On April 15 an undocumented man with a prior record of vehicle theft took my truck from my home into Houston wrecking during a police chase. The truck was stopped by hitting a concrete driveway across a ditch. Extensive damage was done underneath the truck. Gay Buick GMC rebuilt my truck and it is back in my driveway. I love the work they did and respect the Gay family traditions of service with honesty. Best GMC dealership in the greater Houston area. Their commercial on the Astros game are the highlight of the game sometimes even though I don’t speak Spanish. Thank you to the Gay GMC family and the excellent technicians that rebuilt my truck!

Service department needs to do better. Just received an oil change and a few days later noticed low wiper fluid alert. So I decided to add wiper fluid myself. Think it should be included in the hefty price for an oil change. Opened my hood only to notice the wiper fluid cap opened and everywhere under the hood was completely filthy. So, they open the cap but didn’t add any fluid. Service please explain how do you do any point inspection if the surface looks like this. I take it to the dealership to receive quality service . My other vehicle get serviced at other dealerships because of warranty purposes but have never seen a new car under hood look like this.

Matthew Gilcrease contacted me about a recall for my 2022 Denali Yukon. He said a date reminded me contacted me took the vehicle and he serviced it called me to pick it up. Was very professional greeting me with a smile. Make sure that I knew everything that I needed to know about the two updates that were done on my car so far have had no issues I took it in on Tuesday the 22nd and it was done Wednesday and it was washed and ready for me to pick up. Disappointed in service and treatment. Dropped my truck off on a Tuesday morning at 8am. Gave thorough explanation of problems with inside driver door lock/unlock button. Also key fob was acting funny from time to time on starting (saying remote can’t be detected)This shouldn’t have been a major problem for dealer. They kept my truck for an entire week. This was a huge inconvenience and honestly I don’t think they worked on truck more than an hour then entire week. When I finally picked my truck up they said nothing was wrong and everything was functioning as it should. This was false. I took John Broughton out to my truck and showed him that driver door control for locking was completely unresponsive. He took my truck back to garage and returned 10 minutes later saying he needed to order a new switch. Your service department is unreliable and has no attention to detail. The customer is an afterthought and they act like they are doing you a favor. Good luck to you. I will never use Gay service or buy another vehicle from your company again.

I brought my Buick to Gay Buick GMC to address a list of items potentially needing service. The service repr. diligently worked through the list with the service technicians checking the vehicle and provided excellent advice on the repair work required, and keeping me posted on progress of the work and its expected completion. They also performed a safety check on the vehicle which identified a few items needing to be addressed. The service repr gave me a cost estimate before proceeding with the work that was reasonable and helped out with the price by applying available discounts. Overall, I was very pleased with the service repr, his professionalism, sound advice on work actually needed, and attention to detail in making sure the work was performed correctly and to my expectations.

Came for an oil change and that went fine. Have been hearing issues with compressor for AC for months and asked if he wouldn’t mind listening for it so I knew for sure the issue and could get repaired if needed. It was on a Saturday’s and his response was we don’t do that on Saturdays. I said listen to the truck for a noise? Not a good day for Gay GMC for me

Went in for service due to an emissions system code. Your service department proceeded to start digging into the fuel injector system and claimed they found “ashy connectors.” Mind you, the truck runs perfectly. I have never experienced any issues such as rough idle or anything fuel-related. The only concern I had was that the truck regens more than I think it’s supposed to. After they quoted me over $6,800, I told them to wrap the truck up and that I was not getting it serviced there. They told me okay and said it would be done in a few hours and that they would call me when it was ready. I told them at 12:00 to wrap it up. Time goes on, and it’s 5:00 PM, so I have to call them back to ask what’s going on with my truck. The guy I spoke to said, “Yeah, it’s been done, but we’re about to close.” Now I have to scramble to find a ride over there because I have work for the next three days and won’t be able to get there before closing. When I go to pick up my truck, I walk in and tell them what I’m there for. The guy tells someone else to check two spots, and they have no idea where my truck is. While he’s trying to find my truck, the advisor is showing me pictures of the injector connections on “my truck.” The file was for a completely different truck — a GMC 1500. I have a Chevy 2500. I told him those were not mine. He didn’t even try to find my truck’s file and instead made up a lie, saying the tech uploads pictures to the wrong file sometimes. Instead of trying to make sure he was looking at the correct truck, he just made something up. Terrible, terrible experience. On top of that, they tried to make me pay over $200 more than what I was originally told — a $210 diagnostic fee — because the tech had to remove my fender liner to take pictures without getting approval from me. One good thing is they removed the extra charge and only charged me the original $210 diagnostic fee. Multiple things at this dealership were shady, and I will never be back.

Oil change was about 1hr 35 minutes but very helpful group of advisors I took my lifted gmc Denali ultimate to them and even with the 9 inch lift and 24” wide tires/rims they still managed to service my truck! A bit pricey but was it worth it? I would say so so sure!

Friendly service. Takes about an hour. Love my 2026 Terrain! Bought brand spankings my new, brought in for first oil change which was free or included with purchase. Which is awesome. Only issue we have is as soon as we drove off which was closing time and we were heading to a wedding across Houston as soon as we turned on the ac heavy cigarette smoke blew in our face, mind you we do NOT smoke. It was a horrible and upsetting smell to think someone possibly who serviced our car was a smoker and clearly was in our car.If yall were open when I drove off I would have turned around it was so bad. I should not have to be responsible for changing out the cabin filter on our first service do to a smoker. I can only assume of course.
