Simply a wonderful service facility. Had a service agent with me 2 min after arriving. We discussed the routine maintenance and a video review was then sent that confirmed all the inspection and maintenance points. My car was done in less than an hour. I will continue to get my Subaru serviced at Fred Anderson Subaru.

The service at Fred Anderson Subaru is exceptional! They created a beautiful waiting area with stunning views of the mountains all around, so waiting for the service to be completed was actually a treat! My service manager Jaz was very professional, friendly and attentive to my needs, and she communicated everything clearly and exceeded the expectations set. I was in and out much quicker than anticipated.

The dealership is large and has a large staff of qualified personnel who were efficient and most polite. I had to wait for the repair and tire installation. I had a most comfortable area with snacks and beverages. I had left my dog at home, but she would have had a pleasant place to stay if she had come. I am traveling and from out of town, but I called ahead, and they ordered the part I needed so I could continue my journey as expeditiously as possible. I thank them wholeheartedly.

Excellent service from Justin, and the technician. My vehicle needed headlight restoration and my car looks and shines like brand new. They even scheduled a free Uber lift back to the dealership to pick up my car. Very pleased!

The facility is beautiful and the people i talked to were lovely. But i went in check out oil leak only and they didnt clean any oil off and run engine to see where it was leaking. They took video of other areas i did not ask for but misdiagnosed problem and charged me $188 and gave me a quote so high i would need to total a very clean Ouback with 88,000 miles. No bueno.

I originally bought my Subaru from CarMax a couple years ago and got oil changes/tire rotations from random garages, so this was the first time I took my car to a Subaru dealership service department-this place is a game changer! Where do I begin: the comfy waiting lounge with high quality refreshments, the mechanic sends you a video of their diagnosis/inspection, and Francisco, my service advisor was awesome! He kept me informed and was courteous of my time. When he felt like I have been waiting too long for a warranty approval to go through, he offered me a rental car to use the rest of the day! As I was getting set up with the rental, he said the warranty was just approved and quoted me 2 weeks my car would be in the shop and to keep rental until then. Four days later, I get a call that it’s done! My car has been running smoothly ever since, and I will only be going here for my service needs. Can’t recommend them enough!

I appreciate the service videos. Sometimes they can be a little shocking when they find oil leaks and suggest 4 new tires on a car with only 12,000 miles. After talking to my service rep we determined the tires could wait until next oil change and the oil leak would be addressed immediately. You provided a loaner car and assured me the oil problem would be covered by warranty. As it turned out the oil leak was caused by a faulty seal of the drain plug. All of the staff and the service manager handled my concerns very thoroughly and professionally. When I picked up the car there was no charge for the service and even the alignment was covered. I felt much more confident in the service and my choice of purchasing a Subaru with maintenance agreement. Pricing quotes on tires was also very helpful in planning for new ones in the future. Thank you

Was 2 hours from home on New Year’s Eve & had to get my Forester towed to Fred Anderson ( it was screaming like a dying velociraptor). That night I was able to scheduled a repair appointment on-line for Jan. 2nd (their next day open) & they got to it bright & early that morning. They sent me a cool video explaining what they found (just a piece of gravel in my brake!). $25 later, I had my car back & was on my way home. Excellent service advisors, great mechanics & super cool use of technology! Kinda tempted to drive 2 hours for service needs in the future.

Here goes. We have an older Subaru, our 3rd and steer clear of dealerships after the warranty is up. We received a great coupon for a $9.99 and wanted to see the new space so we made an appointment and came in. PRO: New facility is wonderful. Even took advantage of the dog park. Very impressive set up. Reception was friendly and efficient. Staff was great. We were starting to think maybe we should start using you for maintenance and will probably be getting a new car soon and thinking maybe stay with Subaru. CONS: Wait for it. “I see you also want your tires rotated.” Nope, never asked for that and an off putting attempt at upselling, the bane of dealerships. Oil change for $9.99? “Oh, that price includes 5 quarts and your car takes more than that so it will be $25.” In fact our Outback takes about 1/3 quart over. It’s being taken out of a bulk container so again an unfortunately expected bit of scam. Minor issues for an oil change but simply and disappointedly confirms the lack of honesty and transparency that we and many fear. Again chump change but on a large maintenance issue everyone wants to go to an auto repair person that they trust and for that chump change, you have shaken that trust. We had hoped for more from Subaru.

Service was excellent: great communication with Francisco Mendoza, the Assistant Service Manager, on getting my maintenance and troubleshooting work accomplished in a timely manner. The service techs even completely cleaned out the engine area under the hood. Looks like a new vehicle, it’s so clean. It was an unusually great experience for car maintenance. Color me impressed!

