I’ve purchased two vehicles at Vic Bailey Ford in the past five years, both the vehicle purchases and subsequent service is top notch from the customer service to the high quality workmanship on the vehicle services! Will purchase my next Ford at Vic Bailey.

My car is fixed but communication and updates were very lacking. The mechanics were very helpful and explained everything to me. It was just hard to get anyone on the phone and things felt pretty unorganized.

I scheduled work on my truck because it was leaking antifreeze. I was told it is likely the water pump and would only take 4 hours to fix. I dropped my truck off the Tues night before. Work appt scheduled for Wednesday before Christmas. I did not receive an update or call for two days. Thursday night before Christmas I went up there to ask for my truck back because I was pretty mad at this point. Had to go up there and ask for it back after hours. They pulled it out of the bay and said it was good to go. I naively paid and left, just glad to get my truck. Over the Christmas holiday it's still leaking. This is ridiculous.

I have spent a lot of money getting my vehicles serviced at this dealership and still left there without correcting the problem. I was told if the computer doesn’t give a fault code, they cannot fix the problem. So I took my ford to a different automotive shop and within 2 hours was told the problem is the ECM. Why couldn’t Vic Bailey have found it and make the corrections? I’m done with Vic Bailey Service Dept.

I had a problem and I urgently needed a key made that we had damaged for one of our customer's cars. The guys at this location didn't have any openings but squeezed me in anyways. When the car arrived, the key was stuck. Now instead of a simple key programming, I needed actual work done. Jonathan moved some work around and they got the key unstuck, the new key made, and I returned the car to the customer. They were so helpful when the first two dealerships I called were dismissive. I can't recommend these guys enough.

Have had used other Ford service centers in the area for warranty work/ service and has been a nightmare. First time giving Vic Bailey service center a try. And to my disbaleaf I was amazed. I delt with Christopher. They got me in and out on the day I called. They fixed the problem I was having and went above and beyond and went ahead and took care of some recalls I didn't realize I had. Will definitely only use them going forward. Thank you!

If I could give zero stars, I would. I brought my F150 here March 15, 2024. I got a diagnosis and was told they didn't have the parts- fine. So they told me they were ordering the parts and that they would give me a call when it was in. I called 4 days later asking for an update- since I drive 750 miles a week and I have a very demanding job. They did not answer any of my calls. I called 10 times throughout the day from open to close. I waited a few more days to call again, no answer. I waited until today (4/22) to call again and I still had to call twice to get an answer. When I finally got ahold of someone, they basically gave me a list of parts that were ordered associated with my name but have nothing to do with the repair that needed to be done to this car. I have never despised getting work done on my car more than when I have to deal with Ford of Spartanburg. Never ever again

Once again I was lied to. I was charged twice for a wheel alignment. The general manager, Steve said I would receive a refund in the form of a check. I have never received the refund. Such dishonest business.

Dropped my truck off at 9 AM and sat in the lobby for 4.5 hours with no updates from anyone. When I finally asked about what was going on, they casually mentioned they were ordering a part that would not arrive until the next day. I’m 83 years old and they let me sit there all morning without a word. No communication, no common courtesy. If you’re looking for a master class in disorganization and indifference welcome to Dysfunction Junction!

I have to drive around with a broken grille for 4 months now. Because the spare parts department cannot send me a new one, these people are not professionals, they work disgustingly and do not know how to select spare parts. They sent the wrong part four times.

Alan is very unpleasant. He definitely needs a class on customer service. We took my stepmothers car in for recalls and he was very rude over the phone multiple times. He called my father on the morning of August 18th and immediately had an attitude because their service department took blurry photos for warranty.

Beware of the service department. Absolute worst service experience I've had at any dealership. Little to no communication from them during the duration of the repair. Most communication only occurred when I made multiple onsite visits since it's was very rare to get anyone to answer the phone. When I would speak to the advisor or service manager I would get conflicting information. When I couldn't get a straight answer from any of them I requested to speak to the mechanic doing the work on my vehicle which they refused. There was zero concern or empathy whatsoever ever from management on their significant mishandling and lack of customer service throughout this process. I will gladly drive an hour further down the road to a different dealership for service going forward. At the end of the day, my vehicle was repaired but the process to make that happen was miserable and extremely time consuming.

I have a 2016 F150 and a branch off of the main wire harness melted against the exhaust. This should be a recall but instead Ford decided to take advantage of me. I went to parts dept to get a part number for the wiring harness and they said the label on the wiring harness i gave them doesnt show up in their system. Even though i showed them a picture and they told me that was the label. So i decided ill have the tech lift the truck and get me more info. I talked to service dept. they said 1/2hr 115$. I knew it was high but said lets do it. They Lifted the truck to show me what i already knew but we decided on repairing the connection for the crank position sensor. They told me going to be $800. I specifically asked the service dept if it was going to be done that day. He asked the tech who was on the phone if he is going to start today. I said NO, is it going to be done today because i have to work out of town tomorrow. The tech confirmed that it would. I know this 230$/hr is way to high but they had it on the lift and told me it would be done that day. I said go ahead even though i know it wouldnt take them nearly as long as they said it would. but thats not what this complaint is about. I went to the lobby and about 30min later the tech and service rep walk in showing me the pigtail they removed. they showed me that all around it was in bad shape and had to be replaced. then the service rep said that 100$ pigtail and they will have to pick it up from Greenville. On top of that, now they dont know if they will get it in time. My first question was, why is this small connector with 2 wires $100 dollars. I told him I can go pick up the part. Service rep said that I wont get a better deal and that their guy was already on the way. HOW IS THEIR GUY ON THE WAY IF I DIDNT HAVE TIME TO SAY YES YET!!! but when i said fine do it, they said oh we might not get the part today because of traffic, you will have to come back tomorrow. Today when i picked up my truck they charged me $973.78 to replace a pigtail on the crank sensor. After paying I looked at the receipt. They don't show their $230 per hour bill rate. but there were charges i didn't not sign up for. I asked the service rep, what is this $57.68 charge that says Customer pay shop charge for repair order about. His first words, oh that's not coming off. I asked what do you mean. he said every car in the shop gets this charge. I asked him why he didnt disclose it before hand. he said i must have forgot!!!! I asked him, I cant get it back if you didn't tell me about it? he said no, they didn't used to have it but the new owners started to charge for this. I told him this is robbery and he knew it. He agreed that we are taken advantage off and simply left saying sorry. All i wanted was to find the wiring harness so i could repair what should have been a recall myself, but they got me for about a grand. I'm not blaming the tech, I think he did a good job. I do however blame the service dept for not being upfront with me and then not doing anything about additional charges that were slapped on at the end.

They are phenomenal! Had to replace the transmission in my F150 (truck not bought from them) and they finished it in ONE DAY! I have always gotten excellent service from them.
