I am very pleased with the excellent work and professional care the Gallardo’s Team provided in rebuilding my 2004 Dodge Truck engine . You not only made the vehicle road-worthy again, you did so at a reasonable cost. Gallardos completed all repairs required at a reasonable cost and communicated in a timely manner throughout the project’s completion. The vehicle is running better than ever. Special thanks to Anthony for coordinating an overall job well done. Kudos also to Gallardos Ownership (Cindy) for maintaining a true automotive service treasure for Ventura County. I used to only go to the dealership for service because I believed they had the best technicians to care for my car. However, since I started coming to Gallardo's, I haven’t gone back to the dealer…not because of cost, but because I feel my car gets more attention and better care here. I care a lot about my car, and based on experiences so far, I feel it’s in better hands at this shop.

Vehicle is serviced regularly for maintenance and if there have been problems they have been accommodating and great at communicating with us. Grateful a place like this exists.

I recently took my Chevy pickup into Gallardo’s. I was greeted by Anthony and he followed through by keeping me informed about my mystery electric problem. I brought it in because when I turned the key on all the interior lights, radio and electric seats worked but absolute I’ll nothing from the starter. All exterior lights worked. So I figured either starter fuse blew or the ignition switch died. Anyways Anthony kept it overnight, took the dash apart and no answers. Finally Anthony called me and asked if I had another key. I brought the second key in and the truck started right up. 2 months earlier I had a duplicate key made which I had used everyday since I had it made. So I wasn’t suspecting it was the key. Long story but I took the duplicate key back to the locksmith that made it and it had erased its memory. He reprogrammed the key and truck started right up. It is a very reputable locksmith. It was just one of those fluke things. Back to Anthony and Gallardo’s. They are in my opinion the best repair shop in Thousand Oaks. I’ll be bringing my other vehicles to them for regular maintenance and repairs if I need them.

I have been coming here for years. It all started when the company car I was driving needed a major service and the repair shop the company used was short staffed and wasn’t able to provide the service my car urgently needed. They recommend Gallardo’s and I have been coming here ever since. In fact, we have been bringing all three of our family cars here. Great service and great work at Gallardo's! The engine issue I had was diagnosed right away. I payed for everything online and since I worked till late in the afternoon, I was able to arrange to pick up my car at Gallardo's after they had closed for the day.