Jaz was an excellent help when I brought my car in for 90K maintenance. She was efficient and friendly and competent. The service took overnight, so she set me up with a loaner. She kept me informed along the way, just enough information, not overwhelming. By far the best experience I’ve had in their new location. Seek Jaz out!

Service only review: Jaz was amazing to work with! We were on a road trip and encountered an incident requiring a new wheel and parts that had to be ordered around the holidays. Jaz thought of many ways to ensure I could get back on the road without delays but ended up having to go through insurance. Jaz helped us get in to a rental to continue the trip, and stayed in contact with updates along the way. We were able to pick our car up on the way home in perfect condition. Would stop again if we’re in the area and need service. Great facility too.

I always get my 2021 Outback serviced here. And the waiting area is clean, big with lots hangout options & nice refreshment available for free. The staff is always super nice. Quay is the best!! I was a walk- in around noon, it was busy, & had to wait a bit longer than with an appointment, which I recommend making a few days beforehand. But I completely understood. Quay was my service specialist. She was Amazing. Kept me informed on the time frame. I ended up needing more than expected and we worked together to figure out the best options for me. She was well informed and answered all my questions with ease and clear for me to understand. I recommend requesting her for your service help needs. I will continue going to this location.

Drove from charlotte because I saw a great oil change deal they were offering. The service was amazing and so was my rep Calista. They were flexible when I needed to push my appointment time back, the service took exactly the time they said, and they were really sweet to my dogs offering them treats and toys. The wait was easy because they had a dog park where we played fetch and got out all their energy. The mechanic also provided an interactive video checking all the regular maintenance on my car and recommended services without any pressure. I have another Subaru closer to me I will likely drive to Asheville my car serviced here in the future because of the great experience I had!

Loved having women greeting me in the Service Department. Love the new building with big, bright windows, comfortable seating, local coffee (Dynamite Roasting Co), and Bob Ross on the TV! Would have enjoyed seeing some healthy, alternative creamers. Love that they sent a video walk-through of my car. Overall, super impressive first experience with the Service Department at Subaru since buying my used 2023 Forester.

This review is specifically for the service department, and I am posting it here as well as the dealership that it is a part of - I caution you not to put your trust in them, as they do not seem to do honest or trustworthy work. I foolishly brought my 2020 Subaru here a few weeks ago because the check engine light was on. After they first diagnosed it, they claimed the engine needed flushing for $500. Very well, I thought, as long as it will resolve the issue. Two hours later, they come back and say that because the engine flush did not cause the check engine light to turn off, it must mean the engine needs all four sprockets replaced for $5,000. They sent me away with a loaner, which, to their credit, they comped, and gave me a day to consider their estimate. The next day, after coming to my senses, I returned the loaner in exchange for my vehicle and took it to the dealer where I had purchased it for a second opinion. That dealer treated me with so much more kindness and respect than this Subaru dealership had. Not only did they need to flush the engine again, because it looked like it had not been done (despite my having paid Fred Anderson $500 to do so), but they found that the real source of the problem was simply a cracked PCV hose. Come to find out, that is an incredibly common problem with my model year, and the Subaru dealership surely should have known. The latter dealership saved me $5,000, and I only wish I would have brought the car to them in the first place. I will never give a dime to this Subaru dealership again. *Note that I only gave them 2 stars instead of 1 because they were kind enough to comp my loaner for the day.

I purchased my vehicle with the former company Prestige and have always done my services with them. Even with the switch to Fred Anderson they are a phenomenal company to deal with. Their staff is always happy to help and listen when you have questions or concerns. They are very knowledgeable and really go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. I will continue to return for as long as I own a subaru and live in the area.

Great service as well as Customer Care. Justin was very knowledgeable and he made sure to input the reason I brought in my Crosstrek. He found a software update for the radio/media which solved that issue. Ty the tech who worked on my Crosstrek was very informative letting me know all that he did including the safety inspection check. I am very happy with the service I receive at Fred Anderson Subaru Service Center.

I had a wonderful experience at the new Fred Anderson Subaru of Asheville! I brought my Subaru Outback in for scheduled maintenance and was warmly greeted by Quay, who gave me a quick tour and effectively communicated with me throughout my time there. It was a pleasure to relax in the new and beautiful facilities. There is a large variety of comfortable sitting areas, most with gorgeous views. They offer a generous beverage station and, being pet friendly, there is also a dog park for Fido! I look forward to doing business in the future with Subaru of Asheville and its team members.

I scheduled an oil change and check-up and they were able to get me on the schedule quickly. I was early and was warmly welcome. The service people were very willing to help me with all my needs and questions. I had a broken strap on the trunk door and they had it in stock and were willing to replace it which was a pleasant surprise. The waiting area is very compfortable and they have some nice beverages and snacks which is nice. It mens a lot that Fred Anderson is so willing to ohelp the community out. Bravo to them for raising funding for Manna!
