i genuinely like working with these people when it comes to their service department. I work with dealerships (not this one to clarify) on the daily with sales/finance and these are some of the most helpful people in their service department. Brandon answered all my questions, used the supplies i brought with no questions asked (besides making sure everything was closed before using, which is good), and did not try to upsell me some useless crap like other spots. i will be coming back here.

Disrespectful to your time. I was given instructions, I followed them and was forced to wait for nearly an hour. I go and ask the mechanics and it turns out the guy who checked me in didn’t even tell my service person and it turns out he gave me the wrong instructions to follow. Do your staff need additional training?

I just want to start out by saying Aiden was great. Very friendly and personable. The dealership service center, however, is a total scam. I will never go back to them again. I found out for $225 that I needed a new fuel door actuator because mine is making an awful rattling noise. After the "free" inspection, they tried to upsell me on $2500 more service things I supposedly needed. They wanted to charge me $512.53 for a part i bought for $46.92 on a registered Honda parts website. Labor should not cost $465.61 for a service most people online say takes 10-20 minutes to diy. This place rips you off. Don't go here.

I had a very disappointing experience at this service center. I was charged ~$600 for a brake actuator and an additional ~ $900 for labor, which feels extremely excessive and unreasonable. The total cost did not seem justified for the work performed, and I left feeling like I was overcharged. Transparency and fair pricing are very important when it comes to car repairs, and unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly recommend others get a second opinion before agreeing to any repairs. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.

I took my non-Honda vehicle to First Texas Honda for a tire repair and honestly wasn’t sure what kind of welcome I’d get. To my surprise, the service team was great from the start, friendly, upfront, and quick to help. They gave me a realistic timeline for the repair and kept me updated. Turns out I needed a new tire, and while they didn’t have my size in stock (understandable since my car isn’t a Honda), they found one right away and gave me a quote on the spot. What could’ve been a big headache ended up being just a small bump in the road thanks to how they handled it. Really appreciate the team’s attitude and professionalism, especially Brandon in Express. Absolutely ridiculous sexist BS in the repair service. Charged $100+ for an oil change, told I need an additional $700+ of "yearly" repairs (that are actually mileage based) and wanted to replace my entire headlight assembly to replace the bulb. 90 minute appointment took almost 3 hours. The service was polite about it but this was incredibly poor treatment. Good complimentary hot cocoa though.

This was one of the most frustrating dealership service experiences I’ve had. I scheduled this appointment in person a week in advance and clearly explained my situation to the service coordinator, Dylan. Based on that conversation, a loaner vehicle was scheduled, and I planned my workday around it. Dylan didn’t accept the documentation I initially provided and said “the tech will take care of all that”. Not even a VIN. Nothing. I found that odd and likely would have avoided this entire ordeal. Let’s continue.. When I arrived, they took my car in without issue. Only afterward did they tell me they would not provide the loaner because they “don’t accept Florida insurance.” This was never disclosed beforehand, and no alternative solution was offered. I even suggested a rental and offered to meet them halfway, despite this being their mistake. I was told there was nothing they could do. Later, I was told I needed a $350 tire balance and a $150 alignment based on the assumption that my car could have flat spots from being stored for 90 days. This was presented without a confirmed diagnosis. When I pushed back, First Texas Honda stated they had never heard of a Mechanical Protection Plan (MPP), despite MPP being a standard Honda product that covers diagnostics and mechanical issues and confirmed by the dealership Honda Dealership in Florida where I bought my car. After questioning this and asking for warrantied items to be addressed, I was told they would refuse to work on my car because it “wouldn’t make me happy,” including refusing to inspect or repair items under warranty. The service manager Alex stated this as the reason not to fix my warrantied items! Absolute nonsense! For context, this is a 2025 Honda CR-V with under 10,000 miles, experiencing steering issues, vibrations, and broken components. Because of how this was handled, I had to pay for a rental car out of pocket and lost an entire day of productivity. I filed a complaint with Honda Corporate, who rescheduled me at Howdy Honda nearby. The difference was night and day. Avoid this location. AVOID DYLAN AND ALEX. Poor communication, lack of basic product knowledge, and no accountability. If you do come here, proceed with caution. NOTE: Texas is a one-party consent state. You do NOT need permission from another party to record them, even if the device is hidden in your pocket. I highly recommend this practice in these kinds of situations! I also don’t think the GM would appreciate these employees sharing his travel plans to Las Vegas. It’s a major security and privacy risk for this man’s home and family! Fix these people immediately before they put others in danger.

I’m barely getting my vehicle worked on but I had to leave a review now so I won’t forget. It took awhile to get my car taken, waited about 30 minutes before getting someone’s attention. But I’m giving 5 stars bc of Andy Henderson, he made me forget I was even annoyed about the wait; just with his friendly and positive energy. He made me aware of the app to download for points and discounts and just really turned my morning around. Bonus points for the coffee and awesome playroom and activities! Keeping my 2 year entertained is always a hassle when getting car maintenance done.

I went to have 4 new tires and an oil change @11:30 on 8/5/25. I was told that it would take 3+ hours, so I got a loaner car. I was contacted within 2 hours with the video about the results of the multi point inspection, basically the upsell and told that I would be contacted shortly by my service advisor to go over the video. Didn’t hear from him until 3 hours later. When I didn’t by anything extra, was told that they would contact me when my car was ready. Never heard another word that day. How long does it take to change the oil and put 4 tires on? Oh and wash the car, cause supposedly you get a complimentary car wash. Next day, I hadn’t been contacted by 11am, so I called the service department. The person I spoke with asked me to hold, then suddenly I get a text saying that my car is now ready. I get there to pick it up and of course it has not been washed. I was assured that it was, but it still had bird poop, dirty rims, plant blossoms in crevices, etc. I have photos. If you don’t buy the upsell, they don’t want to have anything more to do with you.

They fixed my car and gave me a loaner which was nice. Communication could’ve been better. I ended up coming to the dealership at one point to get an update. Also, I thought they used to wash your after servicing but I might be thinking of somewhere else. My car was pretty dusty and my belongings were kind of thrown around and crumpled up in the back seat when I got my car back. Not the worst thing just not what I was expecting. The people are nice and friendly overall Update: First Texas Honda reached out to me after I left the review to try to make things right. They quickly sent someone out to have my car cleaned and returned back to me. I appreciate their efforts to rectify the situation. Thanks!

This is an update to a previous review that I posted. I had a bad experience servicing my car and I posted a negative review. I was contacted by the team at First Texas Honda and they offered to make it right. They had me come in and they fixed the issue with my car with complementary service and a loaner vehicle. They took care of everything and I am very happy with their solution to my issue. I would like to thank Sunny, Mikey, Eduardo, and Alex for making sure that the service was top notch.
