirmation text. However, when I arrived, they told me my reservation wasn't accepted--which defeats the whole purpose of booking ahead. On top of that, their website listed a cheaper tire that I planned to purchase, but when I got there, they claimed they didn't have it in stock and would have to order it. That forced me to buy a more expensive tire, which was already frustrating. Even then, I had to wait over three hours without any estimate of when it would be ready. No communication, no updates--just sitting around wondering when my car would be done. Finally, they called me to pick up my car. I paid, expecting the tire to be installed, but then they told me to put it on myself! Their excuse? There were two cars ahead of me. But when I looked in the service bay, the workers were just standing around, not even busy. With their equipment, it would've taken them a couple of minutes to jack up my car and install the tire. Instead, they charged me for labor but wanted me to do the labor myself. Completely unacceptable. This location is disorganized, unprofessional, and lacks customer service. I wouldn't recommend coming here if you value your time and money.

I felt like the mechanic was knowledgeable and helpful. They explained each step and process and how long it would take so I could plan around the maintenance. I would definitely recommend Firestone complete auto care to my co-workers friends and family.

Cars can pull right up to the front of the service bays and park in their front lot. Went at 1pm on a Saturday to fix a flat (caught a nail). Not too many cars waiting. Was out of there within a hour after getting a patch (get the tire warranty)

The store manager Flo and his technicians/mechanics were very friendly. They did a wonderful job working on my car. My car drives better than when I took it to the dealer to have my car serviced. Firestone Dillingham does great vehicular maintenance and work. The cost to do business there does not require a whole lot of money. Decently priced.

Overall, I’m pleased with the balance/alignment that they did. My car is driving much more smoothly and the steering feels better aligned. The front desk representative was not helpful with finding discounts/coupons, unlike the reps I have worked with in the past. He asked me to sign several times before telling me what the estimates for charges are or providing me a copy of the estimate/invoice at drop off. Will return for tire service, will take business elsewhere for all other services. The scope of work that the Firestone location provides is very limited. The Firestones that I have been to in other locations of the continental US have more comprehensive service capabilities like fluid flush services, air conditioning, etc. This is not a “Complete Auto Care” location, this is a tire shop. If you need tires, tire/wheel service, or a basic oil change only, this is the place to go. They do not check or top off other fluids like most shops, even as part of the “inspection service.”

The engine cooling light started going on intermittently and I knew it was important to not drive her and get to a repair shop asap. Was in the area, called Firestone Dillingham Friday around 4:00pm, asked if I could get the car there and leave her overnight to be worked on Saturday. They said YES. Everything was fixed by 1:00pm the next day. Am grateful for the availability and timely repairs. Thank you!

I bought 2 new tires for my car. On previous visits they always automatically put the new tires on the rear and rotated the rear tires to the front, obviously for safety reasons when driving. This time they did not rotate and they just put the new tires on the front. My feeling was that they were busy and wanted to save time by cutting corners and did not prioritize customer safety. I asked the guys at the desk and got a lot of excuses and pushback, which was not appreciated. I had to come back the next day and wait for another hour to get the rotation done that should have been done on day one. Poor work quality and poor customer service.

To be totally honest writing a positive review at Firestone on Dillingham rd. or practically any other Car service maintenance shop on Oahu, Well this is started with a positive and helpful phone call to Firestone his name is Flo the Manager on Dillingham, same day call/service, (oil change) no typical long wait, and while I was waiting for my oil change in the air conditioner shop, I was watching and listening Flo the manager how he has great customer service skills relations to his new/old customer coming in the shop while waiting, Honest, with understanding details, helpful about car parts when order, and especially with prices very positive & importantly not high balling prices, The very best customer service relations Car auto repair/Maintenance shop I ever been in, hands down, you don't see that in most auto shops, Aloha Gene L

Great customer service. Ask for Josh, he will take care of you. Came in with a flat tire with a screw in from the nearby rail construction. He took a look at it and immediately took me in. Patched and repaired in less than half an hour. Waiting area is dog friendly and cool AC. Would take my car here for service also.

02/05/2026 I came in here about a month ago to get my brakes changed (left a review for that visit) well again today I needed an oil change BADLY, I neglected my vehicle a little bit and the oil life went down to 0%. I went ahead called, spoke to a gentleman named Calliber, who was very helpful in the phone and answered all of my questions. He said I was able to come in to get the oil changed. Agaaaain I didn’t expect this visit to be quick because I know it was a last minute appt and service. But lo and behold! They got it done in such a timely manner! They even inspected the brake job they did a month ago to make sure everything was still fine and it was! Except for the rears brakes that they’ve already told me I should look into getting them replaced within the next couple of months if the visit a month ago. I will definitely be coming back here to get those rear brakes done as well! This shop has yet to let me down and have been on top of everything when I’m there! Thank you again Calliber!

Taylor was awesome! Confirmed my same day appointment early in the morning as the email hadn't come through. Taylor also assisted me with servicing inquiry. While my tires were being inspected, she asked if I'd like to have some additional things checked and incorporated the findings into my servicing inquiry. Everything was mapped out in plain terms I can understand. Taylor exhibits outstanding interpersonal skills and connects with customers on a personal level as well as on a business level. She is to be commended, as she learns more about the company, the cars, and how to do repairs, from the technicians and colleagues. Knowledge is power, so never stop learning. Showroom/waiting area is clean and tidy with lots of seating to wait.

Dropped my 4 new wheels and tires that were already mounted off at approximately 10am to have it balanced. My appointment was at 1pm.I was assured it would it would take a couple hours or less. I arrived to see nothing had been as per my request. I told the person behind the counter that I was taking my business elsewhere. I walked out the store and a tech was going to take and?? Do the work. I told him I was taking my tire setup with me. The reason for appointments is to have things done in a proper timeframe. I was not going to wait another hour to have my request done when it should have been completed by the time I arrived back.

They are open on SUNDAYS. They were able to help me as a walk-in. I needed a new battery for my 2019 Mini Countryman. The shop did not have the battery on site - had to retrieve one from their warehouse. I was in and out in under two hours, and for way less than I would have spent at the Mini Service Center. Car is running great. The waiting area was fairly busy. Josh, the service manager, was at the desk providing customer service. He was attentive, efficient and courteous.

I scheduled an 8 AM appointment over the phone and confirmed it directly with staff. When I arrived at 8 AM, I was told they were already full and asked if I could leave my car or wait longer. My appointment was then changed to 10 AM without my approval. While I was waiting, I heard the associate tell other customers their appointments would take about an hour. Meanwhile, I was the only customer left standing around just waiting for my tire to even be assessed. That did not sit right with me. I came in for a very tiny puncture that was slowly leaking air. It was NOT a sidewall puncture. I was told it was too close to the sidewall and would not hold, and that I needed to purchase a new tire for $220 a pop. (I know my car and what tires i needed) I do not believe that assessment was accurate. I left and went to another tire shop, and they patched the tire with no issue. I am currently driving on it without any problems. On top of that, recommending a highway tire for a Jeep Wrangler didn’t sit right with me. I felt 220 for just highway tire is too much. The whole experience felt misleading and like I was being pushed into buying something I did not need. I walked in for a simple patch and walked out with nothing done. Very disappointed. I will never go back again.
