I have a 1999 van and as you can imagine, it’s needed some work done and this place has been both quick and very reasonable with prices. Not to mention everyone I’ve interacted with here has been an absolute pleasure. Having a good mechanic really makes life so much better, and I couldn’t be more grateful to these guys!!

This place was okay, I am not one to post reviews unless I feel very strongly about them. But anyway, I took my car in on a Monday and gave the lady at the front desk my information, keys, etc. After that, she said she would make sure to call to give me updates on my car. A couple hours later, she calls me to let me know what's going on and what's been worked on. A few more hours pass and no update, so I call and then she tells me there is still no update. I think fine, i'm probably being impatient & they must be busy, so maybe they'll call me tomorrow. Tuesday rolls around, and since I know they open at 8, I wait to see if I'll get a call. Nothing. So then I call, and I let her know my name & that I still have not received any information about my car. She had a pretty annoyed/passive-aggressive tone and just repeated to me that she would call to update me if there WAS an update. That left me feeling pretty uncomfortable, I have a right to know what's going on especially if I'm paying for these services. So I let it go, and then Wednesday finally comes. I become frustrated and decide to just go see what's going on. So i get there and the mechanic tells me it had been finished. Once I go into the office to sign for the work that was done, the receptionist tells me that she had been calling me to let me know that my car was done and that I was supposed to pick it up the end of the day on Tuesday; however I had no calls or voicemails. So I told her I had not gotten either things. I just felt very weird with this whole interaction and I think it was just pretty irresponsible to not let someone know their car was ready. Obviously people need their cars for a number of reasons and updates are appreciated. I understand everyone is so busy, I just did not appreciate the tone when I called to check about my car and then the sudden switch up when I went to pay in person. It just felt like so much wasted time and of course if I had been called about my car being ready I would have gone ASAP. It was just an odd interaction and maybe a bad day, but I just felt the need to express this because even if a place has fair prices, customer service is also important and just overall, a welcoming atmosphere from the employees. All in all, they did fix my car's issue and at a decent price.

I had major bodywork done on my SUV recently and the outcome was pretty amazing thanks to Jim and his incredible team at the shop, they run very professional, honest and ethical business, I had taken this car to three different shops but they refused to work on it due to the severity of the damage and hard to find replacement for the damaged parts for this 23 years old SUV. Don't waste your time looking for a place to get work done on your car whether it's mechanical or Bodywork, just take it straight to Jimmy at Fullerton Auto Repair.

After multiple mechanics, wasted money, 3 failed smogs, I finally passed my smog test after a year thanks to this team. Fullerton Auto Repair found the solution to my 2010 honda accord's catalytic converter and o2 sensor issues. Not only did it take Jim a few hours, but it was very affordable as well! I can't thank them enough as this ongoing problem was taking a mental toll on me. Highly recommend them for being honest, good at what they do, very reasonable, and easy to work with!

If it were possible to give this place 10 stars, I would!! I truly cannot recommend Fullerton Auto Repair Clinic more highly. I brought my VW Tiguan in for an issue with the module that controls the airbags as well as a broken A/C system. I had gotten a couple other quotes from repair shops in Los Angeles for the airbag problem, both of which were $4K+. Those technicians had told me they would need to completely tear apart the drivers seat to get access to the module and replace several costly parts on it. Fortunately, a dear friend of mine recommended Fullerton Auto Repair Clinic after having great experiences with their team and I'm SO GLAD I listened to her! The service I received was best in class and I couldn't be happier with my experience there. Bill (one of the owners) ran a full spectrum of diagnostic tests on my vehicle and determined that the problem with the airbags was simply due to some faulty fuses. What other places had said would cost thousands of dollars to fix ending up costing me less than $50!! The A/C repair price was also much more competitive than other quotes I had been given. Bill was so kind and took the time to explain in depth how everything worked. Myrna in the front office kept me updated on timing via text message, and gave my dog treats along with a lot of belly rubs! :) It's SO clear that this family-run company takes immense pride in their work, and I will never take my car anywhere else. Thank you so much again for such a wonderful customer experience!

These guys and gals are amazing they did all they promised and then some. I went in for a body repair, and my car looks great. Jim breaks down everything, so it's easier to understand what's going on he answered all questions or concerns I had. They took a little longer than planned, but other than that, they were so easy to work with. Definitely recommend this place.

I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla and recently had a check engine light come on. I needed to pass a smog check, but most of the shops I visited told me it was a transmission issue and offered very expensive solutions. Jim, however, took the time to explain the steps we could take to address the problem. We decided to do a transmission fluid and filter service, and it completely resolved the issue. He even test-drove the car afterward and recommended a smog check location for me. I’m extremely happy with the service. Thank you, Jim!

Can't say enough about this place. I took a chance as it was on my way home. Even though they were pretty busy, a service technician, Jim, was able to assess my situation and give me a ballpark estimate. He was knowledgeable and even warned me about some things I should watch out for with aftermarket parts which I appreciated. They were able to fit me in that day. After the job was finished, it was even better than I expected and the price was exactly what was quoted. Myrna in administration was friendly and a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be going there for any future auto needs!

I have an older model Volvo and often times it's hard to find shops that can or will work on it. This place could and they did. The staff in the office was great and all the techs in the shop were cool as well. They explained everything clearly to me and the price was great. They completed the work in just one day and communicated with me throughout the day as well. The work they did was great as well as the way in which they provided the service. Extremely friendly and straight forward with everything. I definitely recommend them to anyone needing any repairs or body work. I feel blessed I was able to find them. –Dishonest and disrespectful– I took my 2015 Hyundai Elantra to this shop for an engine replacement after it was recommended by a regular customer. The shop delayed the delivery and asked for additional charges. Shortly after I got the car back, it failed again. An authorized shop later confirmed that the engine had never been replaced and that only a partial repair had been done. I do not recommend this shop. Not only did they fail to keep their promises, but they were also dishonest and rude.

Recently got into my first ever car accident. I requested a quote on Yelp and Jim had asked me to come to the shop to get an estimated quote. He gave me a comprehensive breakdown of everything he and his team needed to do to fix the car. Almost all of the grille, emblem, hood latch, radiator were bent/broken so they needed replacement. Myrna the admin assistant was very accommodating to let me know when the car will be ready. It took two weeks to order parts and do the labor. Jim is an honest mechanic. After two weeks, my car is brand new! I recommend this shop for anyone who needs to do collision repairs.

These guys have helped me fix up a 2005 town car and it is now in absolutely great working condition. It feels like im driving a new car! Electrical, AC, suspension, these guys do everything!
